This is the perfect property for those persons/fishermen who want more upscale accommodations and privacy. The house was completely gut renovated less than 5 yrs ago. Beautiful new kitchen, marble bath with xtra lrg. shower, other bath stone/tile jacuzzi that fits two! And 1/2 bath en suite. Superb mattresses and high end bedding (you'll sleep well here). We are located in East Branch less than 1/2 mile off of rte. 17, you turn onto a private rd. and drive 1/4 mile thru the woods onto a beautifully landscaped property with rock walls, 1000's of spring bulbs and 100's of summer blooms. You feel completely secluded, hugged by both the river and mountains/woods but you are only 5 minutes away from the 'country store' and 12 minutes from the town of Hancock and 12 miles from Roscoe 'trout town USA'.

Why The Owner chose New York

This secluded yet conveniently located home on 3+ private leveled acres of woods is just over 2+ hrs. from NYC. Private Beaverkill frontage on renowned river is perfect for fly-fishing and kayaking. We are located in Catskill nat'l park where great hiking trails are only 10 minutes away. It is not a highly populated area so you feel like you are getting away from it all, yet you are close enough to all modern conveniences such as the movie theater, bowling, supermarkets and restaurants if you so chose. The topography is beautiful here in Upstate NY.

What makes this house unique

The river is at your doorstep and the privacy provides a feeling of tranquility. Breathtaking scenery and wildlife. Wonderfully landscaped with great views from every room in the house whether mountain, river, or woods. At night, sit by a bonfire down by the river or relax in the living room in front of the fireplace. The river is so clear and clean it is a pleasure to cool off in. Bird watch from the breakfast nook as you drink your morning coffee. You will feel very relaxed and comfortable here without giving up any amenities!

Great place to relax and watch the stream go by.

  • 5 of 5

My family of five grownups, two children, and two dogs, had a wonderful time at the house and on the river. Beautiful place tucked way back in the woods. I would recommend this vacation to all who want to get away from it all and just relax.

Great Beaverkill Riverfront House

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I had a great stay. The owner met us there and answered any questions about operation of the property. Everything was in fantastic shape. I would definitely stay here again. It is in close proximity to all of the storied rivers you want to fish near Roscoe. The owner even provided river maps which were very helpful. When we weren't fishing, we were hanging outside on one of the many seating areas. Great time!!

We were delighted to have such a pleasant flyfishing vacation and the home and location is ideal

  • 5 of 5

My best friend and wives had a fabulous time at this lovely home on the Beaverkill. The mecca for flyfishing in the Northeast, combined with a lovely property and serene environment, combined for a fabulous long weekend getaway. We hope to carve out a full week to stay at this lovely home and our experience with the Coopers was extremely pleasant from start to finish. I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone looking for a great getaway and some fabulous flyfishing.

GREAT STEAMSIDE HOME

  • 5 of 5

The home was wonderful. Loved the porches, kitchen and main living room with the view of the yard/stream and the wood burning stove. We had plenty of room for 6 and enjoyed great access to the Beaverkill.

Owner was very helpful and responsive.

Will stay here again

Absolutely Perfect

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. Your home was nicely decorated, spacious, clean, comfortable, and was stocked with all the basic necessities and more. Our dogs had a blast running in and out of the river and all around the large well maintained property. We couldn't believe how clean the river was, and every morning we watched a family of deer from the master bedroom as they grazed and passed through the property. We also enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit in the evenings and just taking in all of natures beauty around us. Thank you, Seth and Leslie, for being so accommodating and sharing your home with us. We hope to come back again in the spring.

Absolutely Perfect

Our stay was everything we had hoped for. The house is nicely decorated, very comfortable, spacious, clean and well stocked with basic necessities and more. The home and property was very well maintained. We enjoyed sitting by the river and were amazed how clear the water was. In the evenings we relaxed by the fire pit. Our two dogs had a blast running in and out of the river and all around the yard. Every morning at sun rise, a family of deer would graze in the open field behind the master bedroom. We had a very relaxing vacation in this peaceful and beautiful place of yours. We are so appreciative to you both, Seth and Leslie for sharing their home with us, their kindness, and for being available to answer any questions we had whenever we called. We hope to come again in the spring.
