Cozy up in front of the fireplace with a good book and a cup of tea or glass of wine. Enjoy the Elk walking up the river. Walking distance to downtown, restaurants, shopping, brew pub and amusement park. I can be reached on 612.229.7999 if you have questions . Estes Park is a little 'slice of heaven' and we have created a comfortable, warm, relaxing, cabin to enjoy with your family and friends.

The living room is on the upper level has a fireplace, views of the mountains, a big screen TV, DVD, Stereo, Sofa, Ottoman, Rocking Chair, comfy log daybed (twin) sofa with a twin bed trundle and a game table for jigsaw puzzles or late night card games.

The family room is on the first level and has another fireplace, a door that opens to the sight and sounds of the river, a queen sleeper sofa and a 32 inch TV, DVD and Playstation .

The master bedroom is on the upper level and has aspen paneling, a King Log bed and a TV. The bathroom has a steam shower . . . so relaxing after a day of hiking or snow shoeing or just a great way to de-stress.

The second master bedroom is on the first level has a door that opens to the sights and sounds of the river and mountains, a King Log Bed and a TV. The bathroom has a two-person jacuzzi tub and a shower.

The third bedroom is on the first level has a King Log Bed, a TV and a door that opens to the sights and sounds of the river and mountains.

The third bathroom is on the first level and is adjacent to the third bedroom and the family room. The third bathroom has a shower.

The fourth bedroom is the 'kids' room and is on the first level, complete with a set of bunk beds with a twin trundle and a TV.

A 'pack and play' style crib, a card table, games, books and puzzles are all included. And yes, there is even a massage table to complete the cabin.

The patio has new furniture for taking in the beautiful Rocky Mountain sky, the big pine trees, the mountains; relax for hours enjoying the sight and sounds of the river. Enjoy the rainbow trout you caught and fresh veggies cooked on the gas grill.

About Jane Livingston - Owner

I consider myself to be very blessed and fortunate to live in a country where we can enjoy our freedoms. I am a lucky mom to a wonderful teenage son. I find the world and people fascinating and relish the time I can spend traveling and exploring.. I love to travel, experience the world and spend time outdoors.

Jane Livingston - Owner purchased this cabin in 2008

Why Jane Livingston - Owner chose Rocky Mountain National Park

The river and views of the mountains are wonderful. The sound of the river and the energy from it are incredible. We love sitting by the river and enjoying its ever changing movement and sound.

What makes this cabin unique

Our home is a very convenient location with just a short walk to restaurants and downtown and only a 5 minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park or the YMCA. Year around we love going for a walk or a jog along the river walk that starts a few blocks away and continues along the river, around Lake Estes and around the golf course.

Perfect location in Estes Park

  • 5 of 5

This cabin had it all. We were right on a beautiful little river where my daughters fed the ducks. Walking distance to downtown. The beds and linens were luxurious and we enjoyed sitting by the fire playing games. We will recommend this cabin to all of our friends. THANK YOU for helping us make treasured family memories.

GIRLS TRIP!

  • 4 of 5

It was within walking distance to town and several breweries along the way. Very spacious for the 6 of us. The hot tub is nothing like what you would expect by looking at the user manual and the first night while we were in it, it only worked for like 10 mins and then shut off and never turned back on. Also the sink in the kitchen kept gurgling and when it would do that the water would maybe flush or something and makes lots of noise in the master downstairs. Other than those hickups we had the MOST AMAZING TIME! It is something we will never forget ... I cant wait for the next trip!

Relaxing!

  • 4 of 5

A few girlfriends and I stayed at the Spa Cabin for President's Day weekend and had the best time! The cabin is absolutely perfect from the decor, to the amount of space, to the setting on the river. We had 6 girls total and it was plenty spacious, we could have easily doubled the amount of people in the cabin comfortably. We loved opening the doors and windows to hear the rushing of the river while we played games and drank wine by the fire. The hot tub sits right next to the river and you can see the mountains in the distance. It was truly relaxing and magical! We will definitely be back again!

My only two complaints (and neither are a huge deal) would be the location of the cabin- you are in a little neighborhood of storage units so its not as remote as the pictures make it seem to be, but if you are looking at the river, you pay little attention to the units surrounding the cabin. Another thing I haven't come across before with VRBO, AirBnB or Homeaway is the amount of cleaning that needed to be done before we left. We were required to do loads of towels, clean up the kitchen, wash the sheets.. we didn't mind doing this however we are also charged a cleaning fee, so we were wondering what the cleaning fee was for because we cleaned pretty much everything before leaving per the checkout list.

Overall, incredible experience! We will definitely be back and will recommend this cabin to family and friends!

Thanks again, Janet!!

Owner's Response: We are glad you enjoyed your stay. I am not sure why you thought you were required to wash your sheets as we do not ask our guests to do that. There is much, much more that the cleaners do - some of the things they do - washing and changing all of the beds, vacuuming and mopping all the floors, dusting, cleaning showers, toilets, sinks, tubs, bathroom floors, cleaning the kitchen (as we only ask you to not leave to dirty dishes - they can be in the dishwasher), cleaning out the refrigerator, cleaning the stove, countertops, putting away dishes from the dishwasher, folding and putting away the towels, cleaning and organizing all the rooms, washing off windows, vacuuming etc., etc., etc., There is a great deal of work that goes into cleaning the house between guests and the cleaners work very hard. I know because I was a cleaner in my earlier years.

Beautiful Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

This was by far the easiest vacation rental we have ever rented. Communication with the owner was easy, all instructions for stay were clear. The house is well taking care of and very clean. We will be staying here again!!

Great Experience!

  • 5 of 5

I would definitely recommend this cabin to any family group and we would definitely rent again! Our four night stay in November for our daughters wedding was not long enough, next time we will stay longer. The cabin indoors and outdoors was perfect!

The notebook on the coffee table filled with instructions and list of restaurants was great! I would recommend the Poppy Pizza Bar and Grill and Twin Owls Steakhouse. We chose the restaurants before we arrived by google searching top 10 restaurants so I could make reservations for the steakhouse months in advance and was glad to see them in the notebook!

My husband and I loved having our coffee outdoors in the morning with the mountains in our view! Next time we stay, we hope there won't be an outdoor fire ban, so we can use the fire pit by the river.

Just a quick note, if you fill the jacuzzi up and it won't start, be smart as my husband was to push the reset button on the outlet. It worked great!

Thank you Jane for our wonderful stay!!!
