I consider myself to be very blessed and fortunate to live in a country where we can enjoy our freedoms. I am a lucky mom to a wonderful teenage son. I find the world and people fascinating and relish the time I can spend traveling and exploring.. I love to travel, experience the world and spend time outdoors.

The river and views of the mountains are wonderful. The sound of the river and the energy from it are incredible. We love sitting by the river and enjoying its ever changing movement and sound.
Our home is a very convenient location with just a short walk to restaurants and downtown and only a 5 minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park or the YMCA. Year around we love going for a walk or a jog along the river walk that starts a few blocks away and continues along the river, around Lake Estes and around the golf course.
This cabin had it all. We were right on a beautiful little river where my daughters fed the ducks. Walking distance to downtown. The beds and linens were luxurious and we enjoyed sitting by the fire playing games. We will recommend this cabin to all of our friends. THANK YOU for helping us make treasured family memories.
I've been to Estes many times and this is by far one of the nicest places I've stayed. It had everything we were looking for - a great common area for our family to gather, ample space for the little ones to run around and private rooms with comfortable beds. All of this and it was close to downtown Estes and near the national park. We will definitely be back!
Very nice home with everything (and more) that we needed during our stay. We would stay here again!
We only stayed one night, and the rate was advertised as a reasonable amount per night. The online pictures looked wonderful, and we were excited to stay at this 'streamside cabin.' When I clicked to reserve, I was surprised to see a cleaning fee of almost the nightly rate added to the tax & other fees, along with a huge deposit (for 1 night, mind you). Then, the next day, I had another invoice for a % of the total because I had paid with a credit/debit card (seriously? how else do you pay for an online rental?). So, our one night stay wound up costing us more than double the advertised rate! AND...we had to wash the dishes, strip the beds, wash & dry the towels, get the sheets washing, empty all the trash cans in the house & take it out to a dumpster (with a lid that has a heavy bar over it - not an easy task). I have to wonder just what the cleaning fee was for -- the showers had black stuff in the corners & on the shower base, there were webs on the ceilings, in the corners & over the kitchen sink, and the light fixtures had a thick layer of dust on them. The bathroom heater wouldn't work (it was below freezing in Estes Park in December, so that made for some COLD trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night). Oh, and the stream-side setting...you drive through an industrial storage unit area...not exactly the peaceful setting we thought we were getting. The rate we wound up paying wouldn't be awful if everything else had been amazing. On a positive note, the inside is charming and would sleep 3 couples in 3 king size beds in private rooms (1 of the rooms has bunk beds, and there's a daybed in the upstairs family room for more sleeping). The upstairs bath has a steam shower, and the downstairs bedroom has a jacuzzi tub (didn't use). It is close to town, and there are decks that might be nice in the summertime, but the road noise is significant. We love Estes Park, and have stayed at several really nice cabins in the area.
We've been to Estes Park many times, but this wonderful home with THE RIVER, made everything extra special. Jane was very helpful and provided us with all the info we needed. The home is so comfortable and mountain cozy. Love the steam shower. We saw Elk right by the river next to the house! It had everything we needed and is so convenient to RMNP and a short walk to downtown Estes Park. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. We are already planning our next visit.
The house was wonderful. Everything we needed was provided. There was a well equipped kitchen and room for our whole family to have their own space. The only drawback, although not agreeded upon by the rest of the family, was the location. I did not enjoy being next to a storage facility of many buildings. Also, across the river was the back of a commercial facility. The house was close to shopping and grocery store. The elk made their way along the river in the morning.
