A welcoming place with an amazing view.

  • 5 of 5

This retreat was by far one of the best places that we have stayed at while in Washington for our 9 day vacation. The views are spectacular and the home itself is so welcoming. We enjoyed our nights on the deck watching the stars and our mornings watching the sun come up. The owners were so nice and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting this area.

Thanks for the Quick Response!

Beautiful cabin for a retreat, great views and well stocked utensils in the kitchen. We had already booked and paid for a different cabin for the weekend but the property was cancelled last minute by the owner so we had to scramble and find a different one. We came across the Eagles nest through a referral and the owners were so accommodating and we were able to save our weekend! Definitely a one of a kind location, the fireplace on the deck was a great bonus so we can enjoy the view and keep warm. Recommending to many friends!

A Return Visit

  • 5 of 5

We are so happy that we were able to return to Eagle's Nest for part of our trip to Washington. The home was just as we had remembered it, just as comfortable and relaxing. We spend a lot of time hiking on our trips, and there are several great places to go with the cabin as "home base." This time we hiked up Mt. Townsend and went to Murhut Falls, which is a very pleasant hike to a beautiful waterfall. We also spent one day just hanging around the house, playing games, resting and relaxing on the deck.

Room with a View

  • 5 of 5

The house had everything we needed. Perfect size for the 3 couples that stayed. Beautiful view from the deck, great place to have your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. We even saw Eagles fly by, hence the name. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. Great beach access. Could not of asked for more. We were so busy crabbing, getting oysters, muscles and steamers we didnt even get to use the fireplace on the deck but were able to enjoy our awesome bounty for dinner with a view to die for. It was so relazing and welcoming. I would highly reccomend this place. A very fair reasonable price. The owners were awesome to correspond with. I would not hesitate to stay again. A weekend just did not seem long enough. The loft upstairs was great. I so enjoyed waking up to the sun coming through the windows. So glad we found this Gem of a hideaway.

Perfect spot for a relaxing weekend away!

  • 5 of 5

I came here for a Mom's Weekend with a few of my friends, and the house was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed evenings by the fire watching movies, mornings sipping coffee on the deck and admiring the views, and afternoons reading books or playing games at the dining room table and listening to the fantastic collection of music. FYI - it's a steep walk down to the water's edge, and you can't really see the shoreline from the house. Bonus: we found a little grocer to the north that had fresh local produce, which was a pleasant surprise! The owner was very easy to work with and answered all of our questions. I will definitely be back, both with friends, and with family.

Peace and Quiet

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at the Eagle's Nest on our annual clamming trip and had a wonderful time. The property allowed us the conveniences of home while still getting away. The cabin is right on the beach and the kids loved swimming, looking for shells and starfish during low tide, and playing with the little crabs. The adults loved cooking, watching movies, enjoying the view and playing games such as cards and scrabble. The owners are very friendly and professional. The property is clean, stocked with just about anything you would need for a short stay and very affordable.
