Red Canyon Paradise
This place is amazing! From sunrise to sunset, the view was 5 stars from every room. We did all of the typical touristy stuff, but also did lots of Off-roading. There are tons of trails for Jeeps, ATVs, or hiking very close to the cabin. Suggest you get a National Park map that shows the trails. They aren't on other maps. You can order theses on Amazon. When our days activities were through, the cabin was ready with a warm hot tub, a cozy fireplace, and a gorgeous sunset. On our last day, as if on queue as the grand finale, we woke up to a beautiful layer of snow. You could spend hours on the deck reading, listening to the birds and watching the canyon change as the position of the sun changes. If you need a quiet place to relax and let go of the world.... this is the place!
A little bit of heaven
Yes this is someone’s home, their little piece of heaven for sure. Extremely well designed and perfectly located but also lots of thought has gone into making guests comfortable.
You cannot imagine the quiet, the views or the nights in the hot tub. We do t go back but we surely will tobtjis place.
Fantastic 5 day stay!
The owner was fabulous to deal with. Always responsive and helpful. The cabin was beautiful and truly amazing. All of the decor items were warm and authentic. All you could ever want in terms of amenities and comfort. The beds were great. The setting and views from the two decks of the Red Canyon are breathtaking!! We wanted to just sit on the deck or in the hot tub and relax with the view. The cabin is very remote, extremely quiet and the pitch black night sky is phenomenal. We can’t recommend the cabin highly enough!
The views here will take your breath away and the cabin is stunning! We enjoyed hiking to the bottom of the canyon and watching the little chipmunks on the deck. Complete solitude. Looking forward to a return visit!!
You have to see this to believe it. This wonderful log home and its location has left an indelible mark on all six of us that stayed here for a week. I can not say thank you enough for opening up your home. If it wasn't for that there is no way that we could have had such a great experience and to be apart of such beauty. Morning coffee will never be the same!!! Evening dinner and drinks will never be the same!!! This wonderful home is beautifully decorated and well appointed. It is a beautiful cabin/lodge/home and It met all of our needs and then some, which is saying a lot for 6 adults. The outdoor living space was perfect and was where we spent most of our time. We enjoyed every trip to and from the cabin due to the scenery and wildlife. Our host was great! communication was great! The attention to details and our well being was genuine and thoughtful. I would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity to do so. Thank you for sharing this amazing place. It met all of our expectations and then some.
Thank you for such a nice, thoughtful review of my cabin. I am very gratified to hear you and your guests had a great time and loved the view and setting as much as I do! I can't take credit for the amazing, grand canyon views. However, I do believe I did a pretty good job placing the cabin on the edge to take advantage of the view, while preserving the wildness and nature surrounding the cabin.
Also, I know how precious my guests vacation time is and I care about my guests' experience in my cabin home. I truly appreciate you sharing your experience. Lori
Total relaxation and privacy......great time!
