|Minimum Stay||2 - 3 nights|
Enjoy cool, crisp mornings and warm glowing sunsets from your chair or rocker on the expansive deck overlooking the Pisgah Mountain Range... Fall is here, and the trees and bushes are showing off their beautiful yellow, orange and red colors. The cool morning air allows for deep blue skies, pure white clouds, and long range views. You can enjoy white squirrels and beautiful birds, right off the deck and from the kitchen window. Rhododendrons and Mountain laurel stay green all year and their flower caps are set to bloom in late spring of next year.
Spring is a time of crisp weather, and the wonderment of trees awakening from their long winter sleep. The long distance views are amazing and it is fun to see the daffodils popping their heads up from the soil.
Summer is when you can have fun outdoor activities like floating down our many nearby creeks in tubes, taking a bike ride, hiking our many trails, viewing our easy to reach waterfalls, picking some wild berries, for a cobbler, and just enjoying the area.
There is a commanding long distance view of 8 mountain ranges and clear views of the surrounding area. Bring a sweater and enjoy our crisp mornings and watch the warm sunsets from the deck, before you settle in for the evening.
We are just west of Historic Downtown Hendersonville, located at the end of a paved road, with homes nearby. Our home is very private, located on the side of a mountain, surrounded by thick rhododendron and mountain laurel. When you stay with us, you are welcome to pick from our garden! (When in season.) And in July and August, there are plenty of blackberries and blueberries to gather for a pie or cobbler.
'Pisgah View' is comfortably furnished and well-appointed ~ including lush 100% cotton linens and towels, fully functioning upscale kitchen, wood-burning fireplace on the main upper level and gas log stove in the lower level. There is Dish Satelite TV's, secure Wireless Internet, and many 'family-friendly' movies that the whole family can enjoy.
The home is cleaned with 'friendly' non-toxic cleaning agents, and we use only non-perfumed and hypo-allergenic laundry powder on all linens and towels. This leaves nothing but the good old-fashioned sweet smell of clean.
For your convenience we supply all the paper goods that you need for your stay here at our home. Paper towels, coffee filters, napkins, toilet paper, tissues, etc. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the supplies you need like tin foil, plastic wrap and plastic storage bags, spices, cloth dish towels, crock pot, toaster, 3 different sizes of coffee makers, a waffle maker, blender, mixer, and etc.
You may drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, visit Pisgah National Forest, The Grove Park Inn, DuPont Triple Falls, Historic Main Streets, Carl Sandburg Home, The Biltmore House during the day ... and have a home cooked meal while watching the sunset from many windows and of course, the porch.
We know you will enjoy our quiet, peaceful and relaxing home. Come and find out for yourself.

Keywords: Upscale home that is secluded, on the side of a mountain, with a wonderful porch, rockers, and great views and sunsets to the west, and Mt. Pisgah.
We have always loved the mountains and vacationed here every year for 30 years. We finally made the move from Florida in 2000, and now North Carolina is home. Our daughters and their families live here, and we all enjoy the many outdoor activities. There is hiking, fishing, golf, tubing down the creeks, and even horseback riding in the Pisgah National Park.
We built this house in 2003 because of the long distance views and yet it is close to town. You too will enjoy this upscale custom home, close-in yet private, on the side of a mountain.

We love the fact that we are so close to Historic Downtown Hendersonville, and only a mile off 64W, which is the main road leading to Brevard, and the Pisgah National Forest. We are 20 minutes south of Asheville and 10 minutes to the airport and all shopping. We are located at the end of a paved road, in a community of 21 homes, yet this home is so private that you can not see another house from our home. Wonderful, quiet, and peaceful, with plenty of wildlife to see.
Our home has a westward facing view, and you can see Mt. Pisgah, the Blue Ridge Parkway, many mountain ranges and the Mills River Valley from our home. The chairs and rockers are comfortable and the view is beautiful from any place on the deck. Our cabin motif makes for a special stay as you truly enjoy being 'in the woods'. We have handmade Amish furniture, cute little bears all around, and even a bear bedroom. You will enjoy the look and feel of our unique mountain home.
There is a family of white squirrels that visit the deck each day, just to see what 'goodies' we have put out for their enjoyment. We also supply the bird seed and the feeders that bring many moments of enjoyment. Come, stay and see the fun that our local wildlife provides.
We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this was by far the most organized and well appointed home. Extremely clean house with a fantastic location. If you are planning a trip to Asheville or want to visit the mountains this house is perfectly situated to do both. Hendersonville is fantastic with awesome restaurants and the Community Co-op has amazing local foods. We visited Dupont State Forest (25 min drive) and saw some of the most beautiful waterfalls in NC and film location for Hunger Games. We also visited Pisgah National forest and it was breathtaking! I can't say enough good things about this particular home and location. We have never felt so private yet so close to everything!
The house was decorated for Christmas which really made it feel like home. We had everything we needed to cook, play games and be comfortable and cozy. Beth was very attentive to our needs!
This is a really nice VRBO. We were three couples, siblings and spouses. The house worked out great for us. Each couple had their own bedroom and bath. We cook many of our meals and the kitchen was great. The owners provided everything we needed and then some. Pisgah View has a great location, near Asheville with all of its venues, near Hendersonville and its restaurants, close to Dupont Forest and hiking, close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and much more. My wife and I previewed the house with the owner and my wife told me that the house was spotless. We had a great time and couldn't have been more pleased.
This house is amazing! Our family stayed here for the Thanksgiving weekend. I cannot say enough great things about it. The house is spacious, CLEAN, and the views are simply breathtaking. Beth was wonderful to work with. She met us at the house and showed us everything we needed. She was responsive and a delight to work with. The house has everything one would need. They even provide bird seed for the feeders. It was so relaxing watching the birds in the mornings. The kitchen had everything we needed and was well appointed. The beds and bedding were wonderful , soft, and comfortable. We would, without reservation, stay at this house again.
The owner, Beth, is just amazing. She made sure we were all set! THE VIEW IS STUNNING! It is incredible to wake up in the morning and see the mountain skyline with the sunrise, and again with the sunset. The property is beautiful as well! The house is HUGE! It is a mixture of a lovely home and mountain cabin. The pictures honestly don't do it justice! The kitchen is stocked with all of the necessities. There are 3 bathrooms, so getting ready in the morning was a breeze! Our group of girls didn't want to leave the house because it was THAT amazing! But it is close to downtown, which is a cute Hallmark movie! And close to the two vineyards, and apple picking. I highly recommend this house! This is the third mountain weekend my friends and I have done, and this house surpassed them all! :)
The home had a beautiful view and the owner, Beth, was so kind . The house was spotless, I have never stayed in a cleaner , neater home that we have rented from VRBO . The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook a meal and there was a nice gas grill on the deck . I enjoyed just sitting on the front deck and watching the birds and squirrels . Sunsets were amazing . Grocery stores were close by . Lots of interesting books and movies were provided . We went with our adult children and enjoyed downtown Hendersonville , Brevard, Looking Glass Falls ,Sliding Rock, and hikes near the falls . Toured Burnsthirt Winery and even visited the Saint Paul Winery twice . Much to my surprise , I really enjoyed the Haunted Farm. The best part for the guys was the fly fishing trip . They had a great guide named Brandon Barber from River Blade Knife and Fly. His shop is located in Spartanburg SC but he does private trips in the Pisquah area. We were a little late for picking apples but enjoyed the Sky Top Orchard and the Justus Orchard. Sky Top makes a big production out of their business . Lots of things to do there besides pick apples . We missed out on the Flat Rock Playhouse this time but have enjoyed their plays in the past. The Blue Ridge Parkway and the Pisquah Inn are also near this home and are great choices for a day trip. The leaves had not peaked in Hendersonville yet but the foliage was still beautiful . Many thanks to the owners for sharing their home . There were so many fun things to do so close to the location .
You may drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, visit Pisgah National Forest, The Grove Park Inn, DuPont Triple Falls, Historic Main Streets, Carl Sandburg Home, The Biltmore House during the day ... and have a home cooked meal while watching the sunset and sit in front of the fire before going to bed. We know you will enjoy our quiet, peaceful and relaxing home.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the supplies you need like spices, tin foil, plastic wrap and storage bags, cloth dish towels, waffle maker, blender, etc..
It is a wonderful time of the year, there is plenty to do, and we have a beautiful house here in the mountains. Everything is on the main level, (which is the 2nd floor), and the porches are ample for just enjoying the view of eight mountain ranges and Mt. Pisgah.
For great vacation memories, come stay with us.
