Why The Owner chose East Branch

This secluded yet conveniently located home on 3+ private leveled acres of woods is just over 2+ hrs. from NYC. Private Beaverkill frontage on renowned river is perfect for fly-fishing and kayaking. We are located in Catskill nat'l park where great hiking trails are only 10 minutes away. It is not a highly populated area so you feel like you are getting away from it all, yet you are close enough to all modern conveniences such as the movie theater, bowling, supermarkets and restaurants if you so chose. The topography is beautiful here in Upstate NY.

What makes this house unique

The river is at your doorstep and the privacy provides a feeling of tranquility. Breathtaking scenery and wildlife. Wonderfully landscaped with great views from every room in the house whether mountain, river, or woods. At night, sit by a bonfire down by the river or relax in the living room in front of the fireplace. The river is so clear and clean it is a pleasure to cool off in. Bird watch from the breakfast nook as you drink your morning coffee. You will feel very relaxed and comfortable here without giving up any amenities!

Wonderful Property

  • 4 of 5

Beutiful and well appointed house with an intimate feel. We had a brief delay in getting to the property as it is in the middle of a thick forest and is only accesible through unmarked roads (part of the charm, try to arrive before sundown), yet we were forewarned by our host and followed his clear instructions to get to the property. Our hosts were very helpful and always attentive to our needs. The deer outside the windows in the morning and the river a few steps from the house made our stay memorable. No downsides come to mind other than getting rid of a few cobwebs here and there (particulalry in the upstairs bedroom) and having only one shower for the two bedrooms.

Doggy Paradise and Relaxing Retreat

  • 5 of 5

The best word to describe this property is STUNNING. 6 of us and 2 dogs stayed here for the long weekend. Although the weather wasn't great, the house was cozy. We were able to take out the kayak and splash in the river. Close to Livingston Manor and hikes. Leslie and Seth were incredibly responsive and fantastic hosts. We can't wait to stay here again!

Beautiful house and property! Wonderful hosts!

  • 5 of 5

This rental was awesome. Beautiful home with an amazing great room overlooking the Beaverkill River. The property is beautiful and equipped with all the amenities one could ever want for this type of property. Kitchen is big and appliances are top-notch. The hosts are second to none. They are super attentive and responsive. Some of the nicest people you'll ever rent from. Couldn't have asked for more. I highly recommend this property!!!

Fantastic long weekend

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful long weekend with our kids at the Cooper's house. It is a truly unique and breathtaking property with all of the amenities. We enjoyed the kayak and fire pits as well as grilling with views of the river. We'll certainly be back.

Stunning and secluded property

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I along with our two dogs had an incredible stay here. The house is geared toward the ultimate relaxation experience. We spent our days reading in the hammock, fishing on the private river front and playing fetch with our pups on the lawn. In the evenings we cozied up by one of the two fire pits on the property amongst the gorgeous night sky of upstate NY. We hope we have a chance to return to this serene place! Amazing!
