Our flat provides the best of both worlds--Victorian charm with all modern amenities. It is located in the heart of Noe Valley--San Francisco's most charming family neighborhood. No need to get in a vehicle--you can walk to dining and shopping. The flat has hardwood floors, new appliances and a remodeled kitchen and bathroom. It is tastefully decorated with original and world artwork and all new comfortable, contemporary furniture.
The kitchen is fully equipped with quality pots, utensils (including sharp knives), and dining service for 12. The dining table seats 8. All appliances, large and small, are new. Whether you plan on cooking yourself or getting take-out, you will be pleased with our gourmet kitchen.
Each bedroom is equipped with a queen sized bed, fine 100% cotton linens, a full length mirror, reading lights, and a chest. The living room sofa opens up into a comfortable full sized bed. A crib (play yard), linens and high chair are available for our youngest guests.
A private backyard redwood deck for the exclusive use of our guests is located a few feet from the kitchen. On warm mornings, enjoy your coffee outdoors! . The deck is furnished with plants and table and chairs.
The unit is a mere block and a half from 24th Street, Noe Valley's shopping street. Within 4 blocks can be found many fine dining, casual family dining and gourmet' takeout' facilities. Our supermarket, Whole Foods, provides the best of fresh produce and meats and fish. Also on 24th street, is our organic Saturday morning Farmer's Market. For your convenience we have provided a shopping cart.
The unit is located on the #35 bus line and one block from the #24 bus. Both these buses link with the Muni light rail system, bringing you within 20-30 minutes of downtown San Francisco or Ocean Beach. A 30-minute walk or the #48 bus takes you to the 24th Street BART station, linking to downtown, and all of the Bay Area cities and airports. .
The are two playgrounds within 3 blocks of the unit--Noe Courts and Douglas Playground. Both have free tennis courts, basketball courts, swings and play structures. On 24th and Church Streets is a 24-Hour Fitness Center.

Excellent 2-bedroom apartment provides space for relaxing as well as a large kitchen for meals. Great appliances, including washer and dryer, plates and cutlery, and adequate cooking pans, bowls and utensils. Fold-out couch in the living room is not particularly comfortable, but that's to be expected. Spotlessly clean.
It would have been nice to have some information on the close-by bus routes and BART, plus information on how to purchase tickets and passes. Once we figured that out, we found that the site is very well located to be able to get to anywhere you want to go.
We had a fantastic time in SF here, Louise was an incredibly helpful and accommodating host. The house was very comfortable for the 5 of us, and the neighbourhood was the ideal base, great atmosphere and shopping. If we're lucky enough to come back to San Fran one day we'd love to stay here again!
The location for this great flat is superb - 1 1/2 blocks from W. 24th Street shopping, restaurants, Whole Foods, liquor store, etc. We came to visit with our daughter and son-in-law who live near the Noe Valley area so it was quite convenient. Very clean, appliances all up-to-date and in good working order, attractive furnishings, adorable outdoor space. The kitchen/dining area is very large. Louise communicated with us promptly before our arrival. We had a fantastic time, and will definitely stay here again.
I found this apartment for my son and family, to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We stayed a short distance away and had a lovely family gathering in the back patio and living area. Everything was just perfect and just as described. Louise couldn't have been more helpful, her place was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, with a large kitchen area. A truly lovely place to stay to visit beautiful San Francisco!
my husband and i stayed at the property for 1 week while we were visiting our daughter and her family. it worked out perfectly for us. the house is nicely maintained and comfortable. a nice BIG kitchen with all the needed appliances plus a very nice back patio area. we were very comfortable there. and it was great for us personally because it was so close to our daughter's home. we will be back for sure!
My husband and I along with another couple spent a week here and it was perfect! The apartment was the larger than expected and exceeded our expectations. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. The apartment had plenty of extra towels and toiletries. Everything was clean when we arrived. The owner was pleasant and made staying there stress-free.
We rented a car and did not have any issues with parking. The apartment is located in a nice neighborhood very close to shops, restaurants and cafes. We loved the Diamond Cafe at the corner for morning coffee and lattes. We are in our late 20s/early 30s and all felt that this neighborhood was a good choice for us. Easy to get around to other tourist attractions and had plenty of amenities locally. I would definitely recommend this rental!
