Two outdoor showers help wash the sand away and a large sodded front yard is perfect for playing catch with the kids. The interior of the home is reminiscent of a rustic yet elegant custom beach home built in the 1940's. The entrance foyer on the ground level features stained concrete floors, antique pine beams, access to both garages, a powder room and the three stop luxury elevator. This home is completely handicap accessible with wide door ways, zero step entryways and the elevator.
The second floor of the main house has a private cozy octagonal den with full bath. It also features a pull out single bed. This room is perfect for reading or watching a tv program by yourself. It also features a desk for those times when work intrudes into your vacation. The 16 x 25 foot family room has painted wooden walls, ceiling and floors. It has a wood burning fireplace and a 42 inch flat screen tv.
The gourmet kitchen / dining room / keeping room comfortably seats eight at the dining table and four at the raised bar top. Viking stainless steel appliances and custom French cabinetry adorn the gourmet kitchen. There is a 15 x 20 foot covered porch off of the keeping room that connects the main house to the bunk house. It is perfect for watching fall football games or enjoying evening cocktails.
The third floor of the main house has three bedrooms and three full baths. The two master suites feature queen size beds and each bedroom has its own flat screen tv and walk in closet. One master suite has a handicap shower unit. The third bedroom has a king sized bed and a pack-in-play stored in the walk in closet. Each floor has its own heating and air system.
The bunk house is separate from the main house but attached and features three bedrooms and three full baths. The upstairs bedroom doubles as second family room with a 42 inch flat screen tv and a large oversized couch. It has five built-in bunk beds and is a great getaway for the kids. The two lower bedrooms feature a queen bed and two singles, respectively.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Chapman:
I am writing to thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful seaside retreat over New Years' weekend. It is so well situated on the corner lot with the majestic oak tree in the yard. The house is so interesting and I love the fabulous colors.
The bunkhouse is such a great retreat for all the teens and they really enjoyed their independence. From the handmade headboards to the beautiful wood and unique furniture - the house truly is a work of art.
We had such a special time there and we so appreciate your generosity. Love, Lisa
My new husband and I wanted to go back to my hometown to elope on the beach with immediate family and friends. We all came from all over the country and stayed at Seastoday this past weekend altogether. It was beyond perfect for our group and we were absolutely in love. It was private, quiet, and quaint. If you are traveling in the winter, make sure the pool heater has enough time to warm up- but other than that, the house is incredibly beautiful, spacious, and has everything a group would want or need. The elevator was great for moving large suitcases easily. The beach is just a short walk away. We went on a group trolley tour that picked us up right at the house. Best weekend ever.
I stayed in Seastoday this past weekend with my extended family to celebrate my son's wedding. We had 16 people staying in the house and had more than enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The kids loved the bunk house and all the adults had comfortable and beautiful bedrooms. This house has so much charm we hated to leave. The location is only a few minutes walk to the beach and was right down the street from the wedding reception. This house has so much to offer. The kitchen is a dream to cook in and there was plenty of seating for everyone to be in the dining area together to share a meal. The heated outdoor pool was a big hit. I highly recommend this home.. It was just wonderful.
our family of 10 (ages 3-68) had a wonderful week in this very lovely home. this home simply exudes charm. everywhere you look there is something interesting to see. it is clean, convenient, and very comfortable. we could spread out and have our "own space" or hang out in several common areas. we were a little nervous about the pool with two active 3 yr olds but emily assured us it was safe and indeed it was--the kids had a blast! i would highly recommend this property to anyone. thanks for all your efforts and for sharing your lovely home with us.
Several of our high school classmates travel together once a year.. This year we came to Seastoday.
We enjoyed our stay as always.. We have known each other for 50yrs...
The house was awesome and the area is so beautiful.
The beds were very comfortable except for the beds in bunkhouse..
We had 13 people so we did use the bunkhouse...
Emily was very helpful and so easy to work with scheduling the time .
I did have to call the person in charge of house while we were there and she was very helpful and came right over...Could not really ask for better service..The house is very spacious and we felt at home.. I love the decor..
Thank you for letting us experience the home..
The best part was the area between the house and bunkhouse.. We spent most of our evenings sitting in that area..
My family regularly visits St. Simon's Island which is my favorite place to vacation. Until now we always stayed in local condo's. Never again. This beach house is amazing, We came with several families and loved it.. All the kids (young and old) stayed in the attached 3BR area and the adults had a 3 BR area on the top floor. Plenty of bathrooms. a huge kitchen and den, and almost on the beach. A covered porch with grill was much used by all. Restaurants are very close but we used the gourmet kitchen a lot. I highly recommend this rental.
We decided to do a beach family reunion this year and couldn't have picked a better place! The home was even nicer in person, all of the rooms were large, nicely appointed, and comfortable. We enjoyed gathering in the kitchen dining area, living room and pool area. The walk to the beach was short and the location awesome. The beach was quiet, not crowded at all, with prime beach access. The elevator and ice machine were definitely nice touches. The kids enjoyed the swing and play areas, and loved their private bunkhouse space! The pool was a popular gathering area and enjoyed by all. We will definitely be back again and highly recommend it for an east beach experience!
