The always enjoyable farm house vacation.

  • 5 of 5

This was our fifth time staying at the Farm and each time is more memorable. We had to skip our annual trip last year because our summer schedule was .extremely busy with weddings and grandchildren being born. When Fall came around, we all realized how much we missed the trip to the Farm and summer wasn't the same.

This year we shared our visit with all five of our grandchildren, Hannah-2 1/2, Bernie-2, Joseph-1, Henry-4 months and Jenna-2 weeks old. They and their parents all had a wonderful time and we are already working on scheduling our return for next summer.

Beautiful property, gorgeous house

  • 5 of 5

We had so much fun here. The house easily fit 6 people and my kids loved the nice big beds. The farm was gorgeous and we just loved everything about it. I couldn't figure out how to work the DVD player and Jean realized it was broken and brought another one over. She also talked me through how to watch TV when I couldn't figure that out!

The only tiny thing I would say is that it is a little annoying to have to deal in cash or money order only. It would be awesome to be able to use paypal or some other electronic means of exchanging money. But don't let it deter you from staying here! So close to Traverse City and anywhere else you want to go up north. It was a fantastic week!

Nicely located Historic Farm House.

  • 5 of 5

Charming old farmhouse. It's clean with a fully stocked kitchen and nicely updated bathrooms with lots of towels. The beds were comfortable with good linens. The property is well maintained on a quiet country road. We enjoyed bonfires while witching the sunset and the stars take over the sky. It's located about 20 minutes from everything including the dunes, Platte river kayaking, lake Michigan beaches, traverse city and the Cherry Bowl Drive In. There is horseback riding available within walking distance from the farm. The farm is 5 minute drive from Lake Ann which has a nice convenient store, pizza place, small brewery and a restaurant. There is also a nice park with playground equipment, basketball courts and baseball diamonds about a half mile down the road.

Great Getaway

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in northern Michigan at this Lake Ann home. What you see in the online photos is what you find. The property owner and manager were very accommodating. There was a lot to do and there was very little competition for trails, beaches, and other resources, because we visited in late May/early June. We would recommend this home to anyone who's looking for a quiet vacation with easy access to nearby cities and towns.

Everything we wanted and more!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay White Farms Northern Getaway! The property was beautiful and peaceful; not to mention, expansive. We enjoyed many walks to the woods, and our little one enjoyed running around in the fields. The backyard had everything you could want: a grill, picnic table, fire pit, lots of chairs, and even bikes to ride. The house came with a fully stocked kitchen, including napkins, paper towels, trash bags, and dish soap. Our favorite parts of this quaint home were the front porch (we ate breakfast out there everyday), and the Kids Cove (a little room of treasures under the stairs that our little one wanted to live in). There was plenty of room at the farmhouse for the seven of us that stayed there. The property manager, Jean, was very helpful, and told us we could call her if we needed anything.

For some of us, it was a revisit, but even though it was my first time in the house, I can honestly say I would definitely stay here again!

P.S. For anyone who plays Pokemon Go, or who has kids that play it, you can often catch various unusual Pokemon right inside the house! : D

We loved staying here. The location is great, within a half hour of everything. The house is great. Plenty of room for the family. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishs and pots and pans. We had plenty of towels, never ran out. The beds are comfortable and nice sheets. Games to play and bikes to ride. The best part is the front porch. We sat in there every day, its relaxing to hear all the birds and the night sounds. Met Jean when we arrived and she is very nice letting us know that if we needed anything to just call, she is just down the road. We will be back. Thanks for your Farm house.
