The owners of “Beach’burgh” at 71 Grand Pavilion might be from Pittsburgh, but their home is full of Southern Charm. The black and gold colors of Steelers are absent in this home, that is beautiful with bright colors that grace this four bedroom home. Located in the Grand Pavilion and just four narrow lots away from the ocean, “Beach’burgh” has easy beach access and use of two oceanfront pools, beach bar and café, ice cream shop and surf shop.
On the first level you will find a living room and den full of charm, featuring a home theater, flat screen television and iPod dock. A daybed can be found in the lower level bedroom, which has a full bath. The dining room seats six with room for six more in the kitchen. The kitchen is bright and cheerful, and has plenty of room to cook a low country feast. There are three bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom features a king bed, screen porch and large master bathroom with garden tub. A secret surprise at “Beach’burgh” is the gym. Featuring an assortment of work out equipment, you can bulk up or slim down to be a future linebacker for the Steelers following of course a relaxing afternoon lounging on the beach. Steeler fan approved gym equipment includes an elliptical trainer and a universal gym. The two guest bedrooms on the second floor feature queen beds and private baths.
You might be a tough Steelers fan that is used to the frozen tundra of Pittsburgh, but you will melt with Southern Charm during your next visit to “Beach’burgh”.

The Isle of Palms, like all barrier islands, has a dynamic beach near the inlet that separates the island from Dewees Island. The ebb and flow of the changing tides, through the inlet, creates and moves sand bars just off shore. These sandbars will channel waves between them, resulting in the massive buildup of sand along portions of the island where other areas may develop temporary erosional hot spots. These hot spots will feature a sand beach throughout the day outside an hour or so before and after high tide. Where a dry sand beach may be limited in these few areas at high tide, walking either direction will lead to an area where the sandbars have created an expansive beach to enjoy at any tide.

We are a family of five and had plenty of room at this condo. It had everything that we needed for our vacation and was very clean upon arrival. It has a great view of the beach and the swimming pools. The furniture was comfortable and the kids enjoyed the free WiFi. We would definitely stay here again!
The property is well-located and convenient to the beach. For a family with kids and we have four, this house is perfect. You are near the beach and near the center of activities at the Pavilion and Wild Dunes in general. The house seems designed for families. The house is really comfortable and nice. If you want to be near the beach and Pavilion, if you want to enjoy the amenities of Wild Dunes, and you have kids of all ages, I recommend this house. The rest of my family recommends it too.
Other Activities: Ghost tours, Middleton Plantation, Boone Hall Plantation, Fort Sumer Tours, Charleston Battery and Market, and 100's of other great local attractions.
