About Leslie Wolff
Our family is originally from New England and we love old interesting properties with charm and potential. We were interested in saving the cottage from becoming a bank or McDonald's someday. The location is excellent and we spent a lot of time and energy restoring the cottage to reflect it's historical fishing cottage ambiance.
Leslie Wolff purchased this Cottage in 2003
Why Leslie Wolff chose Sebastian
When we lived in New York City we restored some brownstones in up and coming neighborhoods. Keeping the architectural integrity and adding a splash of modern conveniences like flat screen tv's was the goal to make a pleasurable vacation experience.
What makes this Cottage unique
Sebastian is like an old fishing village. Pelican Cottage is where our grandparents age group stayed. It gives you a glimpse of the past. If you are fussy and a perfectionist please stay at the Holiday Inn or the Ritz .

Nice cottages with short drivimg distance to Wabasso Beach
Jason was amazing, always checking on us. Cottage was a perfect size for us, the two boys and two goldens. Clean with everything we needed. Can be a little loud with US1 and the train track nearby, but nothing ear plugs can’t fix.
Thank you so much for staying with us . We are happy you enjoyed your cottage and look forward to seeing you again . The Wolff Family
Disappointing, would not recommend
I rented the Pelican Cottage for 2 nights this past weekend. The manager contacted me and suggested we would be more comfortable in another cottage, which had a king bed, and that although it was more expensive, she would give it to us for the same price. She didn't mention that the front door and windows opened onto a major highway and was extremely noisy. I agreed and when we arrived, someone greeted us and showed us to our 'cottage.' It was not a cottage, but an apartment in a building that also housed the office, laundry, and a smaller apartment. When I said we could not stay here due to the excessive noise, the young man said they were sold out, but that he could clean the smaller apartment in this same building and we could stay there. It was also near the highway, but a bit quieter. The bed was old and uncomfortable, and the ceiling tiles were old and bulging and many were broken. I feel that the manager did a "bait and switch" when we first booked. I am sure we would have been fine in the Pelican Cottage which was away from the highway and much quieter, but what we were put in for our 2-night stay was certainly not worth the money.
Charming cottage . We had a wonderful stay. Nice linens and delighted there was a large flat screen
The best location . Nice and quiet yet near all the restaurants and the park on the water.
