It looks very comfortable and cozy from the outside. Not that far into the community area

We stayed from Feb 17-19, the house is very well kept and clean. There are many amenities in the house such as dish washer, washer and dryer, & fireplace that is awesome! There's an array of dvd movies to choose from which is a great little addition to your stay. You can tell that George takes very good care of the house. Most electric stoves take forever to heat up and cook the food but the stove was great. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, cups, utensils as well as garbage bags & disposable plates and cups. There is also a spice cabinet, although we brought our own and left behind the cups & plates as well as garbage bags we didn't use. The rugs felt very nice! There are alot of extra linens in the closet as well as paper towels and toilet tissue. He also provides bar soap, and the bathrooms are very beautiful. They are newly renovated! There's one in the larger bedroom and another inbetween the 3 rooms towards the back. It was six of us that went & we fit comfortable, although i don't suggest anything more than six people because there are 2 bedrooms that have bigger beds that 2 people could share and then there's two smaller rooms with twin beds,

Unless you're considering air matresses.

Its only 20 mins away from camelback mountain and about 25-30 mins away from a walmart and the outlets.

I would deff recommend staying here!

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

The property and home are in excellent condition and just as described. I agree with the other reviewers - plenty of room for our group. George was a kind host who was responsive to any questions. We enjoyed our vacation very much! For a few days we had 4 adults and 3 teens and never felt crowded. My favorite was the master bedroom and shower - amazing! The linens were clean and plentiful. Same with blankets and pillows. Home was quite clean and comfortable. Wifi and AC worked well which is a requirement for my crew :) The community is close to many stores and activities. We enjoyed attending the Friday night BBQ and the teens even participated in the water slide (a slip and slide on a hill).

A few words about the Locust Lake Village Community - it is a beautiful community with 3 lakes to choose from. We stayed in the summer and the LLV website was helpful but not all activities apply to renters. Our stay was mid August. This is what we noticed: the concession stands weren't open every day. There didn't seem to be a schedule. The beaches were clean and not crowded. You can get horseshoes from the lifeguards but not any other sports equipment. Bring your own volleyball. Archery Range is for members only. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Shuffleboard equipment only available when concession stand is open. Plenty of clean picnic tables and shade.

Thank you George!

Fantastic Getaway Home

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed at this house quite a few times now, and I have nothing but positive things to say about it. George maintains this property as if it was his main home and I always have a wonderful time. Everyone that I have brought up to this house has been very impressed. Love this place!
