|Minimum Stay||2 - 3 nights|
This apartment, is much more spacious than the average studio in Paris: 350 square foot. A whole family up to four guests wouldn't feel tight.
Location, Marais district. Unlike some other areas in Paris, you won't have to run more than few meters to buy your groceries or find interesting shops and a wide range of restaurants.
-just as an example "L'Ami Louis" or "Pramil", internationaly famous, at door step-
3 metro stations and 5 metro lines close 5 minutes from front door will take you anywhere in Paris.
You can walk to Centre Georges Pompidou or Museum Picasso in less than 10 minutes.
The apartment is located on the first floor (one floor up from street level).
3 large windows on a courtyard , no street noise!
In the separate kitchen: everything you need to cook.
The studio is fitted with a queen size bed in a alcove and a convertible sofa. All linens and towels are supplied also an ironboard and a hairdryer.
There is a cable television, a portable radio/CD player,
WiFi Internet access and free telephone calls.
I have always been a parisian and yet a traveler discovering Paris.I find very stimulant to host different people from different areas in the world, different style and different interest with their voyage.
renting this place keep me curious...
claude tixier purchased this studio in 2003
Le Marais and those ancient houses and palates, lively caffes, restaurants and abundant shops of all kind has always been my favorite promenade.
Paris is at door step.
I just wanted to thank you for all that you did for us in Paris. Your flat is beautiful, clean, and spacious. The location is perfect from all great spots in the city and very safe. I'm going to give you a nice write up to better your already great reputation on VRBO and have also recommended your place to friends so if I can get you extra business I definitely will. Thank you again and have a wonderful holiday season.

Madame Claude was very nice and helpfull, the studio needs a little improvement, the shelf under mirror in bathroom did not hold anything except toothpase, my husband tried to fix it. We had to keep shampoo on the floor in the shower cabin, there was no cuddy, no shelfes, kitchen had everything we needed it, location is excellent, we will come back, thanks
Apartment was in a great location. Close to various bus and metro stops. Very clean and Claude was great. She met us on our arrival. We had breakfast at location and spent most of the day out. Very good internet.
Always prompt replying to our emails and very helpful with directions, suite equipment and convenience.
The apt. Is so well located, 2 min walk to 3 main metros so a great base for day trips anywhere.
Apartment fully equipped, even a washing machine!
We stayed 5 days and will return!
If you are visiting to see the attractions of Paris, give this rental serious consideration. Mme Claude Tixier is easy to deal with and her studio makes an excellent home base. There is a metro station (Arts et Metiers) and grocery (Carrefour) within a two minute walk. Notre Dame, the Latin quarter, and the Louvre and Orsay museums are all within quick and easy access by metro, and the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees are only a few stops further away. Versailles is similarly convenient, although well outside of Paris. For those wanting a quick orientation to Paris, there is a river cruise that leaves from the Pont Neuf near Notre Dame.
As to the rental itself, the pictures are accurate. The studio layout makes for an efficient use of space. Bathroom is roomy for France. Apartment was clean with no smell of tobacco. Plentiful towels and bedding. Windows overlook a private courtyard, so there is no street noise, and they are tall so air exchange is efficient. Air conditioner is of portable type but is large and surprisingly effective...we visited in July and the inside temperature was always comfortable.
We enjoyed our stay and found this rental completely satisfactory. We highly recommend it to other visitors to Paris.
We enjoyed our stay at the Large Studio in "Le Marais" a great position to explore the area and the studio was very comfortable especially having an airconditioner. Claude was very helpful giving us information re facilities and restaurants .
My wife and I stayed in Claude's flat and we both enjoyed our stay. Claude was at the flat to meet us. She responded to any or all inquiries prior to and after the stay. We did not need to contact her during the stay but we had her number and felt that it would be no inconvenience to her if we needed her. My wife was a little worried about staying in an apartment as this was our first VRBO stay. She told me it exceeded her expectations. I will likely never stay in a Hotel again unless I am forced. I enjoyed the neighborhood and we walked everywhere. The Metro is near by as well as bus stops. The apartment was clean a little older but so is Paris!!! The restaurant down the street Pramil is excellent and we ate there our first night and our last. I would stay again, Claude was a wonderful hostess and called the night before we were to leave as she was concerned about the rain (flood week) and the strikes. I recommend to anyone who is tired of Hotels and wants to be in the neighborhood.
