About Jane Livingston - Owner

I consider myself to be very blessed and fortunate to live in a country where we can enjoy our freedoms. I am a lucky mom to a wonderful teenage son. I find the world and people fascinating and relish the time I can spend traveling and exploring.. I love to travel, experience the world and spend time outdoors.

Jane Livingston - Owner purchased this cabin in 2008

Why Jane Livingston - Owner chose Rocky Mountain National Park

The river and views of the mountains are wonderful. The sound of the river and the energy from it are incredible. We love sitting by the river and enjoying its ever changing movement and sound.

What makes this cabin unique

Our home is a very convenient location with just a short walk to restaurants and downtown and only a 5 minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park or the YMCA. Year around we love going for a walk or a jog along the river walk that starts a few blocks away and continues along the river, around Lake Estes and around the golf course.

Best place! We will be back!!!

  • 5 of 5

We loved, loved, loved staying at this cabin. It has a great mountain feel and we loved being by the river with the view of the mountains. We loved the fact that we could walk downtown or to restaurants close by and didn't need to drive. Our teenagers could walk downtown by themselves and they loved that they could be on their own for a bit. Being only 5 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park made it so easy for exploring the park. We loved that the adults could be on the main floor talking, cooking and watching TV and the kids could be on the other floor making noise and playing their games. Jane was very easy to work with, very efficient in her communications and was very helpful . . . she was a true pleasure to work with and it shows that she cares about her home and that she wants her guests to enjoy Estes Park and the beautiful area. Thanks Jane for allowing us to rent your home, we can't wait to come back!

Perfect location in Estes Park

  • 5 of 5

This cabin had it all. We were right on a beautiful little river where my daughters fed the ducks. Walking distance to downtown. The beds and linens were luxurious and we enjoyed sitting by the fire playing games. We will recommend this cabin to all of our friends. THANK YOU for helping us make treasured family memories.

Best Estes Park Visit Ever!

  • 5 of 5

We've been to Estes Park many times, but this wonderful home with THE RIVER, made everything extra special. Jane was very helpful and provided us with all the info we needed. The home is so comfortable and mountain cozy. Love the steam shower. We saw Elk right by the river next to the house! It had everything we needed and is so convenient to RMNP and a short walk to downtown Estes Park. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. We are already planning our next visit.

Convenient to shopping

  • 5 of 5

The house was wonderful. Everything we needed was provided. There was a well equipped kitchen and room for our whole family to have their own space. The only drawback, although not agreeded upon by the rest of the family, was the location. I did not enjoy being next to a storage facility of many buildings. Also, across the river was the back of a commercial facility. The house was close to shopping and grocery store. The elk made their way along the river in the morning.

Great Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

I really liked being right on the river and having a separate space to call my own. The place was clean and comfortable. I liked having my own bathroom too. We saw a ton of elk in Rocky Mountain National Park and heard them bugle. Shopping is always fun for me. I like to listen to the river, it feels like you are in a secluded place.

Nees more stars!!! This is a 10!

  • 5 of 5

What wonderful accomodations! It was VERY clean, roomy, had a great place for the kids to hang out giving them their own space, two fireplaces, and wonderful vacation decor. It feels so Colorado! The kids enjoyed being able to take a short walk to downtown; the location is very convenient to Rocky Mountain National Park without the hassle of downtown traffic, and the home is located right on the river. We enjoyed sitting by the river and an outdoor fire. Often people think there are no stores open at this time of year, but they were almost all open and we had a great day of shopping finishing with drinks and dinner at The Stanley Hotel. This is such a peaceful place to stay and makes a quick get-a-way. The owner is awesome, you can tell she really cares about your stay and comfort.
