Alamedan Valley House Rental Photos and Description

House, 4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 10-12)

We are a family of 5 - myself ( Michael) my wife, and three small children. We own this estate in the North Valley with our main home and this guest house. We lived in this house while we were building our new home.

It is now our desire to meet new people and families and share our property with them. We are accustomed to large groups, and we love children.

The property is very private and has a very rural feel to it. We have several farm animals, and we planted our own orchard last year. We also cultivate a large vegetable garden each year. The guest house is fully furnished and would be ideal for any family or large group.

Master bedroom has a king size bed, one bedrooms has two full beds, the other has king size, there is a pull out futon in kids play room and 5 twin beds in kids room.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Casita. It

was peaceful and well appointed and the Montoyas

made us feel very welcome. The walking path and

the animals were a bonus. It was perfectly located

to visit our extended family who live nearby and the

Casita itself was large enough for us to live in with

our out-of-state relatives and not feel crowded.

NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE

  • 3 of 5

The location was perfect for watching the Balloon Fiesta.

The compound very interesting, quiet and enjoyable.

The rental has a lot of smaller maintenance & supply issues.

The rental and the surrounding patios are NOT handicap

accessible. Once over the back patio edging and into

the house, the steps to the main part of the house are steep

and not handicap accessible either.

It would be an excellent location for folks with no mobility issues;

and maybe maximum of 6 due to limited dishes in the kitchen.

When we fly in we cannot bring massive supplies.

Wonderful experience!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful 10 days at Michael and Jill's property. They are wonderful, their kids were very kind hosts to our kids and everyone had a blast!

The house was wonderful, very well equipped in the kitchen and plenty of space for 4 generations to be able to stay together for 10 days without killing each other ;) There were 11 of us not once did we feel like we were on top of each other.

The property is beautiful and worth every penny. We have already started to recommend it to some friends and family, and if we are ever again the Albuquerque area we know where we will stay ;).

Thanks again Michael and Jill!

A great house

  • 5 of 5

I am always suspect of a house that only gets 5 star reviews, but here I am, giving it a 5 star review. I would definitely stay here again. The house was clean and well kept. It was also pleasantly furnished with plenty of linens.

There were only 4 adults, but it was perfect, because we each had our own bedroom, and space. With three baths and a spacious home we had more room than we needed. As the only female., I took the "west wing" where the kids room and family room are. The guys took the other three bedrooms. The master had a king, one other bedroom had a king, 3rd bedroom had 2 queens. The bunk room slept 6, and there was a kids TV room in addition to the family room and formal living room. The kitchen was well stocked and I was a able to cook without any trouble. I also was able to do my laundry before departing, with the washer/dryer conveniently located in the kitchen.

I enjoyed the property and the farm animals since I live in Houston where we don't have animals. The dogs and cats on the property were friendly, and the owner was very accommodating. There is plenty of outdoor space, and I can see this property as a great place for a family reunion. The kids would have a ball!

We had someone who was not able to walk very far, and needed a wheelchair. We were able to get him in through the family room door, and there were only 2 steps to the kitchen and main level, which he was able to negotiate.

The house had beds to sleep 14 without anyone on a couch.

Kids loved it. Close to Balloon Fiesta Park.

  • 5 of 5

Needed a place good for kids and close to Balloon Fiesta Park for the 2015 Junior Olympic Cross Country Championship. Found the perfect place! I could go on and on, but I think the other reviews cover the accolades nicely. I will add that the house is a short drive to the Sandia Pueblo train station, which we used for a fun day trip to Sante Fe. This VRBO exemplifies what is great about VRBO. I doubt we'll ever stay in hotels on vacation again!

Spacious and accommodating

  • 5 of 5

This house was perfect for our family's 10 week stay in Albuquerque. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating whenever we had questions or a problem arose. It felt very safe and secure. My son loved all of the farm animals and it was very neat to see the baby calf after it was born. The house is huge and it was perfect for when we had guests over. It was close to everything. I would recommend this property to large parties, especially those with children. The price was also very reasonable.

Balloon Fiesta & 50th Birthday Celebration

  • 5 of 5

This is an excellent place to view the Balloon Ascension for anyone coming to watch the balloons without having to fight the traffic. It is also an over the top place to come with families, we had my 2 daughters and their families come to celebrate my 50th birthday. The kids loved it and we were able to cook in the large galley style kitchen as well as grill outside. The owners were very accomodating to any special requests we had. Grocery stores were nearby. I would definitely come back when I had an opportunity and have recommended this place to several of our friends.
