Privately owned and managed, this is a great getaway home located in Lexington, Ky. minutes from downtown, Keeneland, Kentucky Horse Park and the airport. The home is 1500 square feet, single story, 3 bedroom (plus queen sofa bed), 2 bath. Originally built as a model home in 2005, the home features tons of upgrades such as 42” cabinets, bay windows, black-on-black appliances, HDTVs and a Tempur-pedic mattress in the Master Suite plus more!
This home sits on a spacious 80’x60’ foot lot and backs up to a large green space providing plenty of privacy. Masterson Station Park and neighborhood walking trails are located within walking distance of the home. We do observe the minimum booking requirements for the home. We had a death in our family requiring last minute arrangements. It was quick and easy. Great location. Everything you need is there. Lovely neighborhood.
We rented for the Thanksgiving holiday with extended family. It was easy for my elderly mother to get into the house. There was no step in from the garage. It was nice to have the large park (including a dog park) nearby. The house is convenient to the airport also.
We stayed for USEF Pony Finals. The property was very convenient to the Kentucky Horse Park. The location was ideal between the Park, restaurants and grocery store. The house was clean and comfortable. Wifi worked great. Having a washing machine and dryer was convenient. I have rented several properties through VRBO. The only reason that I didn't give their property review five stars is due to the lack of response to communication. I did find it frustrating in the lack of timely response, but their response rating reflects it. It did concern me that the communication from them was not as responsive as it is with other property owners that I have communicated with on VRBO. However, this is not a reason not to rent the property. You just have to be patient, although not having rented from them before, you would find this concerning.
Easy access to KY Horse Park, Keeneland, and downtown. Many conveniences are nearby. The house was very modern and clean. Beds were comfy. Getting to use the garage was a nice bonus, especially the night it was pouring. Owner had the A/C on high for our arrival- appreciated it very much. Highly recommend!
We stayed for a long weekend. The location was good to downtown and Keeneland where we spent most of our time. Matt was responsive to our calls. Since we brought our pets we were concerned about the herbicide spray sign in the yard when we arrived. Contacted Matt who had all detailed information available within 30 minutes of our call. To our relief they had sprayed the yard earlier in the week so there was no hazard for our dogs. Masterson Park is walking or bicycling distance away. Red State BBQ is a short drive. Jefferson street is a 5 minute drive where Nick Ryan's, Grey Goose, Country Club and my favorite for carry out, Wagon Bones BBQ are located. Rupp Arena is 5 minutes, too. Barrel Head Distillery is downtown and worth a short visit. We were planning on staying here again in October for the horse races at Keeneland, but alas, it was booked for the whole month. Only suggestion is to have grass mowed more often. It was a little long when we were there. We would recommend staying here.
This home is located 5 minutes from downtown Lexington and Rupp Arena, 10 minutes from Keeneland and 15 minutes from the Kentucky Horse Park. Whether in town to watch a basketball game, for Keeneland meets, or shopping in Hamburg or Fayette Mall this is the perfect location with all the amenities of home.
