Lisa and Stephen Bosenberg purchased this condo in 2009
This property has all you could want in an Island getaway. We have beautiful sunsets, ocean and bay views, a beach and a tiki bar for hanging out.
Islamorada living has got to be the most peaceful on earth. It is a quaint but quiet village that provides some of the world's best fishing and diving. However being centrally located between Miami and Key West, you are never too far away from the action.
Very nice and comfortable condo in Islamorada, well furnished with all you need for a most pleasant stay. Good restaurants nearby and local Trading Post well stocked with items for in house meal preparation. Condo was very clean and detailed information provided by the owners was much appreciated. Best lunch was at the Beach Cafe at Morada Bay.
We chose this place because of the reasonable rates and all the amenities (bike, kayak, dock) so, many in fact we didn't use them all. It was nice to not have to pay extra money to kayak or bike around. The condo itself was centrally located between all the islands and a drive to either Key West or the Everglades was definitely reasonable. The view off the back patio was so relaxing and tranquil and the inside was very nice as well. I really couldn't ask for more. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, who is considering a vacation in the Keys.
If you are looking to be in the middle of the action, this would not be the place for you. OTOH, the Keys may not have been your best choice for a vacation destination, either.
My kids (19 and 20 years old) and I were looking for a place to stay while we were diving out of Key Dives in Islamorada. This condo looked perfect. It was about 6 minutes from the dive shop/boat which is why we picked the location.
I have to admit, we weren't looking for much more than a place to have breakfast and sleep. We were very pleasantly surprised when we got to the condo. It has been well maintained. The condo and all of the furnishings were clean and in great shape. We didn't do any cooking, but there were plenty of pots and pans and dishes, again, all in great condition.
There is a nice balcony overlooking a common area where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and/or a island beverage in the evening. Since it is facing Westward, you get a nice sunset view.
Lisa and Steve were quick to respond to communications and were made sure we had everything we needed to get there, get in and be comfortable.
Overall, just an excellent experience.
We stayed the week of Christmas 2015 and I guess we liked it because we immediately booked the week of Christmas 2016!
I think this is called a no-brainer since you can absolutely not go wrong staying here (except for Christmas) that is ours
It was the good reviews that sealed the deal when we booked this condo. And every word is true. The condo was everything we hoped for and more. It was like being at home. It had everything we could have possibly needed. It was the perfect location for site seeing in both directions in the Keys. We had a great time. Thank you Steve and Lisa.
The condo we rented at sandy cove from Steve and Lisa was exactly as advertised. ALL the comforts of home plus 40 degrees warmer than home. What's not to like? The wi fi worked perfectly. Not the case in other rentals we have had. The unit was plenty spacious for us and fully equipped with everything we could possible need. Would recommend it to anyone interested in staying centrally in the Keys
