An incredible cabin at a reasonable price

  • 5 of 5

From the moment we checked in, it was apparent to my entire group that this was going to be a spectacular weekend. Martin the owner was easy to get a hold of and extremely helpful when we had a question or needed something. Everything was in good shape and working perfectly, it housed 12 guys with no space issues. We hiked in the back yard, used the bikes to explore the city, and enjoyed everything this cabin had to offer. Would recommend this cabin to anyone and will be coming back in the winter for round 2!

WOW!!!

  • 3 of 5

This was a three generation family trip and was our first trip to Big Bear. What a treat we found with Mountain Villa. We were in awe walking into the main floor and seeing the architecture of this "cabin." The pictures posted just doesn't do the "cabin" justice. We had maximum occupancy with little ones ranging from 9 months to 16 years and we never felt as if we were crowded or we were stepping on each others toes. When we weren't out exploring, the pool table on the bottom floor kept the teenagers busy and the availability of netflix kept the little ones busy . There was still room for the adults to have some space as well. All that was needed for cooking, we found in the kitchen. The jacuzzi was an added bonus and was used every night. Will return to Big Bear again!

Beautiful Home with a Few Exceptions

  • 4 of 5

This home is gorgeous and easily accommodated our 4 families. We loved the ambience and the neighborhood.

Two reasons for giving 4-stars, not 5-stars:

1. Each night we saw a mouse which was unsettling to some in our party.

2. In all the info we received about the home, it said they provided courtesy bottles of shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. Yet, this home did not have even a single bar of soap in any of it's 4 bathrooms. This was super annoying as several of us didn't pack shampoo because we read this info. Also, they asked that we start a load of towels in the washing machine before leaving. We loaded all the towels only to find that there wasn't any laundry soap anywhere. The house was also nearly completely out of dish soap. For a $600/night, luxury home, these items should be standard and abundant.

All in all, we would more than likely return again. We loved the house and would just need to buy some mouse traps and bring lots of soap with us if we return.

Fantastic Spring Break!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our spring break in this beautiful home which had fantastic views from every floor in every direction. It was clean and wonderful and everything was in good working order. We loved having SONOS and being able to listen to music so easily. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals and there were plenty of places to spend time together or alone. The fireplaces were beautiful and warm, and having the wood provided is a very nice amenity - and a bargain. It was easy to get to town and the slopes. Everyone enjoyed the jacuzzi and star gazing. We enjoyed eating and playing games at the large table and recommend this home to anyone. We all loved it! Thank you for allowing us to vacation in your beautiful home!

GREAT CABIN!!!!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was immaculate! Beautiful inside and out with plenty of space for a big family getaway. My wife and I have visited Big Bear annually for over 13 years with a group of family and friends and we have stayed in many great homes. My wife believes this one to be one of the best. Believe me when I say that says a lot coming from her. LOL! The neighborhood is excellent and it's close to all the stores. Everyone loved it! I would only recommend that a big screen television be placed in the great room, given this is the most popular room for gatherings and entertainment. Other than that and the malfunction with the jacuzzi, everything was superb.
