Everything we needed was provided. We enjoyed our stay in your lovely cabin. The location is PERFECT. A word of advice: check road conditions before you venture out. HWY 14 was closed the morning after we arrived by an avalanche and several back-roads were impassable because of a mud slide from the recent snow. But, the weather here and at the national parks was great. Thanks!
Three retired professional women enjoyed 6 nights in this beautiful VRBO home that is located between Bryce and Zion National parks. We spent our days exploring the parks and hiking the trails so the location was perfect for us. The home was gorgeous, roomy, comfortable, and well equipped. The floor to ceiling windows throughout the house were perfect for watching the wildlife (mule deer, rabbits) that visited both morning and evening. We cooked each night of our stay and we found that the kitchen had everything we needed -- pots, pans, dinnerware storage containers and bags -- and plenty of extras (condiments, seasonings, extra food). All of the beds were clean and comfortable. We liked having access to the garage which was very convenient on our one rainy day. One evening we had a delicious steak and vegetable meal that we cooked outside on the propane grill. We had planned to use the fire pit for smores and sit around and sing, but the weather was a little too chilly for our Florida blood. Amanda, the owner, was an excellent communicator and provided prompt replies to our questions before and after we made the reservation. The only major complaint we had was the lousy wifi connectivity for email and Facebook on our computer and tablets. Overall, we had a grand time and would highly recommend this property to our family and friends.
This mountain home was adorable. It is absolutely lovely and the master suite is amazing! Amanda was available and responsive from booking through check out. Everything was simple, and the home away app is great. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need.
There is a family of deer that are in the yard all the time, so the wildlife is present. It was so nice to have them wandering the yard as we sat outside barbecuing. The fire pit was also a nice perk and we used it to roast marshmallows and say tongue twisters. The stars one night were absolutely amazing. You could see the milky way and they were so bright and so close it felt like you could reach out and touch them. We have a lot of clear beautiful night skies in Wisconsin, but this was magnified.
We visited Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon several times. Bryce is 40 minutes away and Zion is 40 minutes to the east entrance, but you truly need to be at the south entrance to catch shuttles to go to the trail heads, so plan for at least an hour or more, with the tunnel. It is a beautiful drive though through the canyons. We loved hiking and swimming in the virgin river. It is majestic. A fun time was had by all. Even our youngest, at 10 years old, hiked for up to 4 hours.
The house was clean and well stocked with everything needed for a home away from home. The house is perched up on a hill right off highway 89. The traffic noise was not too bad but we are from the city so we are used to it. Very comfortable and a great price. We will definitely stay again!
First impression when we got there was that it was bigger than expected. From the pictures posted I new the cabin was nice but it's a lot nicer when you see it in person. Cabins are not so close to each other which makes it kind of nice and personal. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy a good family trip. Location was perfect for visiting both Zion and Bryce because is located between both parks. One thing I can advise you on is to do your grocery shopping before you get to the cabin but there is a small store not to far from the cabin. I highly recommend this cabin
Great home, spacious and well furnished. Location couldn't be better for visiting Zion and Bryce. Owner very responsive. Definitely recommend if you are visiting the Canyons. Owner has binder with recommendations for restaurants, groceries, etc.
We so enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. So lovely, and comfortable. We saw several small creatures and birds around the house, and enjoyed watching a deer take a swim in the pond across the road. The fire pit was fun with making s'mores. We visited both Zion and Bryce Canyon and the location and seclusion was perfect. We could have easily stayed more days if our schedule had permitted. Will recommend to anyone. We had bread and lunch at a German Bakery close by which was wonderful.
