We would like to thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful apt. The neighborhood is fantastic and we had a great time being here. Next time we come to the city we would love to stay again.
Pati was wonderful about responding to our questions and Hal was at the apartment to greet us. He answered all our "New York" questions! The apartment is in a wonderful location, everything you need is close by(great bagels on the corner). Central Park is only a few blocks away as are many great museums. We had a wonderful time...We ❤️ NYC!
Once again, my wife and I shared an extended vacation in this charming apartment. The place is great. The owner is friendly, professional, and quick to respond to phone calls. We love the neighborhood and have found several nice restaurants in the vicinity, including a favorite Italian one just two blocks away. I have recommended the apartment to friends, and been thanked for the recommendation. We look forward to our next visit. We don't even look at alternatives since finding this place.
This is our second stay in this apartment and, as before, we loved our stay in the apartment. The owners are a pleasure to deal with. The apartment is large by NYC standards and quiet. The apartment is clean, in a safe, wonderful location only a few minutes walk from the metropolitan museum, central park, etc. A grocery, pharmacy, tal's bagels, and other places to eat are right next door or across the street. cannot wait for our next stay!
The owner met us on arrival . He gave us all the info . We loved the apartment , quiet, comfortable , great bed ! It will go up into the wall , if you need more room ,
My wife and I just returned from celebrating our anniversary in NYC. We deemed our vacation an amazing success and a big reason for that is having stayed at this rental on the Upper East Side. Location, location, location. That says it all. We enjoyed the neighborhood, very walkable to a subway stop that puts you at Grand Central Station in no time. Three subway lines run north and south. On three consecutive days we rode to Wall Street and Bowling Green (adjacent to ferries to Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty} on express trains and were there in 30 minutes. Is easy to get to Times Square and Union Square as well. Central Park had many activities that we walked to, including a free evening concert by the NY Philharmonic. Yankee Stadium is easily 20-30 minutes away going north. We found a number of great places to eat close by, breakfasts and dinners. My wife found fun shopping in close proximity as well. Plus, not only is the Met close by but also a host of other excellent museums. In fact, one evening all the museums on Museum Mile opened their doors to the public. 5th Ave was closed to traffic. It was a very fun evening.
The apartment had all that we needed, a comfortable bed, a kitchen with full-sized fridge to store some treats and snacks, comfortable sofa and side chair, closets to hang all our clothes, and a decent bathroom met our needs.
This was a nice place to crash after spending all our days on the go. I will note that there is some street noise but you have to accept that you're in the city and it seems to never fully sleep.
We'd recommend a stay here and would be glad to return.
This lovely, little apartment has a comfortable bed, a great shower, plenty of closet space and hangers, a very usuable kitchen, and is three blocks from Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art! We couldn't have asked for more. My husband and I (in our late 60's) stayed for a full week and were very happy and satisfied. The halls in the building could use some freshening up, but over all, it's a great find.
