About Margaret Denney
We have lived in Santa Fe since 1993. As architects and artists, we love the aesthetic appeal of Santa Fe's unique historic district and chose to live in this neighborhood because of that. Santa Fe's small town atmosphere combined with its wide range of cultural opportunities fits our lifestyle. We also appreciate the natural beauty of the area and the easy access to hiking, cycling, and winter sport opportunities.
Margaret Denney purchased this Cottage in 2007
Why Margaret Denney chose Historic Eastside
We think this location is simply the best in Santa Fe. Our guesthouse is tucked away in a lovely private compound in a beautiful, unique neighborhood, and provides easy access to all that Santa Fe has to offer.
What makes this Cottage unique
One reason we chose to live in this spot is because we love to walk around Santa Fe. From our home we are minutes (on foot) from Canyon Road, the Downtown Subscription, the Plaza, museums and all of the shops, galleries, restaurants, and homes along the way.

This property, located along the acequia madre, is beautifully appointed inside and out. Tastefully decorated interior space with tended flower and herb gardens surrounding the entrance was welcoming and most comfortable Poppies and peonies bloomed continuously! We walked to Canyon Road restaurants, galleries and a great coffee shop, The Subscription, just down the way. The Teahouse restaurant was a great find. All just a short walk away.
This is perfect for 2 people but 4 can stay. The living area/kitchen/dining area is a large beautiful space. Clean and inviting. Easy walk to Canyon Road and The Tearoom. Very short drive to Sun Mountain trailhead and the plaza. Great location. Would like to stay here again.
We loved our stay at the Casita. Everything in the Casita was as described in the listing. The kitchen had everything we needed. Our daughter stayed for a couple nights and the pull out sofa was comfortable. The location is ideal. Very quiet and an easy walk from the Casita to many of the attractions, especially Canyon Road. We hope to stay there again some day.

Ken is more than cooperative. Our casita was located along a quiet road in the most desirable part of town. Very happy with our choice.
