Great Vacation spot, walking distance to the beaches (Atlantic Avenue & Indian Wells Beach), proximity to downtown Amagansett, Montauk & the Hamptons. Large front lawn with an acre of property for family gatherings.
After struggling to find a place to vacation that fit into our hectic family schedules this particular year, my girls and husband found this stunner of a home so I reluctantly gave in to “a week at the beach”. While the beach is my 28 and 24 year old daughters dream vacation, a week at the beach is not my thought of a real vacation. WOW this house made me a believer. Pristine décor, fabulous location and such diversity. Morning runs along the beach for me, while my sun worshiping girls sat in the lounge chairs by the heated pool with their father close by in the hammock before the short walk/ride down to the beach each day if we wanted to leave the house! The outdoor shower made it an easy transition to prepare for an afternoon or evening in any of the nearby towns to shop, eat, people watch and truly understand why people flock out to Long Island every weekend.
There are plenty of nearby activities that don’t require sitting in traffic or lots of planning. We were able to easily make this vacation as relaxing or active as we chose to on any particular day. We were even able to get a girls day of shopping in while my husband got in a round of golf.
The conversation the entire trip home revolved around whether or not we can do this for two weeks next year!!!! We are hooked. This was the perfect to pull away from the hectic pace and relax together.
First and foremost I didn't feel obligated, but rather obliged to write this review.
I've been on many trips through the years and really never respond to reviews, but this one couldn't escape me.
My wife and I are in our mid 50's, our 3 kids are in their 20's. It's hard to balance all our schedules but we got it done. We decided last June 2015 to embark on the Hamptons and came across this lovely home. It was a perfect fit for our family because of the spacious rooms and plenty to do right on the premises.
The house was pristine with up to date furnishings and amenities. Flawless hardwood floors, freshly painted walls, an elevated loft with spiral staircase and all new kitchen appliances. We knew this place was a keeper for future bookings and appreciated all the hard work that was put into it. The house sits in the middle of an acre property which sits back far enough off Montauk highway. The half mile walk, bike or car ride to the beach was so convenient.
The non beach days we just relaxed and hung by the heated pool, played bocci ball, made use of the outdoor shower and my favorite spot was relaxing in the hammock area. (Great place to unwind)
At night we would cook at the house or head out to East Hampton or Montauk to enjoy the great restaurants and shops.
In closing it was a perfect relaxing week with our kids in a setting that speaks volumes about your home. Thanks for letting us share in this beauty and I'm happy to say we are planning our next trip this Sept and hope there is availability for us, will be in touch soon.
We found the house in excellent condition.
everything we needed was there. It was extremely clean and taken care of. I enjoyed the pool and the beautiful property. The owner accommodated my husband who was in a wheelchair with ramp and roll in shower. There was a handyman on call if needed. I would recommend this property to a friend or relative. It was also well situated next to shopping and beaches. We returned three years in a row.
My stay here was fantastic. The house is beautiful and secluded. It is a very close distance to the beach and on days when we didn't want to head to the beach or into town, there was enough to do at the house.
There is a beautiful heated pool, bocce court, outdoor shower, hammock, large front yard for playing football and soccer etc. The inside is spacious, beautifully decorated, modern and most importantly CLEAN. I would consider this a luxury rental. I HIGHLY recommend this house. We had a perfect Hampton vacation and we will definitely be returning again this summer!
I have stayed at several homes in the south fork, but nothing beats this house. It is incredibly well maintained, clean, all new appliances. The house location is awesome. It's right past the town of Amagansett and a short walk to Atlantic Beach. The yard is awesome if you have children who want to play outside. Also the heated pool is a big plus. The décor of the house is not like a typical rental. It's clear that an interior designer was hired. The house feels like you are staying at someone else's home. It is warm, cozy and has all the great amenities of a vacation house in the hamptons. The owner was incredibly easy to work with and made sure our stay was enjoyable. Highly recommend this house. We will be coming back
