Here is the description :

After coming up to the second floor in a nice and original stair case, one enters into an entrance decorated with bookshelves.

To the left of the entrance there is a small third bedroom with nice wooden single bed. It can sleep an adult or a child.

Front is the large living room area, on the left of which one can enter the 2nd bedroom and its bathroom.

Right is the master bedroom and its bathroom.

• The living room bathes in natural light. it comes from 4 long windows which also offer a view over the place Saint André des Arts. The living room is equipped with French style furniture and a fireplace which adds warmth to the apartment. The dining area offers a wooden table which can comfortably seat 7 people. The sofa is convertible and makes a comfortable bed for 2.

• The kitchen is open on the living room. It is spacious, fully equipped with new equipment, offers a nice working plan.

• The master bedroom is very large for Parisian standards. It offers 2 large windows and has its own bathroom. A large antique wooden desk may be used for work.

• The 2nd bedroom as well as its bathroom is located behind the bar. It sleeps 2 in a double bed. The bathroom offers a bath tub, a shower, a sink and a toilet.

• The 3rd bedroom is located left on entrance. It sleeps 1 in a single bed and has a window on a small court. It is a narrow bedroom.

• The apartment has 2 toilets.

This apartment offers a perfect location in the center of Saint Germain, Quartier Latin, and footsteps from 'the Louvre' and 'Notre Dame Cathedral'. Metro saint Michel is right down the building.

Great location for our one week stay in Paris

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment for one week in late September/ early October 2018. There were six of us - two kids, parents and grandparents . The apartment was as described and everything worked fine. The living room area worked really well as it had these great big windows and had enough space to comfortably lounge around in. We generally had breakfast at the apartment, using the coffee plunger and picking up croissants and baguettes nearby. We were out for most of the days. On two nights we used the kitchen facilities and shopped at a nearby supermarket.

The location of the apartment was fantastic as we could walk out the door and there were a number of cafes and restaurants right there. The metro stop St Michel was just metres from the door. The stop had multiple lines, so it was super convenient to get everywhere. Even with the metro so close by, we walked to many of the attractions nearby - the Louvre, Notre Dame, Tuileries Gardens, etc.

Delightfully Parisian apartment, fantastic location!

This light-filled apartment has plenty of charm with its high ceilings and quirkily mismatched furnishings. There’s a surprising amount of space and a good layout with a separation of bedrooms, so our family of 5 adults did not feel crowded. Comfortable beds, ample seating and nice, soft lighting in every room made for truly “agréable” surroundings. When sitting at an open living room window, morning coffee or evening glass of wine in hand, it was easy to feel a part of the lively café scene below. However, the outside hubbub disappeared once we closed windows at night. Another huge plus: the apartment is a few minutes’ walk to the RER elevator on rue Xavier-Privas which takes you down to the line going directly to the airport (CDG), making a cab unnecessary.

Communication with the management was efficient – but make sure to check your spam mailbox as multiple times their responses to my questions ended up there.

Perfect location

This apartment was so great for our family. The location was amazing, right in the middle of our favourite area in Paris.

The communication we had with the property management team was very efficient.

We definitely would stay there again.

Noisy, hot, dirty and overpriced for rooms that aren't as large as they appear in photos

Located in the amazing Latin Quarter, this apartment is on a really busy square directly above a restaurant. If you go during the summer when it's hot, there's no AC and we had to ask repeatedly for fans which they only brought (unassembled) after we complained about 2 of the 4 beds not being made upon arrival and the pot smoke wafting in our rooms from the apartment below. The unvacuumed floors and stained sheets were also negatives. We've rented in Paris before and had a lovely stay in a clean apartment on a quiet street so know it doesn't have to be like this. The 2 stars is for charm and central location. Only would (possibly) recommend if going in winter and knowing they have changed their cleaning crew.

Owner's Response: Hi Sara, Thanks for your feedback, comments even negative are useful to help us improve the apartment and our service quality. The situation during your stay was very exceptional. As you can see by the 14 previous 5 stars reviews, the apartment is very appreciated by our guests. Very few apartments have air conditioned in Paris. Heatwaves are very rare and very short, we generally open the windows to create a slight breeze and close the curtains. Whatever the apartment or the owner you would have encountered the same problem. We had many demands at the same time and needed first the owners authorization to buy. We successfully delivered in 2 days despite the shortage in shops which is rather a good performance. As you stayed only 2 nights, we understand you found it too long but our guests who stayed longer in other apartments were very satisfied. We will be more efficient next time. We are sorry for the cleaning and reported to the cleaning company manager asking him to improve. That said, had you told us we would have send the cleaning lady to change sheets (sheets are delivered by a professional company, they were clean but unfortunately stained) and clean again. As you can see we do our best to offer a service and improve when we have difficulties. I hope to host you next time in another apartment more to your liking. Sincerely, Jean
