Throughout the home are items not expected--a reclaimed barn wood floor (wood was transported from upstate NY), handmade reclaimed wood furniture, an assortment of wool hand knotted oriental rugs & Karastan wool accent rugs, hand crafted and/or carved furniture, floral arrangements, fine linens--duvets, shams, throws, quilts--and one of a kind decorator items collected over a period of years. It is not a cookie cutter platinum rated rental.

We bought in the Avon area because our family (now numbering 14 including children, spouses, and grandchildren) loves outdoor activities in the summer and winter. The females of our family find the shopping in Vail and Beaver Creek always entertaining and we all find the selection of local watering holes or upscale restaurants on special occasions unparalleled anywhere. For us it is a place for the family to relax, follow their own individual pursuits during the day and enjoy each others company in the time after.
The Owner purchased this townhome in 2003
Avon and Canyon Run in particular offers beautiful mountain views, the rush of the Eagle river, and convenient amenities without the high prices associated with Vail and Beaver Creek. The activities of these higher priced areas are however easily and quickly accessible if one so desires.
Our grandchildren really enjoy the waterpark in summer and the BC magic carpet in winter.
You will feel as though you are guests--friends of the owners of this deluxe and rare town home.
We had a wonderful stay at your beautiful Avon home – thank you for everything! We were a bit nervous bringing our 2 and 4 year old daughters to such an upscale home but were pleased to find the home very child friendly and also extravagantly decorated with a distinct mountain-home feel. We felt pampered yet comfortable – we look forward to coming back in the summer to spend more time shopping, biking, hiking, fishing and kayaking! I also just have to share that this was an especially memorable trip for us because it was our 4 year olds first time skiing! Getting her to the magic carpet learning area at Bachelor Gulch was so easy and scenic; it was a perfect introduction to alpine skiing. The girls were also tickled to have a large flat screen television in their room and loved all the animal prints around the home – the care you took in choosing a location, furnishing, decorating, and stocking this home did not go unnoticed. We’re already planning our next stay!"
This was the perfect accomodation for our family encompassing three generations including adult grandchildren. Sally, the owner seemed to anticipate our every need, having the condo well stocked with all the essentials. Furnishings are first class and location is ideal. We highly recommend this condo and look forward to returning in the future.
This accommodation is wonderful. As soon as you enter, the warmth and care of this condo is apparent. Everything in the property is good quality with nice touches that make you feel right at home. Its location beside the river adds to its appeal. Sally, the owner is very keen to ensure all visitors have the best visit possible.The condo is beautifully furnished. The 3 bedrooms are very comfortable and well appointed certainly accommodating our party of 6 adults very well.The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials to get you started. The outside bbq is perfect for cooking meat. Its location is perfect within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Getting to the ski fields is easy- either catching a bus out the front of walking to to the gondola. The quality of this accommodation ensured we had a very special holiday. We highly recommend this accommodation in Avon.
This condo is beautiful and perfectly located close to everything! From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need to entertain. We walked to the gondola at the Westin to ski every day. The City Market is close as well as many restaurants. We loved Montanas for dinner and there is a great bakery across the street. We did not have a car so we relied on the public shuttle that ran every 15 minutes at the Westin. Catching the shuttle to return from the mountain was crowded but doable. We would definitely return to Canton Run and highly recommend this property!
My family of four had the pleasure of staying at this property this summer. The location of the property is extremely convenient. We were able to ride bikes everywhere, fly fish right outside the door, walk to the Rodeo and nearby restaurants. The home is beautifully furnished with extremely comfortable furniture and beds. The kitchen provides all of the necessities for preparing food at home and the outdoor grill is awesome! I so appreciate Sally's personal touches that she adds to make the stay extra special. We will certainly be back and thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

She started off by communicating very well with us and helping us with questions about the area. We were there because our daughter was getting married and the condo made the perfect weekend even better.
We were greeted by her beautiful home which was decorated impeccably. There was the most thoughtful gift awaiting us which made me totally start crying (remember, my daughter was getting married... I suppose it wouldn't have taken much!) along with the sweetest personalized letter. Sally made us feel as if she truly was glad we were there.
The set up was perfect for us because we were traveling with our 4 grandchildren and they had a separate area downstairs so that we could stay up late, visiting and playing cards without bothering them. I spent so much time on the back patio with coffee overlooking Eagle River. Heaven!!
The location is perfect. You are 5 minutes walk from the Westin (wedding location!) with all it's shops and restaurants and the gondola that will take you up to Beaver Creek resort during ski season. You are also 500 feet from a Starbucks and delicious bakery. There's also a massage place there, which I am still regretting that I did not partake in. Like I said... perfect!

Beautiful spacious condo provides first class accomodations and is beautifully decorated with reclaimed barnwood floors and leather furniture. Two Balconys over look the river - one off the living room with comfortable chairs and gas grill and one off the downstairs master. Three large bedrooms with attached baths - 2 with queens, 1 with King and all with very comfortable beds. Nice kitchen with everything and more. The owner, Sally, was wonderful to work with and really knows how to make her guest feel welcome. Walking distance to shops, resturants and stores. Be sure to check out the bike/walking path along the river. I can't wait to return.
The Westin and the Gondola is a leisurely five minute stroll along the scenic river bike path. The meandering path continues for miles along the river to Edwards with its quaint Victorian Style shops. Walk directly out your door to the river to fish or raft. Kayak park also just a short walk downstream or launch out your back door. Zip lining is close and golfing is everywhere. Sailing and water skiing is an hour away. Define your adventures!

Standard Payments Terms are: One half total is required at time of reservation. Remaining balance is required 60 days in advance of short term rental and 90 days in advance of long term rental. Personal check is preferred. PayPal payment is available for an extra 3% of total amount due.
