Why The Owner chose New York

This secluded yet conveniently located home on 3+ private leveled acres of woods is just over 2+ hrs. from NYC. Private Beaverkill frontage on renowned river is perfect for fly-fishing and kayaking. We are located in Catskill nat'l park where great hiking trails are only 10 minutes away. It is not a highly populated area so you feel like you are getting away from it all, yet you are close enough to all modern conveniences such as the movie theater, bowling, supermarkets and restaurants if you so chose. The topography is beautiful here in Upstate NY.

What makes this house unique

The river is at your doorstep and the privacy provides a feeling of tranquility. Breathtaking scenery and wildlife. Wonderfully landscaped with great views from every room in the house whether mountain, river, or woods. At night, sit by a bonfire down by the river or relax in the living room in front of the fireplace. The river is so clear and clean it is a pleasure to cool off in. Bird watch from the breakfast nook as you drink your morning coffee. You will feel very relaxed and comfortable here without giving up any amenities!

This Place Is AWESOME!

  • 5 of 5

We had an awesome time at the Coopers' place in East Branch! The house is great, and came fully stocked with pretty much everything we needed. The outside property is beautiful, quiet, and has plenty of space for a bunch of lawn games. During the day, we bought some cheap inflatable tubes and floated down the Beaverkill and at night we made great use of the fire pits that are installed right on the river bank. The Coopers couldn't have been nicer--Leslie came over and met us when we got there and showed us around the property. She also pointed us to some great nearby fishing and swimming locations. Overall, I would strongly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a relaxing streamside vacation.

Excellent! Beautiful property!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at Seth and Leslie's property. The house was clean and well-maintained, and our group was very comfortable. The property is amazing - sprawling lawn, large firepit, and an incredible proximity to the river - all beautiful! We used the BBQ grill every night and dined outside on the lovely patio. Seth and Leslie were extremely helpful, and we would definitely love to come for a return visit. Highly recommended!

Great place to relax and watch the stream go by.

My family of five grownups, two children, and two dogs, had a wonderful time at the house and on the river. Beautiful place tucked way back in the woods. I would recommend this vacation to all who want to get away from it all and just relax.

Great Beaverkill Riverfront House

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I had a great stay. The owner met us there and answered any questions about operation of the property. Everything was in fantastic shape. I would definitely stay here again. It is in close proximity to all of the storied rivers you want to fish near Roscoe. The owner even provided river maps which were very helpful. When we weren't fishing, we were hanging outside on one of the many seating areas. Great time!!

We were delighted to have such a pleasant flyfishing vacation and the home and location is ideal

  • 5 of 5

My best friend and wives had a fabulous time at this lovely home on the Beaverkill. The mecca for flyfishing in the Northeast, combined with a lovely property and serene environment, combined for a fabulous long weekend getaway. We hope to carve out a full week to stay at this lovely home and our experience with the Coopers was extremely pleasant from start to finish. I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone looking for a great getaway and some fabulous flyfishing.
