Thank you so much for the best accomodations on Beaver Lake! The view, the house, the location--everything was perfect for our valentine getaway and we really enjoyed the stay.
We hope to visit again & explore the area.

PS Love the decor!!!
We stayed five nights, and it was awesome. What I can add to the other reviews is that the kitchen is way above average and very usable - high quality cooking pans, and decent knives. the decor is really nice, too. There's also a grill on the deck that overlooks Beaver Lake. It's an awesome view. We spent three days at a golf tournament just 25 minutes from here but it's so close to everything else you would want to do in the Rogers/Bentonville area. If you want to swim in Beaver Lake, it's just a 5-minute drive to a wonderful recreation area that features picnic tables, camping ground and a swimming area. It's also close to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville and the Museum of Native American History, also in Bentonville. Two great places to spend time when the heat and humidity is too much. This is a beautiful area with lots to offer, and this is a great place from which to do everything. There were only two of us but a family with children would have a great time here with the pool table and two extra beds.We will return in the future and plan on using it as our home base to explore the area more.
First off, this apartment is great if you are alone, a couple, or even a family of five as we are. Truly a retreat feel but close to everything. My husband and I came back to this area to show our kids where we had lived our first 5 years of married life, and where our first was born. We drove up, parked, and before even going in saw gorgeous Beaver Lake stretching out beyond an expansive backyard that the kids spent every day in! Deer visited, a little rabbit, and a box turtle made its debut in our family photo album. The apartment itself is amazing-being a Razorback alumni, it was fun to see the adorable refrigerator and art canvas on the wall! Besides, even if you aren't it adds to the fun of the area! There is a pool table, kitchen, deck, 3 beds, living area, and dining area. It felt and looked brand new, and you never feel like anyone else is there, even though you are staying in the lower level of the house. The stairs leading up to the house are designed well, so it doesn't feel like the apartment is truly part of the house. It feels like your own. The deck outside is private and served as the perfect viewing spot while our kids staged a Nerf War and got excited when they saw a beaver, which we told them was actually a nutria. One the deck in the evening, one of our children exclaimed, "I see a flash! There's another one! What's that?" It dawned on us that our West Texas kids had never had the opportunity to see fireflies! It's usually too dry for them there and there isn't enough dense vegetation. So, an added special moment was the barrage of questions and wonder (and impromptu entomology lesson) this brought to them. Our youngest decided to pretend it was elf magic.
We would definitely stay here again as soon as we come back to the area. It's close to the rivers we love canoeing on, easy to visit Eureka Springs and Branson from, and a quick skip north to Bella Vista or south to Fayetteville and the numerous other towns to see. Amazing places to eat and numerous breweries are nearby. We did not want to leave! Lore' would once in a while check in to make sure all our comforts were met and the temperature was just right. She is an incredibly welcoming host with an apparent eye for beauty, as noted in her decorating skills and yard work! It was the perfect place to show our kids the area where our family story began so many years ago. We truly have no complaints and think it is the best Homeaway experience yet! Thanks for an amazing vacation.
My husband and I decided to get away for New Year's Eve/New Years Day - not necessarily the best time to choose a lake location but the weather cooperated - and it was perfect. Great location - close enough to everything we planned to do. We stayed two nights, grilled outside on the awesome deck/balcony both nights in lieu of finding some crowded restaurant. The kitchen was well stocked - we forgot coffee (yikes) but there was a whole crock of coffee there waiting for us. The owners thought of everything.
The space was cozy and comfortable - lots of space to spread out. And the view was stunning - there are windows on the whole lake side and it is beautiful. We were also very taken by the cleanliness of the whole apartment - especially the bathroom. The bed and pillows were great and the linens and towels high quality.
The pool table was a great added attraction - we hadn't played pool in years and it was great fun. We also enjoyed the high quality stereo system - bring your CDs and enjoy being surrounded by great sounds.
We spent time at the wonderful Crystal Bridges Museum and walking the lovely trails on their grounds and into downtown Bentonville. We look forward to exploring more in and around the lake the next time we return.
I guess you can tell that we totally enjoyed our time at the getaway. We hope to be back soon.
We stayed two nights and it worked out perfect. Wish we had more time to explore the variety of things Rogers has to offer. Loved the location, it was quiet, and the owner went above and beyond making sure it fit my needs. Since I was coming for a certain reason I was trying to get close to a particular location. Owner drove the distance between her place and my location just to make sure it was close and worked for my needs. The place is very relaxing, easy to find, has all you need for cooking, plus an outside grill. You will want to stay in sometimes because the view is awesome. I needed wheel chair accessibility for my parent and it worked out well. Very clean and I absolutely loved the vibrant colors of the walls, and the detail to the way the place was decorated. The pictures are just as it looks. The Murphy bed and the futon are separated by a curtain for privacy. This also makes it easy for dressing in your area and not needing to occupy the bathroom if there are several people in your party. Really hoping to get back for another visit. While this location is about 20 minutes from the mall....that is what makes it perfect. Close enough to go if you want, but not all the traffic if you don't. The highway is a scenic route which is extremely close. Restaurants close by, we enjoyed "The Log Cabin" for lunch...but the menu for breakfast looked great too. Downtown is very close by and has lots of little shops etc. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.
Beautiful view! Perfect place to say! We stayed three nights at this home for a girls' getaway. Loved the view and the deck! Hoping to be able to visit again soon. Would definitely stay here again!
Each spring and fall the Ozark Hills come alive with the sights, sounds and smells of the War Eagle Mill Antique & Craft Show. There is no better place to stay than the Get-A-Way, just 10 miles from War Eagle Mill.
