'Casa Panga' is is a newly built, 8000 square foot, private oasis. The house has 6 bedrooms 4 and 1/2 baths. It is built around a courtyard using a traditional Mexican style with a modern feel.
Our live in staff can accommodate your every need. The house is a bit remote but being just 20 minutes from the quaint town of San Jose it's an easy trip for lunch, dinner, or a little shopping. Also, if you are in the mood for night life the wild and crazy town of Cabo San Lucas is just about 45 minute drive.
The fishing here is some of the best in the world, we are located right at the Punta Gorda fishing grounds.
We have a 30' center console boat that is available for rent.
With an early morning rise you will see why we named our beautiful home 'Casa Panga.' As you watch the sunrise while sipping your freshly made breakfast and coffee (served to you by the staff) you will see the panga boats off shore hooking up many of the local species. We have caught many fish right off the shore in front of the house. We've even caught a fish with no bait on the hook (my son just wanted to practice casting and caught a fish!).
We look forward to hearing of all your adventures when staying in our beautiful beach front oasis Casa Panga.

Not as good as our 2017 visit.
After a wonderful 2017 visit, we were disappointed this time. The house still looks just like it appears in the photos. It is beautiful, but there were issues with the staff. Last year Raquel and her family made us feel so welcome. This time was different.
When we arrived we noticed 2 ceiling fans in the bedrooms didn’t work. The lamp cord in the master suite had a frayed lamp cord with exposed wires.
The biggest difference though was that Raquel, who had been the heart of this home, was rarely there. Raquelita told us she’d taken a job caring for the house next door, although the house was empty. The meals were not as good. When we requested dessert we were told to buy it in town. ( a 45 min ride) Raquelita offered to make a birthday cake for my husband. That am she said she didn’t have time, suggesting we buy one in town. The whole fish stuffed with shrimp and cheese my husband requested from the menu turned out to be cut up white fish with no shrimp or cheese. On Friday and Sat. the normally quiet beach was filled with cars, tents and ATVs. The beach is public. No problem with that, but did not enjoy all the noise and traffic. Later we were told Raquelitas family was there and she was with them. Most of the time Maria was left on her own to take care of things. She did a good job, despite understanding no English. We got by with our limited Spanish but we could feel her frustration. She had the remote for the jacuzzi. Everyday you needed to ask to have it turned on. Often we would ask but had to wait until Raquelita returned to have warm water. When the timer went off, the same thing happened. When Raquel gave us her bill, we were each charged for an extra day, as well as the gasoline used for shopping. We did all of our own shopping except the initial trip. The food we purchased was shared by the staff. They took it home. We didn’t mind sharing, it was the same last year, but later when we saw the extra charges, we felt taken advantage of. Raquel must be paid in dollars, not pesos. This necessitated more trips to the ATM. The situation was awkward, making our last few days uncomfortable. Last year we paid all the charges and left a generous gratuity. It was worth every cent. This year though was quite different. Some of us cried when we had to say goodbye to Raquel and her family in 2017. Casa Panga is a lovely home. I hope these issues are resolved so that if you decide to visit, you can experience the 5 star experience we had in 2017.
Great place to Hang out and Relax. The Crew here is fantastic and makes the stay all the more enjoyable.
We had a wonderful time. Staff is amazing. Food is amazing. The views, Beach, everything was great. We highly recommend a stay at Casa Panga! Viva Mexico!
Stunning views, privacy, a little piece of paradise
We can't thank you enough for sharing your gorgeous home with us for my father's 70th birthday. We had plenty of room for our family of 15. From the moment we were picked up at the airport by Juan Carlos, we received top notch service. When we arrived at the Casa, we were shocked by all the beautiful details in your home. It was so gorgeously decorated and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The views of the ocean from the pool and patio are breathtaking. We saw humpbacks giving us a private show with their massive breaching and spouting everyday. My daughter especially enjoyed the wild donkeys roaming the beach from time to time. They came right up to her and let her pet them. Raquel, Marie, and Raquelita did an excellent job with our meals. Our favorite was the lobster dinner. My husband, brother in law, sons, and niece really enjoyed your boat during their deep sea fishing excursion. They said their boat captain was the best and he was the first one to all the spots. They caught marlin, and tuna, and saw many whales. We also enjoyed an excursion to Flora Farms, downtown San Jose, and horsebackriding. Juan Carlos was always available and accomodating for our excursions and airport transfers. Your private beach is a piece of paradise. The only thing I would recommend to future guests is to bring snorkel gear. There is nice snorkeling right off the beach. We saw trumpet fish and an eel and others I don't know by name. Thanks again for making this a very memorable 70th birthday and family trip.

Perfect family stay
We had 16 people for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary and Casa Panga was perfect! Gorgeous, clean, plenty of room and space to find time all together or in small groups. Great food and a wonderful spot to stay! THANK YOU!
This place is amazing. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway for a large group this is it.
The home is breath taking. The views and seclusion are relaxing. The bedrooms are located away from the common areas allowing you to escape whenever you want. Ford is incredibly helpful. He helped us out so much throughout the trip, including lining up transportation from the airport. The home will blow you away and the kindness and care we received from Raquel and everyone else was top notch. We felt right at home. The food was delicious. This was probably the best trip I've ever been on. And this house put it over the top.
Thanks so much for your kind words! So glad you guys had a good time and hope we can have you back again.
