A beautiful stay....
My wife and I stayed at the cabin the first week of Feb. Great communication with the owners. From the time you enter this craftsman's cabin, the wood, the smell will win you over. Excellent lay out. Comfortable beds. A kitchen meant to be cooked in. Loved our time by the fireplace. Excellent view of Mullett Lake. Very peaceful during our winter retreat. Just off the highway. Ten minutes to town. Five minutes to the little store with a delicious pizza. Right across the road from the snowmobile trial. Trails are excellent. Rented a sled from Indian River Motorsports, good folks. Will be back in the summer when we can enjoy more of the beauty this area is blessed with.
Home was very well kept, clean and comfortable. Nice kitchen, comfortable beds and many amenities. Owners very accommodating as well. We would recommend it!
Perfect Vacation Home
This cabin has everything!!!
Although it isn’t right on the water, it is nestled in the woods and is perfect! It had everything we needed and we are using it for 2 weeks this summer!!!
Second time visiting and looking forward for the third.
If you are looking for quality time in Northern Michigan, you found the right place. 20 mins away from St Ignace, it is a great place to return to after a long day on the Mackinac Island.
House is in a great condition and all the amenities are available.
We will definitely come back.
Needs a few more towels.
This is a beautiful, comfortable cottage.
We certainly enjoyed our stay at this Mullet Lake house. With three bedrooms and two baths we were all quite comfortable. We arrived on Sunday and found a very clean and well maintained property. After a short walk to the beach we enjoyed Monday, August 21 at the lake swimming and observing the solar eclipse. Unfortunately, the weather turned unseasonably cool for the rest of our week so we really appreciated the wifi and cable and the many comfortable areas in the cottage to read and/or play games . We love the Mullet Lake area because of its proximity to so many enjoyable areas and activities. Topinabee, Burt Lake State Park, Mackinac Island, Boyne City, Petoskey and the Upper Peninsula are the day trips we enjoyed this year. We have spent several summer vacations in the Mullet Lake area and just love it!
You can enjoy the sunrise from the home overlooking Mullett Lake. With shared private lake access, beach, boat dock and mooring buoy, you can enjoy the lake and explore Michigan’s famous Inland Waterway. The 38 mile long waterway begins at Lake Huron and meanders through the Cheboygan River, Mullett Lake, Indian River, Burt Lake and Crooked River to its ending at Conway. Great fishing opportunities surround you in this beautiful waterway. The property is close to Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island, historic parks, casinos, golfing, skiing, biking and hiking on the 61.9 mile rail trail that goes by the property or just relaxing at the beach.
As you head north on I-75 you would be exiting at Exit 313 then go right (northeast) approximately six miles on M-27 to Mullet-Burt Road then turn left (north) away from the lake and go about 100yards and turn left on Miami Beach Dr. and proceed to the property. Easy to find and a GPS will take you right there.
