Not your usual beach house!
Wonderful architecturally designed three story home, just down the lane from the beach.
There are four bedrooms each with it's own bathroom. Two masters have king size beds and one other has a queen and a captain's twin bed. The fourth is on the first floor with two extra long twin beds which can be pushed together and turned into a king size bed.
The Gourmet kitchen on the second floor is part of a great room with dining and TV viewing areas + a view of the ocean.
The top floor enclosed deck has a 360 view of the ocean and all of the town of Ventura.
The Kitchen/Great room opens to a balcony with ocean view. The gourmet kitchen with sub-zero refrigerator, Wolf gas/convection stove and large quartzite Island may inspire budding chefs to sample the year round fresh produce and fresh fish from our local markets. The large first floor TV/Game room with fireplace and couches has a large dining area that opens to a private fenced backyard with BBQ.
There is High Speed wireless Internet connection through out the house. Remember to bring your netflix or Amazon codes for access via our wireless blue ray connections.
For those with family members challenged by flights of stairs, we have a ground floor bedroom with two twin beds and a bathroom with shower just steps away.
We offer three TV's: a 52 inch TV in the family room, with wireless DVD. In the great room/kitchen we have a 42 inch HD TV with a wirelesss DVD.. and a small tv in the top floor master, all with DirectTV satellite connection.
In the garage we have two adult bicycles with helmets, two boogie body surfing boards, and a beach umbrella. We do have beach towels, the number changes according to whether guests take them with them.
We provide an immaculate home complete with fresh linens, hair dryers, and small hotel amenities (shampoo, soap, coffee, coffee filters, tea, TP, papertowels).
We sold our family home in So. CA and purchased our Ventura home in 2006. We also built a home in Truckee/ Tahoe as we love to ski and kayak. We completely rebuilt the beach house in 2008 from the sand up! We designed it to allow us to garden, swim, ocean Kayak, walk the usually empty beaches, and enjoy the wonderful low key environment of Ventura.
Owner/Property Manager purchased this house in 2006
When we chose our beach house we loved the location, not right on the sand but close enough to allow us to see the ocean and hear the waves crashing on the sand. Our lane does not allow street parking and has very well kept homes. It is known as one of the quietest lanes in Ventura.
Because we redesigned and built our home to allow us to be open to the outdoors but also have privacy we have a feeling of seclusion as well as being very close to all that Ventura and the beach has to offer. We have a clear view of the Channel Islands and the whitewater. At night we hear the ocean waves crashing.
Situated on a quiet, narrow lane, the Pierpont Beach house is beautifully designed and superbly constructed. It's about eight houses down the street to the beach (which, due to the No Parking rules is virtually deserted).
The house is as clean as a whistle and indeed smells like a new house. There are two master suites, each with its own bath and two other bedrooms, one next to a half bath and the other (downstairs) bedroom has its own smaller bathroom. Both master suites feature luxurious bathrooms. The upper story bedroom has a whirlpool bath, double sinks, a glassed-in shower stall and a walk-in closet.
The great room features a beautiful kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances, a dining table and a TV viewing area. There's a veranda with a beach view just off the great room. There's a also a large rooftop deck with ocean views.
The bed linens are top-notch and the sheets were very nice.
We went with our neighbors and our collection of five elementary school kids. The house easily accommodated all 9 of us comfortably. The kids had a great time riding their bikes along the beach bike path and rolling down the dunes.
The managers were very helpful. A great place to stay.
This home was beautiful, spotless , fully equipped and spacious. Also the location was perfect, steps from the beach, short walk to the park, pier, restaurants . The owner,Evelyn was vert sweet and easy to work with, as was her property manager, Ingrid. I will definitely stay there again!!
This lovely home is only steps away from a great beach. Owner's thought of everything you might need for a beach vacation. Kitchen (grill) had everything you could possibly need to feed a large family. Large family room in the lower level is great for teens to watch movies and play video games. Roof top deck was a nice quite spot for a glass of wine at the end of the day. NOTE: This is a tri-level house so if stairs are an issue this might not be the spot for you. All the main living and 2 bedrooms are on the 2nd floor, so worst case you are 1 flight of stairs to get in/out of the house. Also this house is close to the pier, close to downtown, close to the marina.. it's REALLY centrally located.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Brockton Lane. At our "largest" we were 7 and 7/9 people, ranging from almost 2 to 72...plus a nimble 13 year old dog. Even our very pregnant daughter in law could handle the steps as well as the short walk to the beach. the location was excellent and interior room gave us both private space ( and quiet) as well as public. indeed, we had our family photos for our 50th anniversary taken in the private garden. one special note...so often photos are taken with a wide-angle lens and one is disappointed with the actual size. --- if anything the attractive and super clean rooms were bigger than expected. An excellent choice for a most pleasant gathering.
I lived in Ventura, met and married my northern california husband there, and left the area in 1992. I have a relative who still lives in Ventura and visit about once a year. This year we decided to get our families together and this house could not have been more perfect. We are three families (one who lives in Santa Barbara so did not overnight with us) ages 5 through 57. There was something for everyone! The young ones loved the closeness to the beach. The bogie boards. The sun deck. We oldies took long walks to the end of the pier and back. We dined at restaurants along the Promenade and had moon lit romantic walks back to the house. Big meals, outdoor barbarque, quiet time in the reflection garden. Long baths in the airjet tub. Everyone had private space but plenty of room when we all came together. Superbly decorated and stocked. Five stars all the way!
Lovely house in quiet location close to the beach. Internal finish excellent, well equipped with all the appliances you could ever need. Family had a great time, even if the weather was a little cooler than expected.
10 minute walking distance on the beach to restaurants.
7 minute drive to town of Ventura and it's attractions.
10 minutes to Amtrak railroad station.

Our lane has found it necessary to institute a neighborhood watch. Renters will lose their security deposit if they disturb the peace. It must be quiet after 10pm. There can be no loud parties on the beach or the police are called. There can be no loud loitering on the lane or loud partying on our 3rd story deck.
