A beautifully landscaped private backyard with a mosaic tile spa, an outdoor hot water shower, a covered patio and sandbox, two open air patios with dining and lounging options, a built in 42 inch Lynx gas BBQ, a full kitchen with high end appliances, including 36 inch Wolf range and Miele dishwasher, two luxuriously finished venetian-plastered bathrooms with high volume water pressure and re-circulating water system providing instant hot water, and a beautiful, hand-chiseled Santa Barbara sandstone wood burning fireplace. Also available for guest use are 3 ocean kayaks and 4 foam boogie boards.
The residence sits adjacent to acres of privately-owned, undeveloped land, providing guests with additional exclusivity and privacy to relax and enjoy themselves. It is comfortably furnished and fully equipped to meet the needs of guests who prefer to entertain as well as families who prefer to settle in and create a home away from home.
Dining options include the acclaimed Boathouse Restaurant which is an easy walk from the home. It is also just minutes by car from gourmet grocery stores, coffee shops, additional ocean front dining, the marina and wharf, and downtown SB. Its location is ideal for those guests who prefer to get out and experience all that Santa Barbara has to offer.

The residence was purchased and used as a family home until it was turned into a vacation rental when the owner moved his family to another residence.
Privacy and Location.
I must say, my girls and I all fell in love with this house! The owners have done a remarkable job with their attention to detail on the decor. The pictures do no do it justice. The house in conveniently located to downtown Santa Barbara and the beach. Great quite and peaceful neighborhood, we Ubered it everywhere. The home is ideal for a family get away or just a weekend get away with your friends and or significant other. The price is great for all that you get and the owners have done a great job making sure all amenities are in the home. I can go on forever!!! I definitely will be renting this house again!!!
We had a great extended weekend at this Santa Barbara rental home. The pictures do not do the house justice; everything is nicer in person. The house has everything you need -- soap, shampoo, ample linens, paper towels, laundry detergent, beach equipment and towels, games, books, puzzles -- and then there's the backyard with a built-in barbecue, outdoor shower (great for washing the sand off after the beach!), and a luxurious in-ground spa. The location is good also; we were able to walk to Hendry's Beach and the Boathouse restaurant. It's about a mile down the road from a strip mall that has a grocery store (Albertson's), a bagel shop, and a few other eateries, and it's a quick drive to downtown Santa Barbara. The owners are easy to work with and the security deposit was promptly refunded via PayPal which worked much better than waiting weeks for a check like with most properties. We'd definitely stay here again. Thank you!
What a great place. We stayed there over the holidays and had a fantastic time. Very close to a great beach and restaurant. Communcating with the owners was easy and I would highly recommend this place to anyone with kids. Or as a weekend away with friends. The house is laid out nicely and had everything that we needed.
Just stayed here for our niece's wedding, and it was perfect for our family. Great location in a quite neighborhood. The owners are vary meticulous and acommodating. The only problem we had was we were so busy, that we didn't get to enjoy the full beauty the property. Thanks again, The Young Family.

What a beautiful home. The layout, the structure, the design/decorations are all so well done.
We were participating in the Avon Walk 2013 and made this our home base. LOVED it. You can drive around the block to the beach plus have a great meal at the restaurant/bar.
I highly recommend the owners - because they are easy to work with. We had originally rented another home but that owner was very strange and distrusting, overly paranoid about every detail. That should have been a sign of a problem. Months later, the other rental's owner returned our deposit unexpectedly a month or so away from our event and decided she would stay and entertain guests versus stick with her commitment to rent under VBRO. We were left hanging but luckily received a referral to check out this home.
This home was so my much better and met all of our needs and then some.
My best friend is getting married and we wanted to do a relaxing girls weekend instead of a crazy Vegas trip and this was a perfect home base! The bride was so surprised and absolutely LOVED the jacuzzi. That backyard is gorgeous and the interior is very high quality. We made a lovely dinner and the kitchen had everything we needed. We walked to the Boathouse for brunch Sunday morning and the weather was perfect. We had more than enough space for everyone. All the girls were very impressed with my planning skills and I owe a lot of that to how nice this house turned out to be.

A 4 night minimum stay is required for major holidays. Please inquire about extended stay discounts.
The residence sleeps a maximum of 6 adults or up to 8 guests with children. Exceptions may be possible - please inquire for additional information.
We accept personal checks or payment through PayPal. Fees associated with PayPal are the responsibility of guests. A signed rental agreement and a reservation deposit (pre-payment of a portion of the rent) is required upon booking with the remainder of the rent and damage deposit due 14 days in advance. Inquire for alternative procedures in the event of a last-minute booking.
