Villa, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths + al fresco shower (Sleeps 7-9)
A secluded, private oceanfront villa with stunning 360 degree views of the Caribbean sea, lush valley and mountains. Unique open air architecture to allow you to truly enjoy the Caribbean breezes and extraordinary views. Staff of 3+ - all cooking, cleaning, laundry is provided. Private beach, stereo, etc. Truly a paradise for 2-3 couples, 6 friends or a family or two. Shower al fresco in Les Chaudieres' outdoor shower room!
Les Chaudieres sits on a promontory above the Caribbean Sea and the Anse Galet valley and beach, with cooling breezes, panoramic views of tropical mountains and the sea. The private beach is just below and you can hear the surf. Hike a trail down to enjoy this private beach and great snorkeling, or drive around in 2 minutes. All beaches on St. Lucia are public property, but Anse Galet has no commercial or residential development on it.
You will want to explore the island some, but Christy's amazing cuisine will keep beckoning you back to home. Although the purchase/cost of groceries and beverages are not included, Christy and her staff will plan menus with you and turn out Caribbean feasts you will long remember. And all the cleanup is taken care of, so you hardly have to lift a finger.

Our parents built this home starting in the late 1960s on a promontory above the Carribbean Sea on St. Lucia to take full advantage of the panoramic ocean, mountain and lush valley views and breezes. We'd love to share it with you!
Dee purchased this Villa in 1968
Why Dee chose Anse La Raye Quarter
This location is very private but a picture perfect spot to either do nothing but R&R or to explore every inch of the island, or some variation in between.
What makes this Villa unique
Les Chaudieres offers a private setting, a pool, full staff, quiet beach with great snorkeling and diving, nearby restaurants (if Christy's wonderful cooking doesn't keep you close to home!).

A wonderful place to stay and visit.
We had a wonderful time, the house and staff were fantastic, and the location was perfect for us.
Thank you to the owners for sharing their family home! Wonderful architecture and landscaping so well done to capture the all this unique, private, spacious peninsula has to offer in terms of views and more views. Really spectacular everywhere you look.
Our family of five adults took advantage of the large pool (bigger and deeper than expected, great for laps) and the many different areas to lounge and view sunsets. The pictures do the main living area and three bedrooms justice; all are large and very functional. Comfortable beds, good air flow with screens and fans - did not miss air conditioning. The bathrooms are quite worn, but functional. Three separate sinks in the shared bath were helpful. All of us used the outdoor shower daily.
This was our first trip to St Lucia and we were not comfortable driving the very windy roads, "on the other side of the road" ourselves. The owner suggested we have their caretaker drive and we took advantage of that with an extra tip at the end for his service. We rented through Drive-A-Matic and had them deliver and pick up the car at Les Chaudieres - worked very slick. We used a car service to do the three separate transfers we needed from the airport.
We mostly stayed at the villa - not much could beat it! We did venture out to the nearby Ti Kaye resort for snorkeling and a very good lunch at the waterfront restaurant. We also chartered a private, half day boat tour through Hackshaw. Highly recommend! They dock out of Castries, we had them drop us off in Marigot Bay for lunch and our driver picked us up there. Don't miss Marigot Bay.
The staff is accommodating and unobtrusive, but ready and willing to answer all questions. Christy's dinners were wonderful.
A couple other misc comments. The bugs can be bad - bring your best repellent and use it all the time. The stereo system was broken when we were there, but it was no problem because we brought a couple portable bluetooth speakers which served us well. Credit cards were accepted at the established restaurants we went to for lunch. In each case, they wrote the US$ equivalent to the ECC. Don't pay the US dollars they note on the receipt in cash because in each case, the actual amount charged to my credit card was 15 - 20% less. Food and dining is definitely more expensive than the US, understandably with the level of imports.
This place is really special.
The beauty is incredible
Our group was 2 couples with 4 kids total (1.5, 1.5, 3, and 4), and the place worked great. Christy was able to arrange for us to have a crib and a pack n play for the two babies, and having people to take care of all the cooking and cleaning made this actually feel like a real vacation. Which, anyone with kids knows is close to impossible. The shear beauty of the setting is quite impactful when you first arrive, and for whatever reason there are almost daily rainbows out of the ocean. Truly felt like paradise.
We were looking for a vacation where we plop down in a house and don't do much else, and this was great for that. We would go down to the beach below the house most days, and otherwise sit around the pool or the outdoor living room and relax. There weren't many enticing options within a 45min drive from the house to go explore, but that suited us well.
If you want to be taken care of really well, eat good food, enjoy warmth and beauty and meet some very friendly people, this is a great spot.
Our group of 5 adults had a wonderful stay. Staff was accommodating and the meals cooked were excellent! The main area / pool speaker system has a 3.5mm cable to connect your music devices to. WiFi in the main area was fine but spotty in the rooms due to the walls. The main living area could use some ceiling fans when there aren't any breezes coming through. The rooms have no AC but all have fans. The bedroom windows and doors are setup to take advantage of breezes to cool. You'll need bug spray / lotion when outside to avoid no-see-um (locals call sand flies) bites. Google Maps found the property perfectly but failed taking us back to UVF airport so drop a pin when leaving the airport. Made some great memories at Les Chaudieries and Saint Lucia!
the description really doesnt do it justice!!
I cant imagine staying any where else!!! the photos are lovely but they do not capture the magic of the entire property . All of the staff made us feel as if we were the most important guests they had ever had!! Christy is fabulous , from her amazing meals to her suggestions on what to do to arranging a boat and guide for our snorkeling she was on top of it!! all I can say is if you are thinking about going to this amazing Island do not stay anywhere else- the personal touches put this beautiful home beyond any comparison to any resort or Ritz Carlton. I wasn't convinced I would want to stay home for any amount of time but once there it really is enchanting and there is no reason to leave. ( When we did we planned our outings around meal time !!!) Go Go Go
Beautiful, stunning, laid back villa with fantastic service
This is an absolutely stunning location. The pictures do not lie. The vibe is laid back and relaxing. There are things to do on the island but you can also relax and swim at the pool or hike/drive to beach below. Christy and her group are experts at making you feel comfortable and providing the utmost in local meals, food and pointing you in the right direction to island activities. Paul was helpful in driving us places as needed.
Advice after the fact--bring a lot of cash. Many local guides operate on a cash only basis. We had some trouble getting cash from ATMs. Bring bug spray. Some of us got bitten by invisible bugs! Bring snorkel gear. It's easier to have your own. Don't bring a lot of clothes! Easy to wash them here and Martina does this automatically! If you want a fancy hotel or full buffet or large group trips in vans, this place is not for you. If you want a casual, but extremely comfortable, pleasant beautiful fantastic location to relax and re-energize, dont hesitate.!
but most of all the most peaceful and relaxing trip imaginable
