Better than expected

Awesome cottage in a great setting. Fully modernized and comfortable with plenty of room outside for dogs to run. Beautiful trees and landscaping. Owners were very attentive and made sure our stay was good. Will stay here again!

SPECTACULAR ROMANTIC SETTING!!

  • 5 of 5

Without a doubt this cottage and property is one of the best in Washington! 😀

We have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and this one just went to the top of our list. The house is literally spotless, everything you can think of that you might need for your stay has been provided. Nothing will detract from your stay here in this private paradise.

The owner Debbie is so thoughtful and kind and willing to help make your stay even better...not sure that's even possible...since it was perfect!!

Just wait until you see the amazing view from this property...the pics are accurate but until you see it yourself its just hard to put into words how peaceful and gorgeous it is.

We saw geese, otters, dozens of blue herons, a family of raccoons, huge variety of birds, and deer.

You will not be disappointed...I'm hopeful there will still be availability for us to stay once this secret hideaway is no longer a secret...💞.

Great rental cottage in Sequim

  • 5 of 5

The house was spotless. All the appliances and fixtures worked well. The beds were very comfy, and the seating areas were welcoming. The TV and internet worked great. Cell phone reception was a bit iffy, but we found if we stood out on the deck we had adequate reception with Verizon.

The location was very convenient to Route 101 and to downtown Sequim, yet it was also very private. It felt like we were in our own little world.

And the views from the deck and the sunroom were lovely. We spent hours watching a large variety of birds and eagles soaring above the lagoon. It was fun to watch the birds swoop around the several bird feeders set up around the house and near the deck.

Debbie was very personable, and she was available if we needed anything (which we didn't).

This was by far the best vacation rental we have ever stayed in, and we look forward to staying here again.

Wonderful Cottage

  • 5 of 5

This cottage is in a very beautiful and peaceful location ... close to town but far enough away for a quiet retreat. It was clean, well appointed, and everything we had hoped for. We were in Sequim to see the lavender farms and enjoyed returning to the cottage at the end of the day. We definitely recommend it and plan to return again.

Quiet, Beautiful Setting

  • 5 of 5

My husband, 7-year-old daughter, and I stayed in this adorable cottage in July, and it was one of the most comfortable, quiet, and beautiful settings we've ever experienced on vacation. We chose Sequim due to its proximity to Olympic National Park sights and its convenient location close to good restaurants, the ferry, etc. It was the perfect location for us, but the cottage itself made our stay even more fantastic. Deborah lives close by and stopped by when we arrived to say hello and tell us a bit about the house. She was friendly and welcoming and then left us alone the rest of our stay to enjoy the cottage, which felt like home almost immediately. The interior of the home is very cozy with two comfortable bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, a serene living area with cable tv, a well-equipped functional bathroom, and laundry facilities, but our favorite part of the stay was the outdoor spaces. Set on the water with very few visible neighbors, this spot felt so peaceful and isolated, like we were far from the rest of the world. There is a sitting room in the front with beautiful views of the sunset and Mt. Baker in the distance. We saw so many birds, and the owners equipped the room with bird-watching information and binoculars. With all the bird feeders around the house, we were almost always guaranteed to have winged visitors. We enjoyed watching the ducks in the evenings and listening to the frogs too. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and we are already looking forward to our return to the Olympic Peninsula!

Amazing property!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at The Cottage and will likely come back again in the future. The house had everything we needed. You cannot beat the views and we enjoyed the large yard, wildlife, bird watching, kayaks and paddle board in the lagoon and crabbing! Overall, a wonderful property I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Great Northwest.
