You could just stay inside this comfortable, modern apartment, and gaze at the view of the Vancouver skyline, False Creek with its early morning kayaking, dogs playing in the park opposite, the ubiquitous Vancouver joggers making their daily run along the waterfront path. Or go out and walk to the well-known Granville Island market with its stunning array of seafood, fruits from all over the world. If you feel like taking a risk, walk to the Casino ten minutes away. No need for a car, the Skytrain is just around the corner which will take you into the heart of the shopping district, to the Airport, the North Shore with its Olympic-setting mountains. The train station too is only 5 minutes away, and from here you can travel to the interior, or take a bus to Vancouver Island and visit Victoria and the Butchart Gardens on a day trip.

Nearby attractions include Science World opposite! and the Sun Yat-Sen Gardens in Chinatown. Or stay in and workout in the gym, or swim in the pool.

More description: This apartment is normally my personal home but I travel a lot. Thus it is well furnished, including art work. It is one block from a 'skytrain' that runs every 3 minutes and is 5 minutes from downtown. It is completely glass on three sides with a spectacular view overlooking water, skyline and mountains. Building includes gym, excellent heated lap pool, hot tub and two saunas. One or potentially two dedicated underground parking spots plus ample visitor parking. Far preferable to a hotel and a bargain at the price.

Stunning views of Vancouver

Mr. Dean was most accommodating to share his home. The view from the apartment is stunning! The apartment is close to transportation. It was very nice to have a gym, pool and hot tub available. Unfortunately, with city living it is loud 24/7 due to traffic, sirens and the sky train which passes nearby. It was necessary to keep windows open since there was no air conditioning.

Stunning Views and Perfect Location

Our family spend a week at this condo and we enjoyed it very much. There are stunning city views from every room and the location is perfect for walking or taking public transportation pretty much anywhere you want to go. The building has a nice pool and workout facility. James' condo is well equipped with everything one might need to cook meals and be comfortable. James was out of town, but his communication with us was very good. We felt welcomed and at home. We would definitely stay in James' lovely condo again. We love the city of Vancouver and this is the perfect location from which to enjoy all that the city has to offer.

We want to go back!

This roomy condo was as advertised--spacious, well-equipped, great views, and in an excellent location. The building is secure and has a swimming pool and work-out area. It is within walking distance of China Town, and all the downtown areas. Also has bus, water taxi, and sky train stops close by. If you need a quiet and dark room for sleeping, bring ear plugs and sleep mask. The owner has been responsive and his rep was very helpful.

Charm and convenience to the City!

We rode our bikes in RSVP (Seattle to Vancouver BC) and extended our stay in James condo. What a fabulous location to access every fun place in Vancouver BC from Yaletown, Gastown, Chinatown, Granville Island by water taxi. Being in the city, earplugs to sleep were helpful. The condo was perfect for the six of us to experience the beauty of Vancouver and have easy access to a train ride back home.

Couldn't have asked for more!

There were 5 of us girls in town to run the Lululemon Half Marathon and enjoy time together on our annual girl's trip. This location was a short walk (.5 mile-1 mile) from excellent downtown activities. The ammenities were as promised - a WONDERFUL deck overlooking Stadium Village. Many restaurants and a few grocery/liquor stores within walking distance. The beds were comfortable (one of us slept on couch) - the bathrooms were great. There is no A/C - but the doors off the deck open at night kept us cool. We would LOVE to go back!

Great Downtown Condo

It was a great experience renting the condo, from first contacting James, to him meeting us at the condo and our stay. The condo is huge and has all the amenities of home and more, including a great rec centre, with a pool, hot tub, saunas and a pool table that is open 24/7. The views from the condo are great and overlook BC Place, Rogers Arena and the Science Centre.

There is no need for a car as the sky train is a block away and the downtown is within walking distance. If you do rent a car, there is secure underground parking. There are a lot of restaurants around as well as food stores so you can cook at home. The kitchen is well equipped and everything was high quality.

Next time I am in Vancouver I will definitely rent the condo again. Thanks for your hospitality James!!
