The views are simply breathtaking. No matter where you are on the balconies you will see unbelievable beauty. This area is surrounded by parks, great food and activities that you will not have enough time to enjoy. So many species of fish are right in front of my home. If you love to fish, surf, para sail, collect shells, sun bathe, swim or just lay on a beach chair, Flagler Beach is the place to be. You will want to travel to Daytona Beach to see the speedway or maybe St. Augustine, the oldest city in the USA. Either one you choose is only 30 minutes away from your vacation home. Don't forget Disney is no more than 1 hour away, maybe a little longer depending on the theme park. Aquariums is must stop for the kids. Marine-Land is only 15 minutes away. It is considered to be one of the best in our country. Learn about our local whales, yes we have these awesome visitors often. If you are lucky you may see the Right Whale give birth in Flagler Beach itself. What a sight !!!
Keywords: This 3700 square foot three story luxury home is fully air conditioned equipped with three compressors. The elevator will allow the disabled to enjoy each floor and the balcony views. There are many parks to enjoy biking, fishing, sailing, trail walking and whale watching. Many amenities are a little more than one year old. We now have WIFI and over 250 TV channels, many in HD.
I am still working full time in N.J. My intention was to retire in pristine Flagler Beach.
Situations change sometimes so for now I decided to become a legal short term landlord in paradise. My home is furnished with higher end furniture as my intention was to move in. You will soon discover the furnishings are not the typical type one would purchase to rent. Lazy boy sofas and chairs, higher end mattresses and all stainless steel appliances. I do visit my home monthly so I am still extremely involved and enjoying the fine weather, great food and unbelievable views. The fishing is spectacular.

I wanted Old Florida. After years of traveling Florida I was about to give up. One day I decided to explore northeast Florida and what a discovery it was. I searched for a lot with the most palm trees in front and built my dream home. My dream came true.
Two hour flight I am in a different world.
My own beach.
Serenity and reflection.
The love of nature and wildlife.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in your home at Flagler Beach. Your home is beautiful, the weather was good, and the waves on the beach were up which pleased the kids. Lots of fishing and lots of beach time for the our kids and grandkids. I'm not much of a "beach guy" myself but I enjoyed kicking back and getting in plenty of reading while we were there. We made several excursions to see Fort Matanzas and on up to St. Augustine as well as the restaurant scene around Flagler. I especially appreciated Jill's attentiveness and promptness in attending to the air conditioning problem we experienced on the the top floor. The repairman was out to check things within an hour after I notified her that it wasn't working properly. Evidently it was only a minor adjustment as it was working fine in a short time. Jill also made a point of alerting me as soon as possible that my granddaughter had left behind a (special) blanket and kindly returned it to me. Thanks also for the complimentary pastries and the coupon for the bakery and restaurant where Linda and I enjoyed breakfast on our last full day. We will certainly keep your home in mind when planning future vacations in its part of Florida.
I am glad you were pleased with how we left the home. We always make every effort to treat wherever we stay as if it were our own.
Take care and our best wishes to you and your family.

My family and I arrived on Sat June the 11th and were greeted by Kristine who was very personable and so sweet. She gave us a tour of the house and showed us how to work the elevator which my husband would be using and we were just in awe of how luxurious the house is set up. We all had a great week and thoroughly enjoyed the cross over bridge to the beach. I had such a great time staying in this house and so did my family. The grocery was only a short drive from the house and we all enjoyed the farmers market on the week-end and also the assorted shops.
Thank you all for making this the best vacation every. May you all be blessed for all you do to make our week so special.
Thank you again,
Michele and family
This was a perfect spot for a relaxing vacation with our grown children. The house was comfortable, clean and very equipped. The brand new, private crosswalk directly across the street made beach access simple! It was so easy to go back to the house for lunch or whatever we needed. We cooked most nights, but also enjoyed some of the great seafood places. Publix is less than a mile away. Rich was kind enough to provide paper products, laundry supplies, spices, etc. We loved watching the sunrise from the balcony. The beach was not crowded at all and we were fortunate to have perfect weather. The ocean breeze was very relaxing. The game room downstairs provided lots of entertainment. It was a great atmosphere for my son to continue to study for the MCAT and get in some needed study breaks. If you are looking for a spot to recharge and make memories, this fits the bill. Thank you to Rich, Jill, and Christine for helping to make sure we had a wonderful time!
We spent a week here in the spring of 2015 for our 20th anniversary.
We had 11 family members but never felt on top of each other.
What a gorgeous home in a perfect location. It felt so private, but we could walk into town.
Rich has it set up to be so welcoming. He thought of everything!
From the beachfront views to a fabulous playroom (the home of many evening pool and foosball tournaments!), this house has everything anyone could ever need!
First of all I would like to thank Rich for such a perfect relaxing week!! This house is more then a rental house it felt like home the moment we stepped in. The house's floor plan was perfect in such away even with 11 people it never felt over crowded or got that feeling of to "much family time". We flew into Tampa just to save money on the airline tickets the drive was almost to much for the kids ( 3 hours) But we found it just right time to Orlando for Disney and Sea World only 1.5 hours not to bad we got both worlds the ocean and Orlando. OK back to the house it had enough towels, beach toys, spices, games, dishes bedding in the house for an Army!!! The rooms where more then we could of ever asked for the beds where the most comfortable bed I have ever been on. I even looked to see what kind of mattress they where. LOL. We loved to sit on the decks both of them to watch the waves come in and out as we drink coffee in the morning there . I was lost the whole week in the house! I was always asking myself is this the floor with the washer? is this the floor with the game room? Is this the floor my parents staying on? SO BIG! I could go on and on about this house but I will stop all I have to say is we rent a house ever year thru Homeaway and this one is our FAVORITE HAND DOWN!!!! This was the 1st family trip with my parents since I was a child and I will never forget and I know everyone has the same feeling a big part was this house. Rich you have such a peaceful house. We also ended up playing a board game for 6 hours on afternoon that was a memory maker afternoon!! Nice to have those games so all ages can spend time together. We LOVE LOVE Flagler!! We walked to all the restaurants we never drove to any restaurants we did got to the grocery store a few times. The kids loved the beach we are from NM and we always take a trip to a small coast town ever summer just for the water and Flagler beach was AWESOME!! We did an extra beach day just because it was so nice yes we skipped Universal Studio just to stay in the water an extra day.. Do not get me wrong a few days it was really rough so those days we went into Orlando, but over all the beach was right up there on our list. The boys fished on the pier (walking distance) with 2 fishing poles in the garage that came in handy, they ended up catching some small sharks!! We are ready to go back to this perfect house!! Thank you Rich we are blessed to find such a perfect house!! The Waldrop Family
We loved the house/location so much last year, we brought family and friends along this year for a two week stay. It is a great place for three or four couples to share expenses, or for an extended family. The elevator is a real help for hauling luggage and for anyone with bum knees, hips, etc., and the balconies offer an interesting and lovely view. Rich is great to work with and has two local people, Jill and Kristine, who are excellent as well. Rich left the house very well stocked for the number of people we had staying with us. The beach is fun though the water was too cold in February even for hardy northerners. Our grandson had a great time using the beach toys Rich provides. There are lots of nearby beaches and parks for short or long walks. The Farmers Market on weekends is an interesting place for more than just veggies. Nearby St. Augustine is a fun, history-laden city complete with sailing ships. For those interested in NASCAR, Daytona Beach is also close. Cape Kennedy is also within easy reach for those fascinated by the space program. Flagler Beach lacks the huge crowds we encountered both up and down the coast, so it is a great relaxing place to stay.
Our mother was from Saint Augustine, Florida, so my brother, sister and I had spent our whole lives going in and out of Saint Augustine. We wanted to get our three families together in one house to celebrate the holidays just like we used to do when mom and dad were alive.
We chose this beautiful house and are so glad we did! Rich and Jill made us feel as if we had come home! The house was decorated for Christmas, including stockings hung on the mantle, poinsettias throughout the downstairs family room, a Christmas tree fully decorated and a decorated palm tree :) !!!!
Our children (or should I say our young adults) loved the downstairs game room and even filled up the air mattresses and made it their bedroom too!!!! The actual bedroom on the main floor became the resting placed for all their luggage!
The adults all gathered on the main floor in the living, dining and kitchen area which was perfect for family time--it was the central place we gathered throughout the week we were there. We grilled out on the balcony on that main floor several times during the week. It was an easy flow back and forth to the kitchen and the gathering area.
The 3 bedrooms on the third floor were the "adult" floor---the balcony up there was made for sitting, relaxing and looking at the ocean.
We would definitely go back and enjoy Rich's home again! Thank you Rich for a perfect Holiday!!
