Relax & Enjoy!! You May Not Want to Leave.
This condo was beautifully decorated and clean. The kitchen had all that we needed. The view can't be beat. We enjoyed the fire place each evening. The ability to walk to restaurants and attractions was a bonus. The owner is very easy to work with.
This was our third visit in the gorgeous condo. When taking the first step thru the door you know it is vacation time! We love to just sit in the living room and look out onto the bay watching the crab boats come in and out. There is not a more beautiful sunset than from right here! We had our 15 year old grandson with us this year and oh how he did enjoy Crisfield. He crabbed and fished off the dock right below us and had a grand time. He caught over 100 fish ( not all keepers) and brought in 22 crabs. He made fishing friends down on the dock and just had a great time. Crisfield is a wonderful place to visit and THIS is the place to stay while there. My mother is from Crisfield and this year my cousins surprised me with a reunion of cousins that I wasn't expecting, some cousins I hadn't seen in over 40 years and some I had never met!! It was wonderful!! My son and his wife want to visit this summer and I have already told them and a cousin from here in East TN to check this place out, it just can't be beat!! Can't wait to return next year...but we will have to book early as this place is beautiful.
This was the fourth year staying at a Harbour Lights unit and I believe this was the best yet! The view is fantastic because of being an end unit and being the closest to the dock side. A very comfortable unit with everything you may need. We visit every year to see what's left of family, as both my husband parents were from the area, and his brother and wife drive down from DE - we usually end up at Linton's for some great seafood. And always a visit to the Elk's and Legion. Also breakfast at the Water's Edge and the Circle Inn. Not much open in town at this time of the year, but just enjoy relaxing out on the wrap-around patio!
There were six of us staying at Jim's condo. We live on the western side of the Bay. Our friends flew in from the Midwest and we had a great "reunion" weekend together. After picking up our friends at BWI, it was a pleasant drive to Crisfield. Great to get away from the congestion and traffic!
We arrived on a Thursday, unpacked, picked up a few groceries and had a great night's sleep. On Friday, we took the cruise to Tangier Island; Saturday afternoon we enjoyed ourselves at The Crab Place for a crab feast, on Sunday we had the most delicious meal at the Watermen's Inn! Throughout our stay we strolled along the small downtown of Crisfield souvenir shopping, loved the farmer's market on Saturday, and were in awe of the artistry of the local decoy carver. Stopped by the Chamber of Commerce visitor center and we even met the mayor who gave us a wonderful history lesson on the area! Loved the Museum (and it's gift shop).
This was our second trip to Crisfield. Last year we did not stay in a condo, so we are SO glad we did this time! Although Dock Days last year was awesome (cancelled this year). We're hoping it will be rescheduled during our next visit.
On Sunday two of us drove up to Willards for horse trail riding at Holly Ridge Equestrian Farm, while the others enjoyed watching football back at the condo.
The condo was a fantastic place to unwind, relax, and enjoy each other's company. Even though the ice maker in the freezer was not working and one of the coffee makers seemed to be on the fritz, we all highly recommend staying here! And we WILL be back next year! There is so much more we are looking forward to exploring. The condo is a great "base" for checking out local activities and sights!
Another decompressing week at Crisfield in a comfortably appointed condo on the bay. A great get-away for our two families with easy access to OC, Smith Island, the Salisbury Zoo and more. Peaceful, soothing retreat!
This condo was perfect for our entire family....everyone from our five year old son to his almost seventy year old grandma had a great time! The unit was clean, the lay-out great and everything we could have needed was provided. The photos you see are 100% accurate, but the condo is even better in real life! We enjoyed the pool, and most of the time, we were the only ones in it! The owner was very helpful with all of our questions and has great communication skills.
Crisfield is a fantastic, quiet, little town. We constantly commented on how nice everyone was...a truly friendly community! They have a great new playground and a beautiful new library. We even went to the library's story time. Although we did not get to spend time there, we did visit the beach which looks perfect for families with young children. Crisfield is close enough to other Maryland attractions to take day trips, too.
All in all, we loved the condo and the town it's in. We hope to return one day!
