I just got back from a great week at this house.
My family found it so comfortable and relaxing. It was so great to have the pool.
The owner, Bill, is a very nice guy. He wanted to make sure that we enjoyed our stay and that we were comfortable.
Property is family friendly, comfortable, and recently renovated. Views are spectacular and can be viewed from decks that are in every room. Dog friendly is a big plus yet you would never know there were pets on the property previously since the home is professionally cleaned between rentals. Owner provides all bedding and towels. House well appointed. Have rented from owner for many years and he is available if issues arise to make sure your vacation is pleasant and enjoyable.

Beautiful Loveladies lagoonfront
Perfect situation on the north end of Loveladies. We really enjoyed this spacious house with a fantastic pool. Dock and views are exceptional and views from every bedroom and balcony are amazing. Enjoy biking to Barnegat Light and Holgate. Cyclist's paradise.
Charming house in perfect location!
We've been enjoying one or two weeks in this house every summer since 2006! We've been coming to the island with our children since 2001 and rented a few other houses before finally finding one we felt we could truly relax in.
It is perfectly situated on lovely street. Being on bay is amazing especially if, like us, you like to kayak or stand up board on calm waters. The beach is a short walk across the boulevard and very easy to access everyday.
The heated pool is an absolute delight, especially with kids because they can swim anytime, regardless of water temperature, rough seas or life guard coverage. It is always clean and well maintained during the week(s).
The house is always neat and clean and it is exactly as pictured. It is stocked with clean sheets and towels - which is a nice bonus. The furniture is comfortable without being too fussy. The appliances are all in good order. It is a very easy house to maintain and enjoy and still feel like you are on vacation.
Bill is a wonderful landlord. He is friendly and responsive but not at all intrusive. He does a wonderful job keeping the house well maintained and well run.
This was our 8th summer in this house and we plan on returning again and again!
Horrible condition for an upscale property
After years of wonderful experiences renting through VRBO, I was appalled at the condition of this house. While the setting and pool were spectacular, the house has been neglected for many years. My family was greeted by trash under the front steps and the back deck. The house smells like urine. the carpets, curtains and shower curtain were badly stained. The doors were difficult to open and close and doorknobs were falling off. The stair railing was loose due to a makeshift attempt to secure it. The kitchen supplies were bottom of the line, old and inadequate. There was not a decent can opener or other common kitchen utensils. Plates were chipped and glassware was insufficient. The beach chairs were unusable. The list could go on. When I complained to the owner it seems he corrected the size of the house in his ad (it read 4000 sq ft when I rented it) and said everything could have been fixed with better communication, which is far from the truth. The only things updated were the air conditioning and the flat screen TV. The DVD player did not work. He called basic maintenance, like replacing the siding and a broken refrigerator, upgrades. He offered a discount next year but refused any refund. Anyone who could charge the rental fee I paid for a house in this condition I would not want to rent from again. If you consider renting one of this owner's houses, I strongly suggest you visit it first.
Sorry that this tenant was so unhappy. Unfortunately the only call from the tenant was for cleaning of the Weber gas grill which the professional cleaners missed. I came over right away and cleaned it. Not sure why the DVD did not work but tenants subsequent had no problems. I investigated the smell issue and neither I or the professional cleaners nor the company that supplies linens nor the prior tenant could confirm. I can confirm that the actual square footage (not including large decks at the pool and decks for each bedroom) is about 2500 square feet total. Quite independent of the review, renovations that have been made for 2014 are a new kitchen, new bath and redone wood floors on first floor, and new floors (no more carpet) upstairs. Sorry that this tenant was so unhappy.
