Everything we needed was provided. We enjoyed our stay in your lovely cabin. The location is PERFECT. A word of advice: check road conditions before you venture out. HWY 14 was closed the morning after we arrived by an avalanche and several back-roads were impassable because of a mud slide from the recent snow. But, the weather here and at the national parks was great. Thanks!
Booked this home for a holiday weekend getaway at the end of December. It was clean, cozy, more than comfortable. It has everything you need for a short vacation, not to mention the outside activities, in the winter there's snowboarding, snow mobiling, skiing or just hanging out in the snow. In warmer seasons you can hike and just about anything else.
The home is imacculate, with a jet tub, stand in large shower, spacious master bedroom, I absolutely loved the living room and kitchen. There's kitchen utensils, blenders, toaster, and coffee maker. There's a landline and satalite tv and wifi and the service was pretty good despite windy/snowy weather.
The house has windows everywhere! Large, unshaded, no blinds or shuttered windows in every room, so you can see everything outside and everything outside can see you - it's about the only thing that I just couldn't get used to. It's a little freaky at first, but the house does stand away from the other homes in the area on a hill too surrounded by woods. The flood and outside lights made me feel a little at ease. But I was not aware it would be so open, I would have preferred to have shades or shutters.
Overall, it was all so beautiful and something I have never experienced before. I will definitely consider coming back. Great place for couples, a family or two, friends gathering, and kids.
The home was so lovely and it such a beautiful area. The one issue that we had a problem with was finding the house after dark. We got delayed in Los Vegas so we didn't get to Cedar City until after sunset. Then we drove Hwy 14 in the pitch black. We lost our cell phone coverage which also didn't help us locate the house. We found the development, and road we needed, but struggled to find the house. We saw the number the next day on the pine tree, but missed it in the dark.
Other than that, the house was fabulous. We had a badger dig a burrow outside the back door, we had mule deer come for breakfast one morning.
It has plenty of room and is in an excellent location from which to visit Zion National Park, and Bryce Canyon National Park.
The house was everything advertised and more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Ideal location between Bryce and Zion National Parks as well as other areas. Wish we were able to stay longer. So much to see and do. The night sky is amazing.
We had a wonderful visit! The house is conveniently located between Zion and Bryce, and was a comfortable place to stay after long days taking in some of the most beautiful scenery we have ever come across. Next time we will stay longer. The house was easy to find and exactly how it is described. Basic necessities, plus some unexpected extras (cooler) were provided. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for visit the area.
This was an amazing place to call home for 6 nights. Excellent location between all the parks. The amenities such as gourmet kitchen, fireplace and fire pit, soaking tub, mule deer nightly playing in the yard made for a very enjoyable stay. The stars were amazing every night. The only recommendation I would make is to upgrade the towels they were thin and scratchy, pillows were flat and uncomfortable and to stock more toilet paper. Two thumbs up and I would definitely come back. Thank you for sharing your home.
Three retired professional women enjoyed 6 nights in this beautiful VRBO home that is located between Bryce and Zion National parks. We spent our days exploring the parks and hiking the trails so the location was perfect for us. The home was gorgeous, roomy, comfortable, and well equipped. The floor to ceiling windows throughout the house were perfect for watching the wildlife (mule deer, rabbits) that visited both morning and evening. We cooked each night of our stay and we found that the kitchen had everything we needed -- pots, pans, dinnerware storage containers and bags -- and plenty of extras (condiments, seasonings, extra food). All of the beds were clean and comfortable. We liked having access to the garage which was very convenient on our one rainy day. One evening we had a delicious steak and vegetable meal that we cooked outside on the propane grill. We had planned to use the fire pit for smores and sit around and sing, but the weather was a little too chilly for our Florida blood. Amanda, the owner, was an excellent communicator and provided prompt replies to our questions before and after we made the reservation. The only major complaint we had was the lousy wifi connectivity for email and Facebook on our computer and tablets. Overall, we had a grand time and would highly recommend this property to our family and friends.
