Everyone has heard of Daytona Beach, which is touted as “The Most Famous Beach in the World!” While we love everything Daytona has to offer, we’re exceedingly proud to offer a gorgeous, corner condo in Ormond Beach, Daytona’s luxurious neighbor to the north.

This two-bedroom, two-bath corner condo comes with an oceanfront swimming pool, updated decor, and high-speed wireless internet to stay in contact with the rest of the world.

Every window of our beach-front vacation condo overlooks the ocean. Simply gaze out your bedroom window for magnificent ocean sunrises. Or look over the inter-coastal waterway for peaceful sunsets. Let tensions disappear as you relax in your beach chair or stroll the wide, white-sand beaches along the great Atlantic Ocean.

The condo’s master suite features a king bed, while the second bedroom has two twin beds and an attached bathroom. The unit has its own washer and dryer, so no need to pack your quarters and detergent! The fully stocked kitchen has everything you’ll need to prepare delicious meals.

If you’re up for a little more excitement, take Highway A1A south to the heart of Daytona Beach, which is less than 15 minutes away. Or head to north to historic St. Augustine. If you’re looking for even more Florida thrill, drive to Orlando for shopping, all entertainment options, and even Disney World.

Continuous Upgrading: Each year, we identify upgrades to be made. For example, one year, we installed all new tile floors throughout. Then it was new kitchen appliances and a new flat screen HD TV with upgraded cable and WiFi. Most recently, we installed new cabinets and tiled showers.

We stay in the unit to determine things we would want if we were renting for a beach vacation. This is not a unit where there is an absentee owner who does not care about the condition. We maintain it well because we love visiting this beach paradise too. Come see for yourself!

About Mark & Sharon

My wife and I live near the other coast of Florida, but we love the more active Daytona area. I grew up on the Gulf and watched the old people. The young and the young at heart come to Daytona.

We love to travel and spend time with our adult children. We are sports fans and like to go to sporting events around the country. We spend time doing short-term mission work with our church.

As we began to look toward retirement, we decided to buy some vacation rentals. We have three other condos in the area. We love to host people and try to think of supplying all those things that we take for granted at home, but find absent in rental condos. We do a few home exchanges, and that helps us look at this as a "home" instead of a rental.

When you are here, we might see you or not! We love meeting new, great people, but we know some people like their privacy. Sometimes, we do, too.

Why Mark & Sharon chose Seawinds Condo

About 20 years ago, we began coming to Ormond Beach. It is really the quieter part of the beach. This beach is "no-drive" and a lot safer. This is a unique building in the area because it allows weekly rentals. In the winter, the snowbirds come for months at a time. That is great, but in the summer, we love seeing families--especially ours--enjoying our place. We also have an inside laundry for each unit, and, when staying here, that makes life a lot easier for the person dealing with washing bathing suits and wet clothes.

What makes this condo unique

The cool thing about this place is the quiet atmosphere. Being nine floors up, we can see and experience the ocean, but we don't hear anyone. This part of the beach is a good distance from public parks and public access points. This makes it less crowded. A really unique architectural feature of our unit is that on our corner, the units are reversed and you really have to try hard to see anyone else in the building when you are on the balcony. The other four units on the floor look right over on to each other. We are private people and like time to ourselves.

Thoughtful owners have equipped this condo with many extras and we found nothing to have to run out for on our arrival. Very comfortably furnished and nicely decorated. Full size appliances are a great feature including a washer and dryer (no need to run to a common user facility with pockets full of quarters). Great unrestricted view of the ocean, spectacular sunrises, beautiful uncrowded beach and pool. Very quiet and private corner unit, we never knew when or if we had neighbours. Lots of restaurants and attractions close by in Daytona Beach, plenty of golf, tennis, water sports, etc. Tks for everything Mr and Mrs Taylor, we hope to return in the future.

Delightful getaway spot!

The weather was cool but the experience was warm. The condo has wonderful views -- especially from the balcony -- of the beautiful beach and surging ocean on one side and the inter-coastal waterway on the other.The condo layout is efficient and spacious. The furnishings are comfortable, the decorations tasteful. Provisions are plentiful. It all adds up to a delightful and relaxing family vacation.

This condo on Ormond Beach was a delight. The condo is equipped with everything you may need. The pool and the beach are steps away and stores are conveniently close by. This is a quiet area but close to all the restaurants and attractions.

Beautiful condo with a spectacular view

The condo was well appointed. Mark and Sharon provided everything you could possibly need and then some. The condo is in exceptional condition, and it was spotless upon arrival. Arrival and departure instructions were clear and easy to follow. The view was truly stunning and was available from the master bedroom, living room, kitchen, and of course the balcony. The proximity to the beach and pool was an easy walk around the building. The property itself was clean and well maintained. The Publix grocery store was across the street and restaurants of all kinds were close by. We definitely plan to book with Mark and Sharon again for future visits.

Fantastic "Homecoming"

We lived in the Ormond -By-The-Sea, Flagler Beach area for many years. Being able to spend a week in this condo was like coming home. The condo was beautiful and the view was breathtaking. Had everything you could possibly want. This condo will be our first choice on our next visit!

Car: recommended

Quiet Ormond Beach is close to Daytona Beach including the Daytona Speedway and the Famous Boardwalk. A short 5 mile drive puts you in the middle of that action. Disney World, Epcot, Universal Studios and the entire central Florida attraction area are only a little over an hour away. Old St. Augustine is just up the coast. This is a great location for being close to it all, but being away from the crowds.
