About Roger Cummiskey

I am a retired artist/painter but I still paint and exhibit. My wife Dolores is a retired nurse who spoils me rotten! She is a prolific cross stitcher and quilter.

Why Roger Cummiskey chose Fuengirola

My father and I bought this property nearly 30 years ago and used it as a holiday home every year. It is 60 sq. metres. We holidayed there every year with the children and then lived in it when we retired until my wife decided that we could use a bigger apartment which we now live in nearby.

The children, now in NY and the West of Ireland come every year and are known to the neighbours.

Highly recommend: great apt. & friendly owners!

My husband and I just got home after a month long stay at this wonderful apt. in Fuengirola, Spain. The owners, Roger and Dolores, are very friendly and responded quickly to all our enquiries. They met us at the apartment and warmly welcomed us on our arrival, as well as giving us maps and information to help us with our stay. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and is a perfect combination of Spanish feel (terra-cotta tiles, etc.) and modern conveniences (dishwasher, microwave, wi-fi, TV channels in English as well as Spanish and other languages, a great shower with lots of hot water and strong water pressure, a washing machine). The location is perfect. It is only a 7 minute walk to the beach, train and bus stations. There is a large supermarket about the same distance away and a smaller one just around the corner. There are several restaurants in the neighborhood and you are a short walk away from everything Fuengirola has to offer. Public transportation and bus tours are available from Fuengirola to Granada, Antequerra, Cordoba, Ronda, Gibraltar and Seville, as well as nearby Malaga. There is also a lovely swimming pool on the property. We cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. If we go back to Fuengirola we will definitely say here again! FYI, Roger and Dolores also have a one bedroom apartment available in Fuengirola, although we haven't seen it.

Convenience within short walking distance to train and bus services with direct contact to Malaga City and Mijas Pueblo, Marbella and Ronda. The swimming pool is available all year round and the beach is a short walk away. We are always available to our clients whenever a problem may arise. We live nearby therefore our response time is fairly quick. We do not anticipate any problems! It is our pleasure to serve you and to ensure that your stay is a happy one.

Bonne location bien placée

L'appartement est idéalement situé. En 5mn à pied vous êtes au Centre ville, ou à la gare ou bien à la plage. Tout est accessible à pied, pas besoin de voiture. Si vous arrivez à l'aéroport de Malaga, vous pouvez prendre le train est en 32 min vous arrivez à la station Fuengirola. L'appartement est bien équipé. Le jardin est un petit havre de paix et la piscine est grande et très bien entretenue. Roger et Dolorés sont très accueillants et chaleureux. Ils ont toujours été presents si nous avions besoin. Nous avons passés de super vacances et c'est avec plaisir que nous re-louerons cet appartement. Nous recommandons....

Always worth a visit. Go by train from Fuengirola.

Central Fuengirola, quiet and safe area. Walking distance is 10 min to train and bus station.

Golf: There are 33 golf courses within easy driving range! I have played maybe 8-10 of these over the years. I´m still not too good at golf!

Ski: Skiing available in the nearby Sierra Nevada in winter time. I have stayed in the area in the snow but I do not ski. Dog sleighing is popular.
