The river is stocked with rainbow trout and you can relax for hours by the river enjoying the river and the views of Rocky Mountain National Park. While the guys fish, the gals can enjoy a relaxing jacuzzi tub or steam shower (or a leisurely walk to go shopping, if you prefer, or even better . . . Why not both?)

Cozy up in front of the fireplace with a good book and a cup of tea or glass of wine. Enjoy the Elk walking up the river. Walking distance to downtown, restaurants, shopping, brew pub and amusement park. Estes Park is a little 'slice of heaven' and we have created a comfortable, warm, relaxing, cabin to enjoy with your family and friends.

The master bedroom is on the upper level and has aspen paneling, a King Log bed and a TV. The bathroom has a steam shower . . . so relaxing after a day of hiking or snow shoeing or just a great way to de-stress.

A 'pack and play' style crib, a card table, games, books and puzzles are all included. And yes, there is even a massage table to complete the cabin.

About Jane Livingston - Owner

I consider myself to be very blessed and fortunate to live in a country where we can enjoy our freedoms. I am a lucky mom to a wonderful teenage son. I find the world and people fascinating and relish the time I can spend traveling and exploring.. I love to travel, experience the world and spend time outdoors.

Jane Livingston - Owner purchased this cabin in 2008

Why Jane Livingston - Owner chose Rocky Mountain National Park

The river and views of the mountains are wonderful. The sound of the river and the energy from it are incredible. We love sitting by the river and enjoying its ever changing movement and sound.

What makes this cabin unique

Our home is a very convenient location with just a short walk to restaurants and downtown and only a 5 minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park or the YMCA. Year around we love going for a walk or a jog along the river walk that starts a few blocks away and continues along the river, around Lake Estes and around the golf course.

Best place! We will be back!!!

  • 5 of 5

We loved, loved, loved staying at this cabin. It has a great mountain feel and we loved being by the river with the view of the mountains. We loved the fact that we could walk downtown or to restaurants close by and didn't need to drive. Our teenagers could walk downtown by themselves and they loved that they could be on their own for a bit. Being only 5 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park made it so easy for exploring the park. We loved that the adults could be on the main floor talking, cooking and watching TV and the kids could be on the other floor making noise and playing their games. Jane was very easy to work with, very efficient in her communications and was very helpful . . . she was a true pleasure to work with and it shows that she cares about her home and that she wants her guests to enjoy Estes Park and the beautiful area. Thanks Jane for allowing us to rent your home, we can't wait to come back!

Great location, Very comfortable accomodations

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I spent a wonderful week in Estes Park with my parents and sister's family, nine of us in total. Jane's Spa Cabin was the perfect size for us and was very comfortable all around. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. that you would ever need. The location was ideal, only a few minutes from downtown Estes Park, and 5 minutes from the entrance to RMNP. Being right on the Big Thompson River was a treat, with easy access to fishing and the relaxing sound of running water.

If you have any elderly members of your party who have trouble with stairs, please note that there is a substantial flight of stairs to get to the main living area and kitchen.

Family trip

  • 4 of 5

Ok, the house is absolutely wonderful. So well appointed. My granddaughter's favorite thing was the "bug" nightlight in "HER" bunk room Kids toys and books available helped too. Kitchen was great to work in. Very clean. The Big Thompson outside our windows was a wonderful treat. We would totally recommend the house for those of you looking for a great house.

The issues we had:

Very poor communication coming from owner. Many excuses for that. Had to listen to excuses rather than her addressing our questions or concerns. Unprofessional. Took away from our experience.

Also, "relax in a jacuzzi" was ill stated. There were absolutely NO plugs for the sinks or bathtubs. Hard to wash dishes. Certainly difficult to bathe much less enjoy a "spa" experience. Absolutely not the end of the world. Just FYI

Owner's Response: We love that our home was wonderful and your granddaughter had a great time. Thank you for writing about the plugs for the sink and tub as we have not heard from anyone else they were missing and we can get those replaced very quickly. We are so sorry to learn those were missing. If we had been told they were missing while you were there, we would have had them replaced during your stay. I was surprised when I read your review since I called you twice after your check in to make sure everything was okay. I was told everything was good by your husband and we did not receive a phone call, text or email from you during your stay. We hope you have a wonderful summer. Thank you, Jane

It was perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for 5 days and this house was perfect. It was clean and fully loaded... everything we needed in the kitchen was there to cook in or out. Some of the reviews I read were alittle over board I mean yes there is a storage unit to the left but it's all about what you make it.All you do is drive by it so big deal.. I sat out every morning drinking my coffee and just looked at the beautiful view and elk were everywhere. The location is a plus 5 minutes from downtown and 10 minutes from the entrance of RMNP..what a perfect place to stay and the owner was wonderful too.I would highly recommend this house.

What a gem!

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I (8 of us total) had a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful riverside cabin. The location is fantastic, as we were within walking distance from two delicious local breweries, and just a 15 minute drive from a beautiful hike to a very accessible lake. Also within short driving/average walking distance are a Safeway, a great BBQ restaurant, and the downtown area. The cabin itself was also very very nice. It comfortably slept all 8 of us, and we used the grill and the fantastic and up to date kitchen to make some delicious meals together. The fire pit made a great place for us to gather and bond during this "reunion" boys trip. Overall, the cabin greatly exceeded our high expectations, and we have all spent the last day and a half wishing we were still there. We will be back!
