A home away from home with all the amenities that come with a newly constructed secure accommodation. If you are looking for modern this condo has lots of glass, wood and leather furniture. This condo faces south and overlooks the Halifax Commons and the historic Citadel Hill. The views from the balcony are fabulous in any season. The oval provides roller skating and biking in summer and in winter ice skating is both entertaining to watch from the living room or to participate on your own.

We are in the heart of the city within walking distance to universities, hospitals and downtown.

Everything in this suite is state of the art. The open space concept is elegant with hard wood floors, nine foot ceilings, ambiance lighting, crystal fireplace, 42 inch flat screen televisions and is beautifully decorated. The kitchen with five appliances, granite island and counter tops is fully equipped for fine dining or informal entertaining.

The master bedroom with memory foam bed and walk in closet and four piece ensuite is welcoming at the end of the day. The second bedroom with its own bathroom and den/office equipped with double futon is a quiet place to sit and read and for extra company. The balcony is private with Broil King BBQ. Cost includes all utilities, washer/dryer, phone, cable, wireless, fitness centre and underground parking.

This condominium is close to all amenities, bus routes and is just walking distance to the Queen Elizabeth ll Health Sciences Center, universities, downtown business core and shopping with fabulous restaurants on Quinpool Road and Spring Garden Road.

In between living at my lovely condo, I spend much of the summer at Morning Mist Cottage.

I am forever updating my condo to make it more pleasing to my guests. I bought this condo six years ago. Last year I had the whole condo painting and bought new furniture to place most of the old. I love this condo whether it is winter or summer. The sun shines in through the south facing widows and makes me happy. Elegant Condo Living is in the heart of mid to downtown Halifax. One could walk to shopping and restaurants within minutes.

About me...since you are still reading. I live half year in the Bahamas. i moved to Nassau to teach music education and since then have stayed on and developed a couple of small business. I love the ocean and swim everyday. In 2015 I won a an award for hospitality and am have a Pinnacle Professional Membership in the "Continental Who's Who."

My guests have been exceptionally happy with this property. They walk in the door and can't believe how beautiful, yet comfortable and relaxed it is. It is a cross between modern contemporary furnishings with a antiques of the past.

My husband and I recently (Oct./Nov. 2013) rented the Armoury Square condo in Halifax, owned by Pauline Blades. This spacious and tastefully decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bath luxury condo was fully equipped and met all our needs! With family in Halifax we were able to have and enjoy our grandchildren who were living just around the corner.

We were exceedingly happy with the location which was close to downtown and convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. An added bonus was the great view overlooking the Halifax Commons. The condo is bright with sunshine streaming in through the windows and the Canada Games Oval Skating Ring was a delight to see both day and night.

We were extremely comfortable at Halifax Executive Suites and hope to stay there again in the future.

Elegant Condo - well-named !

We loved Pauline Elizabeth's beautiful apartment, overlooking Halifax Common and the Citadel. It was spacious, beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and we loved the views and the sense of green open spaces in the midst of a small city. It's perfectly situated for exploring Halifax which is so easy to get around. You could even walk downtown and back if you wanted and didn't mind climbing a hill or two. Shops are not far away and really we had everything we needed. We appreciated that some bits and pieces of food were in the cupboards when we arrived, salt, sugar etc, so we could make a cup of tea, and we just loved the colourful Harvest Wreath on the front door welcoming us to Halifax and Elegant Condo. We also slept like logs every night in the ever-so-comfortable beds Thank you Pauline for all the wee touches which we truly appreciated and for responding so readily to our queries both before we travelled and when we got there. We'd happily ask to use your condo again and we'd recommend it to anyone who would like to get to know Halifax and Nova Scotia. We're completely hooked now on NS and will be back to explore more. A comfortable landing in Hallifax

We found this condo to be very clean and comfortable, right down to the futon bed. It provided a great landing spot for assorted adventures in Halifax and the surrounding area. I was not familiar with Halifax before this trip, and expected it to be closer to the downtown area. But we all really enjoyed being close to the north end, with its assortment of wonderful restaurants, and a lovely charcuterie and cheese shop. It allowed us to explore an area of Halilfax we might not have gotten to otherwise, and that would have been a pity. The Agricola Street Bistro is a must. And it was really only about a 15 minute walk (or less) to downtown areas. Everything is quite close. I highly recommend it.

Loved this Place

This apartment was truly beautiful and extremely comfortable for my family of four. It could easily accommodate 6 people. The apartment has a lovely view and the living area/kitchen was perfect for everyone to hang out with plenty of space. The apartment is within easy walking distance to the waterfront area but is still in a very residential neighborhood that has it's own fun personality. The owner, Pauline, was easy to communicate with and it is obvious that she cares deeply about her property and has given it her personal touch. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect accommodations!

We stayed in Pauline's condo the last week of April 2016.

The condo is in a perfect location! It is within walking distance of the waterfront, Pier 21, the Citadel, the Public Gardens, and many other tourist attractions. It is close to shopping (groceries and liquor store) and restaurants. One can park on the street or in the secured underground parking garage (just don't plan to park your SUV!). The building is secured and overlooks a wonderful green space, the view is awesome! The condo is spacious and clean. The furnishings are comfortable and newer. The beds, linens, and towels were great. The building was quiet. We were a party of three, a 70 year old, a 50 year old and a 19 year old and we each had a room to ourselves, and lots of space in the open concept kitchen/dining/living area. A dishwasher was great for breakfast and snack dishes and the washing machine and dryer were handy for our 6 day stay.

Bottom line: we'd recommend this place to our friends and families AND we'd stay at Pauline's condo again.

Playa del Coco

A gorgeous condo in a great location!

My son and I stayed in this beautiful condo for six weeks! We were only going to stay a month but it was so lovely that we stayed an extra two weeks! The condo is thoughtfully decorated with luxe comfort and style. It is a corner unit and receives gorgeous light to brighten up a winter morning. The layout of the condo is fabulous. There are two very separate bedrooms and a lovely den between the living room and second bedroom. Absolutely everything you need in the kitchen and more...was provided. It truly felt like home. The condo building is located in a great location across from the Emera Oval - a fantastic skating rink . The view is lovely from the living/dining area - looking directly across to the Halifax Commons - a giant green space in the heart of the City! A car isn't necessary as you can walk to everything including great shopping, theatre, and museums. There's a Sobey's grocery store just a few blocks away. We have stayed at many VRBO locations and this was definitely one of the very best!

Wonderful place to stay

We spent 5 nights at this beautiful condo. It is exactly as described. The condo is situated very close to all amenities and right across from a very large active municipal park, close to grocery stores and quaint restaurants. The condo is fully equipped and it's like bring at home. Would definitely recommend this rental. It's perfect for two couples.
