Pristine first floor apartment of 106 square meters in lively area just a few steps away from Place de la Bastille ideally situated for shopping, museums, markets, 'La Coulée Verte', the Marais, Place des Vosges, with very convenient metro and bus stops.
The apartment is in pristine condition, elegantly and comfortably furnished with hard wood floors, a 25 square meters fully equipped kitchen/dining room with direct access to a private 30+ square meters terrace looking onto a quiet inner garden for comfortable outdoor dining. It boasts a lovely sitting room, two bedrooms, two separate shower rooms and two toilets. The apartment was recently totally refurbished..
Food shopping is facilitated by several supermarkets within easy walking distance, and small bistros abound in this very popular part of Paris. There are many excellent eateries in the Rue de Taillandiers itself.
Available in the apartment are linens, towels, hairdryers and full kitchen amenities. It is equipped with WI-FI, cable TV, DVD and allows free phone calls from our fixed landline to other fixed landlines in over 50 countries including the USA.
The building is highly secured, requiring a code for the main entrance as well as a second different code for the elevator.
My very friendly greeter meets upon arrival, orients you with the property and is available for questions during your stay. For a reasonable fee, he is also happy to arrange transfers from/to the airport or station is you so desire.

I acquired this property as a 'pied à terre', so that I could enjoy the wonderful buzz of Paris whenever I have the inkling!
Located in one of the most vibrant areas of Paris, access is easy for all the main Paris attractions. Despite this, the apartment is quiet and the terrace adds the extra attraction of outdoor dining.
Just returned from 4 nights in Jean's apartment with my husband and 3 small (8, 6, and 4) children. We had a lovely stay- the apartment is beautiful and spacious and was more than enough room for all 5 us to be comfortable. Everything is as advertised in the listing- the terrace is beautiful and serene, the building is very secure, it's very well appointed and attractively furnished. Although this was my 5th visit to Paris I was not very familiar with the 11 arrondisement. I was pleasantly surprised. Tons of great cafes, restaurants, walking distance to everything you need or want. It's very close to the metro and we had no problems even with 3 kids in tow. We had a wonderful time. Charlie is terrific and was very helpful orientating us to the apartment and neighborhood. Both he and Jean were very responsive and pleasant and I would highly recommend them and this rental.
We couldn't believe our good fortune when we arrived at "our" Paris apartment; it was absolutely perfect for two couples enjoying the beautiful "City of Lights". The spacious living room, kitchen and beautiful patio were marvelous places for us to unwind after a hectic day of sightseeing. The location is "the best". Wonderful restaurants and shops were seconds from the front door, and public transportation so very close. We felt like we were in the heart of the city. The owner and property manager (Charles) did everything possible to make our stay delightful. The apartment is simply lovely, and we felt privileged to be able to stay in such a beautifully appointed home. Yea, we would recommend this apartment without reservation.
When Paris friends came over for a drink, they marveled at "our" apartment. It is beyond spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. Tasteful is over-used but applies here. We were unprepared for the terrace. It is large, flower-planted, and private. We spent most non-rainy off hours on it with a glass of wine and charcuterie. The apartment is convenient to Metro, supermarkets, cafes, and so on -- the 11th was new to us (we had been staying over recent years in apartments in the upper Marais), and could not have been more pleased. It's lively, friendly, and "hot".
Charles, who met us and facilitated everything from airport transport to local recommendations for cafes and restaurants, was remarkably helpful. Jean Viana, the owner (whom we did not meet but with whom we corresponded), went out of her way to figure out how to help us on one occasion. The apartment was the most comfortable of the six or seven we've taken over the past dozen years and we'd return without question.
This is an excellent apartment in a very nice residential neighborhood. The apartment is just as pictured and very large! We felt at home the minute we walked in. Charles met us as we arrived and gave us a very thorough tour of the apartment and the neighborhood. His tips were very helpful during our stay!
The interactions with Jean (the owner) were very easy and pleasant! We would love to return again... just for a longer period next time!

Stayed in this terrific flat for four nights. Spacious and very comfortable. 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. (Second bath toilet is in separate room). Large kitchen with large dining table. Very comfortable living room. Was great to have washer, dryer, and dryer rack. The terrace was lovely even though it was a little cold while we were there. The flat is in a great area near the Bastille and a short walk from the metro station. Lots of restaurants, shops, and a grocery store within walking distance. Check in and out with Charles were very easy.
This delightful and spacious apartment was wonderfully accommodating for our family of 5 (with children aged 5, 10 and 13). Spotlessly clean, it was a tremendously convenient spot to which we could retreat after each daily Parisian adventure. Despite it being in the thick of a vibrant, busy neighbourhood (with the fabulously close Marche Aligre a daily treasure trove of fresh food), noise was not a problem at night, and the private terrace was a huge bonus for relaxing evening chats. Charlie, the Manager was enormously helpful, welcoming and friendly. We hope to return!
