Studio situated in a garden setting in a quiet residential neighborhood yet close to everything. UCB, BART and all shopping.
The Bonita Studio is beautiful and well-appointed, with every detail thought out to make ones stay comfortable and pleasing. The studio is a great place for working or relaxing; it is very private and quiet, yet only a very short walk from shops and restaurants. The garden is lovely, a little oasis of greenery and gorgeous flowers. The owner is attentive to her guests needs, and goes out of her way to make sure that everything is as it should be. I wholeheartedly recommend the Bonita Studio!
Everything about Bonita Studio is just right. A lovely studio, it has become my home-from-home in Berkeley; this was my third visit, and it was as delightful as ever. It combines a quiet and convenient location (easy walking distance to UC Berkeley, local ‘gourmet’ food shops, and bus/BART transport) with comfortable, spacious, and light and bright living accommodation, attractively furnished and with well-equipped kitchen space. Best of all, the studio opens into a private deck area for sitting, working or eating outside, surrounded by plants and flowers. The owner is welcoming and helpful, and studio is ideal for single visitors or couples. If you are visiting Berkeley, this is definitely the place to be!
The studio is beautifully designed for comfort, practicality, and aesthetic pleasure. Every detail has been considered. It is clean. The bed is very comfortable. There is a beautiful garden and a private deck. The studio is in a quiet residential part of Berkeley, a short walk from the restaurants of the Gourmet Ghetto and very convenient for food-shopping, with two supermarkets nearby, and a farmers' market one day a week. A wonderful place to stay, and good for working. The owner is thoughtful and attentive. I wholeheartedly recommend the studio for a short or long stay.
This place was all I ever dreamt for as a home away from home. I loved sitting on my sunny yet shady mini-deck so much it was difficult to tear myself away for sightseeing or to go to the office. But if you do go out, you are minutes away from the famous Cheesboard, and all the other restaurants, shops and zipcars in the area. The studio has everything you need to be comfortable, provided in a tasteful and quiet way, and a few touches of elegance, with no clutter. The owner is very welcoming and attentive and made me feel at home right away. If you like to work at home, like I do, you will appreciate the good sized table that can be used as desk, the fast wireless, bookshelf, and the french windows that open wide to your own secluded garden.
This turned out to be a lovely place to stay in Berkeley. The studio is aesthetically pleasing, very clean, well maintained, equipped with all you need and situated in a highly desirable part of town within walking distance of good restaurants, shops and not far from the University. I highly recommend it: the owner provides excellent service, is hospitable and has good suggestions for visitors. The gardens were especially beautiful and it was a real treat to have lemons from a tree just outside the studio. We could not have been happier with our choice.
A lovely studio flat which was extremely clean and well equipped. I especially appreciated the warm welcome and small personal touches such as fresh flowers. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Berkeley.
