Amenities: For your dining pleasure there is a Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch & dinner located at the entrance to Playa de Oro.
My husband and I saw an advertisement in the paper about Playa de Oro that caught our interest. We had to get down to see what all the excitement was about. When we came down from our home in Anaheim and talked to the real estate people about possibly building a house. It wasn't long before we found the perfect location to build. We are really happy with our house and wish we could spend more time visiting. Many people who have visited have loved staying and have returned often. We have had visitors from as far away as Alaska and Canada.
Connie Layne purchased this villa in 2009
We like the location because it's so quiet.
It's an easy walk to the beautiful beach.
Connie, you made all our dreams come true with your beautiful Casa. The description on the internet does not gives this place the justice it deserves. We arrived at your Casa and the staff were more than friendly ensuring they attended to our every need. Once we entered your home, we were amazed at how extravagant it was. The decor was splendid and it made us feel as though we were experiencing the royal treatment in such a beautiful place. The gated community along with the security were friendly and very professional. We enjoyed lively entertainment on the malecon and the fish tacos were excellent. We went fishing in the Sea of Cortez and caught many fish. My only disappointment was that we were not able to stay longer than a week. I would suggest to anyone considering a week or weekend in San Felipe to consider Connie's Casa Layne. You will not be disappointed!
Sincerely, Pastor R. Randle
Beautiful Night time view from the roof. Great neighborhood, beautiful beach-so many colors before sunset. Great shower. Neighborhood pool great relief in the hot months.
Very nice and cozy! Perfect for a long weekend getaway. We will rent this place again and again.
The property is absolutely gorgeous. I took a road trip from San Diego to Casa Layne and traffic was a breeze. DEFINITELY fill up in Mexicali because at a point you will go a long ways without passing a gas station. The water was the warmest Ive ever been in, beautiful surroundings. Even though we took my car, I didnt want to drive into town. You can call security at the front gate, and they will call you a taxi, only a $5 ride and definitely worth it. The neighbors were all nice, as well as the security people. Will definitely be back and staying at Casa Layne for future visits. Thanks for everything!
Beautiful home in a secure gated commuity. Tile floors, TV's and comfortable furniture. Very nice rooftop deck. All appliances worked. Lots of room and well maintained. Well stocked with towels and blankets/pillows. Bring your own spices, paper products and bath soaps. Down side is the flies and no dishwasher or access to washing machines. It is also very near beach but not really beachfront. If you are heading to San Felipe, this is the house to rent!!
