A great place to stay in West Yellowstone!

  • 4 of 5

The cabin was clean and laid out well for 5 of us. It was very hot and there was no A/C! They will tell you that you don't need A/C up there but if you are from the South and you're going in July or August you will disagree. It does cool down at night but if you come in from a long hike in the afternoon and want to cool down, you have to wait for the sun to go down. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay immensely and would return to this cabin at another time of year. Everything we needed was there and Beth was ready to help in any way she could. It was a perfect place to stay to be close to Yellowstone every day. And Yellowstone was great, except for the thousands of foreign tourists that don't know how to be polite. We went to a different part of the huge Yellowstone National Park for 9 days and were never disappointed. In town, we went to the Playmill Theatre to see "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" and to the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center. They were both well worth the money and an absolute delight!

It was just ok

  • 3 of 5

First of all Beth was very attentive and easy to reach. The place had one really big issue and that is the parking. There is only 5 outdoor parking spots. If you have a larger vehicle you will not fit in the garage. I have a grand caravan with a roof rack and it was not possible to park in the garage. I had to call to find out where to park since all the spots were full. It was only a couple of blocks away but still made it inconvenient to not have access to my car. I would have liked to know this ahead of time. Also the bathrooms are very small. In one you can't open the shower door all the way because of the toilet. It is workable but certainly not ideal. Also the washer is in one bathroom and the dryer in the living room so hard to do laundry while people are sleeping. Overall the place was clean but I just didn't think the set up was ideal for the amount of the rental. I would try somewhere else if I were coming to the area again. The location does look wonderful for winter activities.

Owner's Response: Hi Stacy, We are sorry the unit didn't fit your needs perfectly. It is unfortunate that those vehicles that can fit into the 8 car garage sometimes don't choose to. With those 8 spots in addition to the 5 outside, there are more than enough spots for everyone in the building. We will make a greater effort to get people to do that so those arriving later, and with larger vehicles have somewhere close to park. The unit is ideally located with it's proximity to the village. We do hope you enjoyed your stay in Jackson despite your inconveniences. Sincerely, Beth

Nice Teton Village Stay

  • 5 of 5

My sister and I spent a week at this property and loved our stay here! The condo is well kept and has nice amenities. The bedrooms were large with enough closet space. The baths were small but adequate. It was nice to sit on the deck after a long hike and view the surrounding mountains. The location was great! Hiking trails are right outside your door. And it's only a 2 hour drive to Yellowstone. There is a nice pool with jacuzzis just 3 minutes down the street that soothed our sore muscles from hiking.

The only down side (which is no fault of the owner) is when tenants are in the condo above, it can be noisy whenever they move around, go to the bathroom, etc. But that shouldn't stop you from renting and enjoying this property. We hope to return again next year! Teton Village offers so much that this was a perfect place for us to stay!

recent visit

  • 5 of 5

Beth made the correspondence ahead of time so easy. She was quick to respond to any questions, and quite pleasant to deal with. Thank you, Beth!!

The outside building needs work - it was rather shoddy-looking and I was afraid of what we might find inside. But, no worries. The condo itself was very

clean and well-appointed. We were very comfortable in there, and had everything we needed. Bed linens were nice. Towels were fine. There was shampoo,

body wash, soaps for kitchen, etc. Nice western decor.

We would recommend this property to anyone, and stay there again.

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed your stay! The outside of the building is scheduled for an update this summer/fall so we will soon be up to date. Thanks so much for staying and we look forward to having you back!
