The Coast House is located at the end of the paved road at the Southern tip of Southport Island. It is private and quiet except for the occasional event (usually a wedding) at Newagon Inn where music plays and stops at 10pm. The views include the Cuckold Lighthouse, Jerry's Island, Damariscove, and open ocean. A pier, float, and mooring are available. (Mooring access must be arranged in advance.)
The living room has knotty pine walls and an easy to maintain floor with braided rugs. There are two bedrooms: one has a queen bed, the other has 2 twin beds; both rooms have closets and dressers. The entry has the washer and dryer and plenty of hooks to hang jackets and sweaters. The kitchen is furnished with most everything you would need. (There seems to always be something in the kitchen that a household uses that didn't cross my mind.) The bathroom, although small, is clean and fresh. There is a stand-up shower but no tub.
I am pleased to say, to this day, I have not had anyone unsatisfied with their Coast House experience.
