Three cabins located near the shores of Sebago Lake Basin. The property is near the heart of North Windham and provides easy access for vacation needs at the local Wal-Mart, Shaw's and Hannaford. The cabins have been fully modernized and were renovated in 2012. This location represents the closest point to Portland's downtown and travel centers on Sebago Lake.
It is a wonderful family location. Nearby for rainy days are movie theaters and on sunny days adventurous activities from hiking to swimming to boating and the amusement parks. For parents, the cabins are nearby the JCC day camp.Maybe a little bit more of a vacation for you?
The main cabin sleep arrangements include a master bed room with a large closet and deck access for views of the lake. The sun room has deck access and a door to the main living area. Both the main living area and the sun room have comfortable full sized futons.
The guest cabins can be used for a separate family or as a bunk house for the kids.
NOTE: We do not allow the storage or usage of fireworks on the property. Storage and usage of fireworks will be considered to be a breach of the rental contract and we will ask you to leave the property before the end of your stay without a refund. We appreciate your consideration with this matter.
A list of Association and Cottage rules are furnished with the rental. Service Dogs with documentation are permissible. Dogs are prohibited from the association beach..
You must include a working telephone number with your inquiry or you will receive a reply that the property is unavailable. We've found the best renters have a telephone number.
Prices do not include state tax which is 8%.
WINTER RENTAL NOTE: Only the guest cabin and bunkhouse are available for winter rentals. In addition to base rate, there is a $75 per person charge plus tax and booking fee. The guest cabin has a full size futon (2 people) and sleeper couch (2 people) located in one sleeping area, kitchen, bathroom and electric baseboard heat. The bunk house has a full size futon (2 people) in living room and queen size bed (2 people) in bedroom. There is no bathroom in the bunk house. Each room has an electric space heater. There is a $75 per additional person per night additional fee when occupancy exceeds 2 people. Due to the extreme cold weather we require tenants to purchase Property Damage Protection $89 and we advise purchasing the Carefree Rental Guarantee

This home on Sebago Lake not only has three bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom with shower, living/dining combination, and a deck shaded by trees, it has a one-bedroom guest house. It’s a perfect combination for a couple with children who want to include their parents or in-laws. The home is modernized, spacious, and streamlined with everything you need (including washer/dryer, charcoal grill, canoe). The beach is within a short walking distance and is private, peaceful, and gorgeous. It doesn’t get much better than this!
My family of 15 fit perfectly! The house and cottages were clean, well equipped. We built a campfire nightly. The beach was beautiful, we hung there daily and had a so much fun!!!
I recommend this spot to anyone, especially large families like mine.
My husband and I grew up in Windham. We were so happy when we found your home online. We had been searching for a long time to find a location on the lake that would accommodate our own family (we have three children) as well as visits from our large family and close friends. Your home allowed us to enjoy every moment during our stay at the lake,l. We had several generations gathered around the fire pit almost every evening. Even on the rainy days we loved spending time together in the main house. Thank you so much for providing everything that we needed to make our visit enjoyable, and truly hassle free!
We visited from Texas. This property was a great retreat from the August heat. There are three very comfortable and well appointed buildings on the property. All are situated under old growth pines surrounded by maples, oaks, etc, the lake just a few steps away. There is a great beach which was very private. Often times we were the only ones there! The cabins are incredibly equipped, complete with incredibly high speed wireless that was also enjoyed all the way down on the beach. Other amenities that can be enjoyed include a huge fire pit for memorable evenings sitting around a fire, starry night skies, the call of loons coming off the lake, fishing, boating, and swimming. While there you get the feel of a very secluded and remote location, however a full service supermarket and Walmart is just some 5 or 6 minutes away. As well a number of restaurants featuring the best of seafood that Maine is famous for can be found within a short 10 to 15 minute drive. Even so you'll most likely never want to leave the serenity and comfort of the property. As for the cabins, all are very comfortable and accommodating. The main cabin can easily sleep 7 or 8, while the smaller cabins can sleep up to 5 or 6 adults and children. Scott, the owner also checked with us to make sure all our needs we're satisfied. I highly recommend this location as your next vacation destination! Thank you Scott!!!
We totally enjoyed our vacation at the Gene's property..great place to spend a week. Close to swimming area for the kids . Cottages very neat and clean. Nice fire-pit to sit around at night and roast marshmallows.. I would highly recommend this rental . You also have Patrick who is the caretaker. He is very helpful with all your questions, and is there whenever you call. Cutos to Patrick.
And the owner is also very much interested in your stay, calling to see if anything is needed. Great time....
This property has three separate units equipped with their own bathrooms and living areas including TVs, perfect for providing a little privacy during a multi-family visit. With the peace and quiet here, you wouldn't know that you were only two minutes from the bustle of Route 302. The property is a 30-second walk from a very nice beach. The owner and property manager are extremely attentive and keep the property in excellent working order, assuring your stay will be a wonderful one.
The Sebago Lake Basin is a great place to vacation with the family. Plenty of local daytime activities including the JCC Day Camp. Nearby attractions include several movie theaters and amusement parks. This property is located within 1 mile of Wal-Mart, Hannaford, Shaw's, Dunkin' Donuts and Gilbert's Chowder House. Recently, Lonely Planet published an excellent guide to the Greater Portland Maine area.

No smoking and No pets. Common sense (e.g. don't climb on the roof or urinate anyplace except for a toilet) and courtesy applies.
We have a rental agreement that is posted in the house. If you violate the agreement at our discretion we will determine how to enforce it which MAY INCLUDE ASKING YOU TO LEAVE EARLY WITHOUT A REFUND. We've been renting properties for close to 9 years...only once (in 2016 at our AZ properties) had to remove a tenant and we don't want to continue with you, so please abide by the terms.
