Heavily wooded streets that crisscross the area are ideal for bicyclists, jogging and walking enthusiasts. Turpentine's master bedrooms, located on opposite ends of the house, offer private doors to the large decks. Completely renovated in 2006, Turpentine is designed to make your vacation as simple and relaxing as possible!

This place was amazing! We have stayed in many different houses and beaches and my husband said, "Job well done honey, this is my favorite place ever"!!! Our kids are 14 and 16 and this is perfect for them, they could go kayaking in the bay, biking to the beach or pool and even just exploring on their own. Very very safe place! Would definitely go back and refer to anyone looking. Perfect vacation spot!
Turpentine is in a lovely quiet location on the bay with fantastic views. The layout of the home is simple and convenient and at one time I am sure it was a very nice home/rental with ample comfortable furniture. However, when renting this home in August my husband and I found the overall cleaning has been seriously neglected, furniture torn and filthy, bugs dead and alive were present, clean and undamaged pots and pans were minimal. The sewage waste pipe was disconnected and covered our rental car with sewage. Enough said? If the management company can show that it addressed these issues then I would recommend this as a private, quiet rental, especially for anyone interested in fishing or bird watching. If not, SAVE YOUR MONEY! Photos of the issues mentioned above are available but disgusting. Upon our return I sent (August 26th) a list of the issues we had with this house to the management company as well as the photos, hoping they and the owners would use the info to help them get this rental in order. We had not planned on writing a review if they acknowledged our email with a plan to improve the house for future renters. Since we have not heard back from them and are not comfortable with knowing other people may spend hard earned money to be disappointed, we decided to post this fair warning to potential renters.
