Lake Ann Farmhouse Rental Photos and Description

4 Bedrooms, 2.5 Bathrooms, Sleeps 10 comfortably

White Farms Northern Getaway is part of a family farm. The country setting allows panoramic views of age old maple trees, hills, sunsets, the moon and stars. You may see and hear cattle in the pasture or near the big red barn. This spacious home was recently restored to its present beauty. Great care was taken to preserve the 100 year old pine floors and the aged spindle stairwell. The bedrooms are bright and cheery with double beds in two upstairs bedrooms, a queen size bed in one upstairs bedroom and a queen size bed in the downstairs master bedroom. There are 2 full baths, 1 half bath, large living/family room, separate dining room, fully equipped kitchen and oh yes - 'the Kid's Cove' under the stairway for the little ones to discover and play. Both porches are enclosed. Available year round, our 'getaway' is a perfect setting for family vacations, reunions, retreats, hunters, fishermen, golfers, snowmobilers, skiers, or color tours. Enjoy the comforts of modern living where we blend the past with the present.

Everything we wanted and more!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay White Farms Northern Getaway! The property was beautiful and peaceful; not to mention, expansive. We enjoyed many walks to the woods, and our little one enjoyed running around in the fields. The backyard had everything you could want: a grill, picnic table, fire pit, lots of chairs, and even bikes to ride. The house came with a fully stocked kitchen, including napkins, paper towels, trash bags, and dish soap. Our favorite parts of this quaint home were the front porch (we ate breakfast out there everyday), and the Kids Cove (a little room of treasures under the stairs that our little one wanted to live in). There was plenty of room at the farmhouse for the seven of us that stayed there. The property manager, Jean, was very helpful, and told us we could call her if we needed anything.

For some of us, it was a revisit, but even though it was my first time in the house, I can honestly say I would definitely stay here again!

P.S. For anyone who plays Pokemon Go, or who has kids that play it, you can often catch various unusual Pokemon right inside the house! : D

Fantastic

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying here. The location is great, within a half hour of everything. The house is great. Plenty of room for the family. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishs and pots and pans. We had plenty of towels, never ran out. The beds are comfortable and nice sheets. Games to play and bikes to ride. The best part is the front porch. We sat in there every day, its relaxing to hear all the birds and the night sounds. Met Jean when we arrived and she is very nice letting us know that if we needed anything to just call, she is just down the road. We will be back. Thanks for your Farm house.

Peaceful Farm House close to everything

  • 5 of 5

Very clean and well maintained. Close to all the local attractions but far enough away from all the traffic. Very quiet and peaceful. A great place to relax. Jean was very responsive to all our needs. Duncan our Morkie loved running around the farm. Lake Ann is a great little town with good places to eat. Thanks Again Jean - We will be back!

Amazing, god's country

  • 5 of 5

Who can beat being surrounded by 120 acres of peace and quite. What a disappointment to read a mouse complaint, it must have been resolved.....We've been coming for years and still no mice in sight. I highly recommend Whitefarms Getaway!

Disappointing stay this time around

  • 3 of 5

My husband and I have rented here before and we loved it. However, we did have some complications on this trip. First, it was HOT and there is not A/C at this location (I believe it states there IS A/C on their listing, but there is a central fan, but not air conditioning). Second, the house had been empty for a short bit and the mice took over which resulted mice droppings and urine in various places, especially under the sink in the kitchen and in the closet of the downstairs bedroom. We had a few mice shoot across the living room floor which got the attention of my puppies. Also, they could also be heard in the ceiling over the downstairs bathroom. I alerted the property manager and they are going to try to get a pest management company in there, but I would verify this so you won't have to carry out the sprung/full mice traps during your stay (never a fun task). In focusing on the positives of this farm though, it has a wonderful front porch which is glassed-in plus 130 acres out back where you can bike and run/walk with your two-legged or four-legged kids. I really hope they are able to get the pest management issue taken care of since this really is a beautiful farm (when everything is under control) and the family that runs it are very kind and try to do a good job.

Fabulous

  • 5 of 5

We had a fabulous stay. We had seven adults and five children four and under. Everyone had a great time. It was everything I had hoped it would be. They had a basket of goodies set out for us as we arrived. There were bikes to ride and we loved the the fire pit. The boys loved watching the bats fly in every morning and back in the evening! We enjoyed talking to Sue and Laurie. They were so sweet.
