The Cottage at Twin Oaks is located just 1 1/2 miles from the historic Sonoma Plaza: in a quiet peaceful, upscale residential/farm area. Our stunning 4 acre property is situated down a beautiful Country road amidst old Oak trees and grazing cows.
Upon entering our gated home you will feel what wine country living is all about! Beautifully landscaped, a remarkable hobby vineyard, a small producing olive and fruit orchard and a beautiful pool area. We encourage our Guests to enjoy all the property has to offer. Enjoy a swim in the beautiful black bottom pool, indulge in the veggie garden or become a chef for the day in the outdoor gourmet kitchen/BBQ area. This property exudes comfort and relaxation throughout.
The Cottage lends itself for total relaxation. Unwind in the cozy living area in front of the fire, or take in the stars from your private hot tub located on the deck. The choice is yours for dining. Take in a wonderful restaurant just minutes away or grab some local flavor and dine in by candle light.
Come and experience The Cottage at Twin Oaks.
We look forward to your visit with us!
what an amazing place this is. We went the last weekend in June to celebrate my birthday. After a long traffic filled drive from San Francisco due to the NASCAR event we couldn't believe when we passed through the front gate. It exceeded every expectation. Gorgeous property surrounded by their own vines. Awesome pool, I even jumped on the trampoline. The 1 bedroom comes with your own private jacuzzi out on the deck which was so nice to come home to after long days of wine tasting. We spent the night sitting out on the deck looking at the stars. We were so pleased to come home our 2nd day to see the barn doors open. We peaked inside and were greeted by Nina's dad. He let us taste their family wine that is grown right on the property. Nina and her family are all so welcoming. We loved their dog (they do not live on site, were just visiting) and her daughter even passed by and made sure we knew we could use the pool. The inside of the cottage had everything we needed. We BBQ'd one of the nights and always cooked breakfast. The cottage has air conditioning, which helped in cooling down the house at the end of the day. The property is extremely peaceful and was perfectly central to all of the wineries we visited. Less than 5 minutes to the square. I would recommend this cottage to anyone and we will definitely be staying there on return trips to the area.
-Communication with the owner to arrange payment was simple and the owner was always quick to respond.
-Going to Sonoma in the off season is great. Do not be afraid to go to Sonoma just because it might be rainy or because they already picked the grapes. Sonoma is still beautiful and the trade-off for smaller crowds was well worth it.
-All amenities described were accurate. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Plenty of towels, napkins, bedding, etc. All the necessities were provided as described
-Property is fenced in and secure
-Great location, close to everything with a car. Short drive to Sonoma Square. Walkable if you don't mind a long walk
-Hot tub was awesome and worked great (one of the main reasons we booked)
-Property is very clean and well maintained
We would absolutely book the property again and look forward to visiting Sonoma again.
We originally chose this spot for a weekend getaway because of it's proximity to all the things that make Sonoma Valley so great... vineyards, hiking, galleries, close to Carneros, quick hop to Napa, a mile from the Sonoma Square... its really in a great location. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the deck, having a glass of wine in the hot tub after a day of wilderness hiking on Sugarloaf Ridge in Kenwood, and the Sonoma restaurants we tried were fantastic. What we didn't expect was how much we would enjoy just being there. Sitting on the deck in the afternoon was so relaxing that we dialed back our agenda just so we could unplug a little and hang out at the cabin. We topped it off by picking up fresh picked vegetables from the W. Watmaugh farm stand on our way out of town. When people say they'd like to have a cabin in the wine country some day... this is what they mean. We really enjoyed our stay!
This property was exactly what we were looking for and Nina was able to accommodate us last minute. The grounds are lovely and we enjoyed the pool and hottub. The cottage was well equipped and had that country feel but you were really just with 2 miles of civilization. We will definitely be back.
The owner was super nice and accommodated a last minute request. Great location and affordable price (you can't beat it when comparing against hotel rates - and I much prefer this any day)! The cottage is located about one mile from Sonoma Plaza. The property where the cottage is located is very nice, you feel like you are in the country. The cottage itself is clean, charming and perfect for a couple. We went to the local market and made a wonderful Italian dinner, drank local wine and even baked cookies. :) The hot tub is the perfect way to end your night and look at the stars. This was our first time in Sonoma and won't be our last. I look forward to booking this cottage again!
My wife and I had another wonderful visit to wine country because of our stay at The Cottage at Twin Oaks. Located on the south side of the town of Sonoma and close to great wineries makes this cottage the perfect location. Easy distance to Sebastiani, Domanie Carnoers and Cline just to name a few. This was our second time staying at this beautiful location. Quite, quaint and comfortable are just a few of the words for this romantic getaway. We had the best 30th anniversary dinner at the Girl and the Fig and were only minutes away form home. You will love your stay.
