Lovingly restored in 2002 and 2003 by its owners, this 200-year-old cottage is nestled in a grove of Locust Trees, situated on the banks of Wellfleet's historic Duck Creek. The 3 bedroom, nook-filled home boasts rare views of the Duck Creek marsh and its wildlife, and gives vacationers a multitude of indoor and outdoor options for privacy and relaxation. A large kitchen provides everything needed to create a meal worthy of the home's formal dining room, yet it offers a comfy spot from which to enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee and a pastry from the bakery located right across the street.
Whether it's enjoying the nature from the home's 200 square foot screened in porch, relaxing in the backyard under shade-bearing trees, or sinking into any of the home's comfortable sofas, chairs or beds to read a book, the home affords amenities for young and old.

This property simply has it all. A walk to Wellfleet's galleries is simple. Parking the car and leaving it for days at a time is doable. Strolls in the national seashore are minutes away, as are the ponds and beaches. This is an absolute jewel of a home, which is located in Wellfleet's town center on the edge of Duck Creek.
Herons nest in the marsh behind the house, and the mellow tones of the town church bells help pass the hours and minutes at this home. A gentle breeze blows from Cape Cod Bay through Wellfleet Harbor directly to the home's backyard. Sunsets are beautiful from the back yard.
We stayed here with grandparents and kids. There was plenty of room for every body. The living room has a door and can be used as a 3rd bedroom. The dining room and large screened in porch offered plenty of room for people to gather and/or find their own quiet place for reading a book. Great kitchen and super charming design details throughout. Can't wait to return.
Such a great location for exploring all Wellfleet has to offer, restaurants, antiques, bookstores, and yummy seafood. The house is so cozy and relaxing, where you can unplug and take a break from it all. BUT, if you're like me and never unplug there is Wifi and speaker system to keep the music playing and your IG pics uploading! I would come back here every summer....such an amazing house to bbq, cook lobsters, read a good book, and just enjoy the season. Love it!
property was vey well maintained and cleaned. everything needed was present and location of house fantastic and close to water. enjoyed lounging out back on the hammock, bird watching and bicycling about town. looked through some great antique stores. can't wait to return!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Brad's beautiful home. The house is beautifully appointed with spaces for both relaxation and gathering with family and friends.
Convenient to town as well as a short distance to beautiful beaches and Provincetown, the location is perfect.
With wonderful memories of my vacation, I look forward to returning again soon!
This is an absolutely lovely home and Brad is similarly a fantastic host. The house is even better than the photos, with wonderful character and thought put into every room. Everyone's favorite room was the sun porch: it offered beautiful water views and had the best natural summer light - a great peaceful place to relax. The kitchen is a gourmet chef's fantasy with awesome appliances and a huge wooden island.
If you're not planning to cook, you're in luck because there are delicious restaurants and lobster rolls a hop and a skip away. Wellfleet is a super quaint town, and this house is in walking distance to restaurants, ice cream shops, lobster shacks, bike rentals, anything you would ever want out of a proper Cape Cod vacation.
Brad was super communicative leading up to our visit and even called to check in on us the day we arrived to make sure everything was up to par (and it was!) If you're looking for a pleasant booking experience, wonderful vacation home and a friendly host, then this is the place for you!
After a crazy period at work, I needed a get away from it all. Several friends and I decided this was the perfect get away to experience the Cape and to recharge. The secluded back yard and patio was perfect for early AM coffee or evening glass of wine and enjoying nature and friends. It was an easy walk both into town for wonderful meals or to the beach and seashore walks. The layout is great for families with kids, multiple couples or as we did, groups of friends (5 or 6). The house is well cared for and immaculately clean and in wonderful shape. If you have a car, the house is in an excellent location to see all of the Cape on day excursions - Provincetown, Chatham, Wellfleet, etc., I would definitely use the property again.
Audubon Bird Sanctuary, Old Kings Highway rutted roads in the national park, ponds and oceans all easily accessed from this in-town location!
