Paradise Valley!

  • 5 of 5

When we arrived, there were two mule deer welcoming us. Yes, this is a‘Paradise Valley’- Snow capped mountains, open space, deer, elk and abundance of wildlife. People are country nice, fresh crisp air, dazzling stars and no sales tax in MT! We fell in love with Montana. There is a main road in front of the property, so there is some noise and electric wires is in sight. But it’s not in the middle of nowhere, where we could have a problem and need help, like snowed in or emergency. This place is in the heart of small charming town, Emigrant and located walking distance to all places. So..., that’s your choice, either very remote or convenience. You can’t have it both ways. We are totally happy with this place. Luckily we had no snow(one week prior to our visit, snow was reported.) and we had perfect weather. When you go to see the wildlife in Lamar Valley, get up early. We left the house at 5:00am. When you drive to the North entrance in the dark, you must be very alert not to hit any animals. We encountered one elk of a heard crossing the road who decided to stop in the middle of our lane. Thank God for my husband being alert and good brakes! The next day we left at 6:00AM and it was just light enough to see. Early morning May temp in Yellowstone 22 deg. Watching Yellowstone waking up is worth the early rise! It also allows you time to return early and enjoy a nap before a relaxing dinner. Chico Hot spring is a must go place. After soaking in the mineral pool for hours, my husband’s knee pain had gone for days.We also enjoyed dinner, music and dance at their Saloon. We lost our way a bit on the way back because it’s too dark to see anything(We love it!). We missed our turn which made three minutes drive to six minutes drive, big deal. When you arrive at this townhouse, first thing I recommend you to do is to open all the drawers and closets to check all the inventory. Thus, you don’t have to purchase unnecessary goods and food. Drew’s water is very good. Please refill your bottle. Don’t purchase bunch of plastic water to protect environment. When my husband talked to Drew on the phone, I asked as if they have a waffle maker (It seems like a trend to have a maker in hotels or condos in this area). He said unfortunately not. Later on, he emailed us he got one for us. Ha!. So brand new waffle maker and even mix were waiting for our arrival. Thanks, Drew. We enjoyed a nice lazy brunch the following morning. I like people who doesn’t stop improving.

Felt Like Home!

  • 5 of 5

My family of four stood here in August 2015. The home was just as described. Every comfort of your own home and more. Incredibly roomy for a 2 bedroom home. The bathrooms were huge and well kept. The owner was excellent with communication and instructions on how to arrive to the home. The park was about 25 minutes away, which added more opportunities to enjoy the wildlife, as we would encounter elk mostly on the drive to the park. Impeccably kept, and every single comfort of your own home.

(P.S. I know the review is almost a year overdue, however, I really had to leave some kind remarks to such a pleasant accommodation and vacation we had)

The best place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this place for 5 nights, and we couldn’t have stayed in a better place. The townhouse is very spacious; it has everything and more of what you might need. It was very nice to have extra blankets, extra towels, extra everything. The house even has Wii for the use of their kids. The house administrator, Drew, was extremely amiable and always available for any questions we might have.

Emigrant is 30 minutes away from Yellowstone west entrance, but it didn’t matter because the landscape is gorgeous, and the sensation of arriving to a cozy home is great. There is a local general store about 3 minutes away, that has everything you might need.

We would definitely recommend this place!

Great stay in Emigrant.

  • 5 of 5

Great townhouse. It was very well stocked. The folding chairs and coolers allowed us to save money by packing lunches and having picnics in the park every day. Bedding was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Great location as well. Outstanding bakery right down the street, gas station and general store right across the road and only 30 minutes from the park.

Spacious place - very well stocked

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here while visiting Yellowstone NP. The condo was so spacious and it was so well stocked that one needs to come here just with their clothes. It is literally set up to be a home away from home. Condo is very clean and impeccably maintained.

Beautiful Place

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this townhouse while visiting Yellowstone National Park. We had plenty of room for all 5 of us. The kitchen was beautiful and stocked with everything we needed and more. For hiking, there was Bear Spray provided along coolers, picnic blanket. We took advantage of the park and also local hikes and Chico Hot Springs. Drew was very helpful in providing us information about the area and the park. We had a great experience!!
