This condo is set back in a quiet, family area and features a free shuttle to beautiful Surfside beach. Tupelo Bay is a great beach location without all the high rise hotels so you don't have all the crowds or the shade on the beach in the afternoon. Located minutes away from Murells Inlet and all the great restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Just a short drive from favorites like Marketplace Commons and Boardwalk on the Beach. You can have peace and quiet when you want it and all the night life. For the golfer, Tupelo Bay features an 18 hole Executive course, a lighted 9 hole par 3 course, 36 holes of miniature golf, and Myrtle's best driving range! There are even configurations for Frisbee golf and the new favorite "foot golf." We are also located nearby all the great courses in the region. If you want to sample some of the top 100 public courses, this is the spot to be. We are just a short drive from Pawleys Island, Georgetown, and Charleston. Perfect for traveling with our older parents that couldn't do stairs. Perfect for older or physically challenged visitors with great high toilets, a walk in shower with seat, and a convenient elevator large enough to accommodate wheel chairs. Something for everyone regardless of your vacation taste!

Nice big place and was able to book last minute but wasn't made aware that the place didn't have linens prior to arrival. Community was quiet and the fitness center was well equipped.

I would NOT stay here again!
The location is good although you have to cross a main highway to get to the beach so you'll need to drive or take the free shuttle. The layout of the units are good. We have stayed in other units at Tupelo in the past and had such a good experience we decided to return, this time using John's unit. John, the owner, sent the keys by mail but didn't provide us with the unit number for us to check into. He was unresponsive for hours by text, phone and email as we tried to get into the unit. We had to do vacuuming when we arrived at John's unit as there was an enormous amount of dust built up. There were holes and stains in the comforter in our bedroom. There were stains on the chairs in the sun room. There was also a ton of mold on the shower curtains. I contacted the owner and sent him pictures of some of the issues. He was unapologetic. There was a water outage one of the days while we were getting ready so no one could shower before we headed out. Linens for the beds are not even provided. I was going to overlook some of the issues but to put things over the top John is now trying to withhold some of our security deposit claiming that we left the unit too dirty. Overall I would stay at Tupelo again but definitely not at this unit or any other owned by John.
It's unfortunate that Brandon did not enjoy his stay. In 8 years of renting this property, I have received nothing but positive feedback including several listing how clean and beautiful the property is. This includes comments from two renters who stayed just weeks before Brandon. The dirt he found was on the inside of the furnace room door, an area that doesn't affect most users. No other stains or issues were brought to my attention during his stay.
Brandon arrived at the property before the normal afternoon check in time and I happened to be out of cellphone and email access that morning. Unfortunately, Brandon did not fully read the listing which contained much of the information he needed. More communication in advance of his stay like prior renters could have resolved most of his issues. The water issue was caused by an emergency repair in the community and service was restored within 10 minutes of when Brandon notified me and I provided him with immediate response from the community maintenance staff. While I prefer never to withhold any portion of the security deposit, my cleaner charged additional fees for how dirty Brandon left the unit including burned food that ruined a kitchen pot.
My many repeat renters present a more honest opinion of this property and I urge potential clients to view the other feedback and or ask for references if you have any concerns.

The property is located in a golf course, pool, and tennis community. 15 minutes south of Myrtle Beach airport. Great family location, quiet area that is also close to all the major attractions, beach, golf, shopping, entertainment. Market Commons and Broadway at the Beach are just a short drive away. Minutes from Murrells Inlet restaurants. Short drive to Georgetown, Pawley's Island, and Charleston. Free Shuttle to private beach with restaurant. Indoor and outdoor pools as well as a fitness center on the premises. Fun for all ages! Linens are not provided but many local companies can be contracted with directly if needed.
