A wonderful jewel!
This was our second year staying at this amazing home. We were there two weeks and returned yesterday. I cannot say enough how much we love this place! While it may look a bit small from the outside, don't let that fool you. Inside is a gorgeous, huge kitchen and dining area, beautiful living room and 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The master bath is a treat, huge shower with 2 shower heads! There is even a one car garage. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck in the evening and at the table at a side deck in the sun, during the day. Natalie is attentive to anything you may need. It is in the heart of Pass A Grill, and really is just 100 steps from the beach-I counted. There is truly no better beach than Pass A Grill beach. And, we were able to bring our dog, which made all the difference in the world to us.
thanks for such fantastic comments on the Pass a grille home!! hope to see you again..
Loved, loved, loved this home. Stocked with everything that you could possibly need! Well maintained, perfect location. We will be returning next year!
Fabulous location. Super clean and spacious.
The house was super clean and spacious. The location was phenomenal. Walking distance to beach (2 minutes) and shops, and restaurants. We really enjoyed it. Hope to come back next year.
Steps to the beach - pet friendly
This is lovely home, and your are only a few yards from being on the beach. The home is located on a section of the beach that is much less crowded than other areas, so you have room to spread out and play. We have older children but I believe that this is a great location for small children as well.
The home has everything you will need. The beds are comfortable as well as the rest of the home furnishings. The kitchen is well stocked, lots of towels, sheets and the washing machine and dryer work well though they are small. The refrigerator works great! I always have a problem freezing and cooling stuff on vacation. When you fill a refrigerator with new items it typically takes time to cool, but this one was great.
The one drawback in this home is the access. You have a keypad on the front door for entry which is fine because you don't have to mess with keys. However, the garage is located in the back of the home and you access the garage through an narrow alleyway one or two homes down the street. They don't provide a garage door opener. This means you have to let someone out in front of the home to go in and open the garage, or you have to park and then walk around the front of the home to get in. This could be a problem if you have small children and are an adult driving alone with them. Very inconvenient and an easy fix if they gave you a garage door opener. I wonder is the home owner could get you a parking pass to park on the street out front of the home?
I'm glad I didn't drive my F150 truck, not sure that I could have safely gotten the truck down the alleyway or parked it fully in the space behind the home. You can park two cars side by side in the back, we did, but not two with the truck, plus the truck would have stuck-out into the alleyway.
Caution the garage floods when it rains! We had several days with hard rain in the late afternoon and evening. One night we couldn't get to the car because of the standing water on the parking pad in the back. When I went out to the garage there was water on the garage floor, opening the door allowed water to rush in. The street was flooded as well. We had a choice, get wet and dirty or stay home. Once it stopped raining it takes about an hour for the water to drain off the parking pad so you can access you car without getting your feet soaked. If you can get your car in the garage you can avoid some of this, we could not.
The garage issue would not stop us from staying here again.
Wonderful Beach House
We loved this house.Everthing was clean, neat and well stocked with our every needs. My family had a wonderful week.It was so nice being that close to the gulf.
The house is very comfortable and clean! Unfortunately we were there through a bad tropical storm which cut our visit short by 3 days :(. Looking to go back real soon! No need for a car during your stay! Everything you need for the beach and walk to the bars/ restaurants..... Great spot!
