If you are looking for the perfect getaway on the North Side, this is it. Home is in a great location, far enough away from the crowds with your own beach right out the door. The home provides all of the comforts you will need while you are there. The washer and dryer are very handy!! Make sure you visit Rum Point while you are there. Only about 10 minutes from the home, it is well worth the visit. We spent some of our time diving while in Cayman and if that is part of your plan, make sure you contact "Off the Wall Divers" for a great time. Snorkeling right in front of the house is great. Lots of fish and even a stingray or two. The upstairs balcony provides a great view of the water and beach. The owners provided great information and were very helpful while we were there. I would highly recommend this home to anyone travelling to Cayman. Thanks for a great time and we will be back!!
Just came back from a wonderful stay at this villa. My wife, 18 yr. old daughter and I loved the quiet location and wonderful views. Although we spent a lot of time on the "busier" side of the island during our stay, we really appreciated being able to come back to the quietness of the villa. My wife and daughter loved taking walks on the beach to collect shells and be the only ones on the beach! Also, some of the best snorkeling we had on the island was right in front of the house - saw lots of fish plus a huge lobster and a golden spotted eel. We also ate at a lot of local roadside restaurants and had some great (and inexpensive) meals. However, the best was the coconut grouper we had at Heritage Kitchen - fantastic! Overall it was a great vacation. Can't wait to come back again!
This place was amazing, it was far enough away from George town that it was not full of tourist. We sat outside 10 out of 11 evenings with a slight breeze, just enough to keep the bugs away. During the day we sat on the beach while the kids played in the water and they had a blast. We ate a lot of meals outside, especially loving the morning coffee looking at the view. Our favorite lunch place was Run Point (5 minute drive), kids liked their food and we like the sipping on the Margs $$ and soaking up the sun. The place was very clean when we arrived and had everything we needed. We had a small problem with the fridge, but Martin & Shirley did what they needed to do to get it fixed as fast as possible. Even Villa the cleaning lady stopped by one evening to make sure the fridge was fixed. You will not be disappointed with this place or the owners. Also try the dumpy looking local eateries on the side of the road, most of them were very good.
My mother and I stayed in this beautiful well decorated home. It was perfect. The home had everything we could need and more. The water right out back is beautiful. We saw many exciting sea creatures. There is no place that you can go and relax like this. Wake up and have your morning coffee sitting outside watching the ocean is amazing! The fish were jumping as they were feeding. You could hear them hitting the water. I would highly suggest staying at Azure Breezes. I have been to many places on the Island and this is a keeper! Can't wait to go back in 2012.
Stayed here 2nd week in April with my family. Mom, brother, husband, daughter and myself. The owners were prompt and so helpful from the first contact. The house was perfect, just as shown and described. Clean and well maintained with all we needed. The washer and dryer were a plus, as we all packed light. The location was quiet and we woke to beautiful sunrises every morning while we were having our breakfast outside. This is the quiet side of the island which we were looking for. One day, a crew came to trim the hedges and cut down coconuts for us to eat and drink. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. We took the Stingray tour out of Rum Point with Red Sail Sports. Met Walter at the shop, very friendly and helpful. That is a must do. Small glass bottom boat with Capt. Jimmy. My Mom couldn't get in the water, so he held a stingray so she could pet it. Found great snorkeling spots, Barefoot beach, Smith Beach, Eden Rock, Devils Grotto(crew at the dive shop also very helpful) and saw lots of starfish at Cayman Kai. I would def recommend buying a waterproof camera. Went shopping at Georgetown (most shops list prices in US because of cruise ships) and had a great lunch at the Lobster Pot and had a great sunset at the restaurant at Sunset House. The days were were in town there were only 1-2 cruise ships so not too busy. Did make us happy with our decision to be out in the quieter part of the island. Closer to the house we ate at Tukka for my brothers birthday and a few times at Over the Edge (great fresh fish). We all had a great time and can't wait to return. So if you are looking for well appointed house, great views, quiet beach and helpful and friendly owners this is the place for you.
This was a great home to spend our vacation. The beach was beautiful and peaceful and the water was beautiful, greens and blues. The snorkeling was great right outside the house and the reef has great fish and conch. Down the road is Rum Point which is a beautiful place to visit and have lunch and take a boat to stingray city. It is away from the touristy Georgetown and it gives you the real island feel. Everything you will need is supplied at the house, just bring your swim suit and water shoes as the beach is a little rocky. We took our three children who are early 20s and they also loved it here.
