About the property

House, 4 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 4 Baths, (Sleeps 8-12)

The Grand Pavilion area of Wild Dunes is the most sought after community within Wild Dunes, and this lovely four bedroom Grand Pavilion does not disappoint! We would love to have you as our guests while you enjoy all the amenities that Wild Dunes has to offer…two world-class Tom Fazio Golf Courses, many clay Tennis courts (voted number 2 Tennis Resort in the US), bike paths throughout the resort, children’s programs, and of course swimming – in both the Main resort salt water swimming pool, the two exclusive oceanfront pools located at the Grand Pavilion and the Atlantic Ocean. Take advantage of everything the Resort has to offer, or enjoy a short 20 minute drive to downtown historic Charleston (also known as the “Holy City” to those of us born in SC), or just take a super relaxing vacation by doing nothing at all.

This house offers full access to the Grand Pavilion area - including the 2 oceanfront Grand Pavilion pools! It also comes with the Wild dunes sportscard so you can enjoy all of the amenities the resort has to enjoy.

The main floor of our beautiful beach house consists of a spacious living and dining area (complete with comfy furniture, soft beach colors, a large screen TV located over the fireplace), a beautiful open kitchen (well stocked for all of your cooking needs – whether simple or gourmet) with breakfast area, a private sunroom with pull out queen sleeper sofa (for additional sleeping space), a guest room with comfy queen bed and private bath and last (but certainly not least) a fantastic screened-in porch with a large dining table and surrounded by palm trees, perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening cocktails with friends.

The second floor has a master suite with king sized bed, small sitting area (perfect for curling up with a book) and master bath with separate shower, Jacuzzi bath, and large vanity with double sinks. Located just off the master is another queen bed for additional sleeping space (Yes, this room can be closed off from the master). Also located on the second floor are the two other generous sized guest rooms that have their own private bathrooms. One bedroom has two twin beds and the other bedroom has a queen sized bed.

All of the bedrooms offer top of the line mattresses. There are TVs in each bedroom (even the study located off the master has its own TV – along with the downstairs sunroom with the queen sized pull out sofa). All of our bedding is ultra comfortable 100% cotton, 300 count sateen sheets. Again, a quick breakdown of sleeping configuration: Master with king, private study located off master with futon, guestroom with queen, guestroom with 2 twins, downstairs guestroom with queen, and private sunroom with pull out sleeper sofa. Both the study and sunroom can be completely closed off for total privacy.

We have taken every opportunity to make you feel at home. Naturally there is wireless high speed internet for those that absolutely must stay “in touch.”

Staying within the gated community of Wild Dunes affords great relaxation for families of all ages. Whether relaxing on the beach, sipping cool, island drinks up at the Grand Pavilion, or strolling along winding nature trails, there is something for everyone! And of course we offer the Wild Dunes sports card that will give you access to all of the amenities that Wild Dunes has to offer (tennis, fitness center, etc.) You will enjoy calling this luxurious house your own during your relaxing vacation to South Carolina’s Low Country.

Love This House!

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful home in a great location. It's just off the beach and very close to the pool, tennis courts, spa, gift shop, playground, and the Grand Pavilion Hotel. The house is very cutely decorated, very clean, and very comfortable. Each bedroom has it's own bath (blow dryers provided) and T.V. There is a wrap-around porch (front/side porch) with rocking chairs, as well as a screened-in porch off the kitchen that has a table and seating. Both are perfect for sipping coffee or a cocktail and just relaxing! The kitchen is large and very well equipped with a large island and stools so everybody can congregate comfortably. This was my second stay in Wild Dunes, and this house was far superior to the house we stayed in before (and that was a nice house!). I think it's the details. The owners have obviously done everything to make people feel at-home; as long as you live in a really nice home that's minutes from the beach! Beautiful Charleston is a short, easy drive. There is also so much to do at Wild Dunes! Even though I was there in late February, the weather was perfect! This is an absolutely charming home, and I hope to be able to stay here again!

Really Cute Beach House

  • 5 of 5

We were here at Thanksgiving and just loved this house. It's very pretty and well tended, decorated in coral and aqua tones, with lots of comfortable pillows and good beds. We liked that there were bathrooms for each bedroom and lots of extra sleeping space. The kitchen has everything we needed to make a great turkey dinner, and we enjoyed walks on the beach. The weather was great, and Wild Dunes has fun kids-oriented activities, including Santa Claus, the weekend after Thanksgiving. It was a great stay.

Wedding Weekend with Friends

  • 5 of 5

first time in Wild Dunes to attend a friend's wedding. rented this home with several other couples for a long weekend. It was way more than we expected. Obviously it was decorated great, we all felt so "at home," the kitchen is well stocked, the porches were amazing and the location (inside the resort and closeness to Charleston) were perfect. We are already talking about making this an annual thing for our group. Thanks for sharing your home!

Excellent beach house close to everything!!

  • 5 of 5

We loved it! The house was perfect for our family vacation! Everyone in our group couldn't say enough nice things about it! The location is excellent with very close proximity to the beach, pools, shops and the Grand Pavilion area. The house is decorated very tastefully and has that overall beach house vibe. The owners have really thought about your needs while on vacation and provided all of those details from floats for the beach, a BBQ grill to hair dryers in each bathroom. We are already thinking of reserving this beach house next year! Only a few minor recommendations (which wouldn't stop us from renting again!) 1. The knives are quite dull so it may be worthwhile to buy a good set. 2. There were several missing outlet plugs (I bought some since my 11 mo. daughter is very curious with outlets) so it may be nice to have an extra package in a drawer since they seem to disappear. 3. The washer and dryer are fine but the door doesn't close so maybe that could be fixed to help keep the noise down. Those are very minor but wanted to share them with the owner. The house certainly made our vacation that much more fun and relaxing so thank you!! I highly recommend renting this house if you want to stay in Wild Dunes!

Great place even in the off season

  • 5 of 5

My extended family stayed at this house for a weekend in November. We were in town for a family wedding, so we didn't get a chance to use all the amenities at the resort. However, I explored the resort enough to know that Wild Dunes is a wonderful location. This house, in particular, is exceptional. The house is large and spacious and our group of 11 fit in it perfectly. Everything is clean and neat. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you need. The house is located near the Grand Pavilion Hotel which is an advantage as well. The wrap-around porch is lovely and the screened-in back porch is a great place to sit and relax. The house has plenty of off-street parking as well. The logistics of the rental were handled effortlessly since the owners are very easy to work with. I highly recommend this property.

Christmas Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this wonderful house for a week last Christmas & it was great! The house is very attractively decorated, has plenty of room (we were 7 - 5 adults/2 little children) & we had room to spare. It has a perfect livingroom w/comfortable seating & a gas fireplace, much appreciated for chilly Dec. nights & much needed for Santa, of course! On this floor there is also a bedroom & bath, a sunroom/den area, a great, well stocked kitchen where we all could congregate, & a screened in porch right off the kitchen (w/ no access out which was good for us... Didn't want anyone to accident,y let the cat or the 1 1/2 yr old out). Even tho it was Dec., we were able to eat many meals out there which was nice. Also, the 'indoor' kitty got to enjoy the outdoors watching plenty of birds from this 2nd story porch.

Besides the 3 bedrooms upstairs & 1 down, there is a room with a bed off the master that our grandson nicknamed 'the treehouse'. This was his room, & he loved it. We did not use the deck off of this room because of the weather, but it would be great any other season.

The house is also in a perfect location... steps to the beautiful beach, tennis courts, Grand Pavillion, & assoc. pool (warm enough to swim in even in Dec). The hotel across the street is where our 5 yr old learned to play checkers & where our children went for after dinner drinks while we babysat their children @ home. I think there is a spa there, too.

Charleston is SO close... close enough to hop in for lunch or dinner or to spend the day shopping. We had several lunches & a great dinner in there & spent a fun morning at the Children's ' Museum. There is golf on & off the island, & besides the island grocery store, there is Whole Foods, Trader Joes & Harris Teeters right off the island.

We would DEFINITELY recommend this house AND Isle of Palms & Wild Dunes to anyone!
